The estimate they gave me was very reasonable and affordable. Jimmy took his time to make sure the repair was done right and that the quality of the work was top-notch. He and his associate were both really awesome and professional, and Dan was nice enough to call around to try to find a local supplier who carried my old and antiquated model so that the cost would be kept low. Unfortunately my condo complex is built as cheaply as possible so nobody carried the part, so i decided to just let Dan replace it. He did that and a full flush for a reasonable price. A good experience with a plumber? How about great! I've never had, or seen with my parents, such a thing. Within 15 minutes of posting my 'leaky faucet' issue, I received five responses. As I was getting responses, I would check out the reviews and other pertinent information on the company. One was new (and had only one review but a five-star rating), the others had 4.5 star ratings, and a couple of them seemed okay and had been reviewed by hundreds. The last response I received was from The Sewer Surgeon. Five-star review from 19 reviews had great highlighted attributes. They sent me a message hours available yesterday and today, which was great. I requested a time, was confirmed, a couple more messages sent back and forth. Come noon today, the plumber was right on time. Jonathan was professional and friendly. I showed him the problem. He examined the knobs and valves and stuff, knew what needed to be done and didn't overhype it (so refreshing!). He understood my situation and addressed the problem, while also letting me know what was needed for a long-term solution. In about an hour, he was done! While many things (such as products, services, attitudes and professionalism) have gone downhill in the last 30 years, these folks aren't like that at all. So often I have a lukewarm or conditional response regarding giving out recommendations for companies and employees in such fields, but not so with The Sewer Surgeon and Jonathan. Clean, knowledgeable, communicative, friendly and professional! I highly recommend them and will have them back again if something breaks that they can fix. Awesome! read more

After years of having backed up showers and sinks and repeatedly snaking our old main clay line, my wife and I finally decided it was time to finally address the problem and replace our main sewer line. Our old plumber we used for years seemed to no longer be in business so a friend of ours gave us the recommendation and we decided to give the sewer surgeon a call. They sent a technician out right away. Andrew arrived and was extremely friendly and very professional! Diagnosing our issue, we had already known from past experience, and years of snaking out the roots from our broken line what we were facing, but Andrew was very thorough and was able to show us in real time exactly where our issues were through his camera and what our options were. He promised he could clear the line by snaking it, but eventually he'd be back to do it again. Based off his quote and the trust we had in him, my wife and I decided it was time. Him and his crew replaced our old broken clay line with ABS, and had the entire project finished quicker than we imagined! I've got to give props to SWE! Nick is the best & fantastic to work with. On my first call to them, Nick literally gave me the contact info for an underground water leak detection company, and suggested that I call them directly to save some $$; instead of having them do it just to charge me more for the exact same service. He arrived on site within minutes of my call to do an evaluation, & had a guy out to me in an hour. I had an underground water leak from the main to the house. Unfortunately for me the leak was under the drive way. I had serious concerns about tearing up my driveway, I expressed to Nick that this was my main concern to NOT do it. But fortunately the leak was semi accessible by tearing up some landscaping, and tunneling in to the leak from the side of the drive way. It was wasting 1900 gallons a day. I could already see my water bill skyrocketing. They worked incredibly fast & resolved my issue within a day. I am grateful that honest businesses still exist, and stand by their work. read more

We had an after hours plumbing emergency (the entire house was backing up) that needed to be addressed. I called the Sewer Surgeon and they told me they'd have someone out in 60-90 minutes. Ivan showed up and tried snaking the line. After 100' of snake, he told me that it would take a hydro jet to clear the line. They at least got the plumbing to be usable for the night. Ivan and a co-worker showed up the following day to proceed with the hydro jet which was successful. A camera was inserted into the line to see where the problem was. This is new construction and the new sewer line from the house connected to an old style main city/sewer hookup in the alley. The old pipe is in need of replacement and will be a costly job. Ivan was excellent and I'd highly recommend the Sewer Surgeon to try to do the initial fix. Every now/then, you get lucky and it will just take a snake to clear the line and fix the problem. We weren't so lucky but now know what we're dealing with and can address the problem. read more

the sewer surgeon completely helped me with my mainline. i had called them because everything in my house completely started backing up so i automatically thought this was something huge. not onlyh that they had the best prices so i gave the sewer surgeon a call and they came out literally within a hour. francisco was our technician he was really friendly and super professional. i told him our problem and he right away took care of it. after francisco finished the job he suggested i get a camera inspection so that i can check to see if i had any bigger issues. he scheduled a camera inspection with his supervisor john and they were both able to locate i had roots. they gave me a very good estimate on fixing the issue. once booked they had started right away. thank you sewer surgeon i will definetly keep you guys as my forever plumbers! read more

Scott and the Sewer Surgeon crew have been amazing to work with. When I called on a Sunday evening with a major blockage, Scott was there within an hour. He continued to work on our blockage for an hour and a half until we could use our plumbing. Two different cracks in two different pipes were the culprits. The next day Scott was at our house getting to work on crack number 1. He finished the job on time and did very neat work. For crack number 2, Scott and his crew again did great work. He brought in another company to install a liner in our sewer pipe. That company's work was efficient and thorough. They even used a camera to make sure the work was complete. I called on a Sunday and Jose arrived before the scheduled time. The toilet flange needed to be replaced. John the Supervisor and Jose came on Monday. John crawled under the house. He explained everything and was really polite. Once I accepted the price, Jose contacted the installer to respond to my house. The installer Robert arrived and started working under the house. Both Robert and Jose left late and finished the majority of the job. On Tuesday, the job was finished. Robert and Jose did an outstanding job and they cleaned up everything inside my bathrooms. Nick, and Andrew are always helpful on any questions you have regarding to plumbing. They have great references if you need construction works, landscaping, and electrician as well. I had a big repair job that was beyond the abilities of my regular plumber, and I'm glad I found these guys. I had a drain slab leak in my bathroom. I called several places and they all said to tear up the slab. Then John visited and offered a more creative solution. He suggested an external reroute of the drain that would fix the problem and also fix a separate slow drain on the tub in a neighboring bathroom - I was able to avoid a messy tear up of my house. Called this morning for plugged up toilet and the lady said they be here between 1:00 & 2:00. Mr Chiu arrived at 1:15 and went to work. In a short time the problem had been solved. Pure water takes the toilet water and grey water and they remove the solids then filter the water with reverse osmosis and use filters to remove contamination. We had a toilet tank that stopped filling late on a Sunday night and I actually called another 24/7 plumbing business based in Glendale first, and the other company's answering service took my contact info and said they'd call us back then come out early in the morning but I never heard from them again. David's Plumbing was my backup and they provided the option to send someone out in the middle of the night, but my toilet tank was refilling slowly so I scheduled service for 10am-12 the next morning. The plumber contacted us when he was on the way then showed up after 10am. Our toilet doesn't have a common refill valve and he was able to fit another valve to the tank and get it working again. It's actually flushing and refilling faster than it ever has. We'll probably reach out to this company for an installation when we replace the toilet.

Nick installed a new water heater, but still could not get our hot water to turn on. We live in a condo and the electrician that our property manager had scheduled to come out and check the wiring was not able to make it. We were told it would be a few days until he would be able to come out. On Thanksgiving week! We really didn't want to go another day without getting hot water. Nick took it upon himself to bring in his trusted electrician. It took them most of the day but Nick refused to leave until he took care of the problem. I called them at 9pm and they were able to send someone in the morning by 9am( I chose to not do the emergency night fix).
