The biscuit was overcooked, and the hash browns that came with the sandwich were both overcooked and a pretty small portion. Overall, the food was just okay. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I felt the prices were a little high for what we received. The specialty lattes were over $9 each, which felt a bit steep. That said, the atmosphere was perfect for a beach coffee stop, and the exceptional customer service made a lasting impression. If they can elevate the food to match the service, this place would be a home run.

Walking in to their new location today, I will not support them any longer. I had my 2 pound puppy in my arms to order a coffee to go and was treated like an inconvenience. On Google, it shows as Dogs Allowed and I was very rudely told to sit outside and wait. It was not handled in a friendly way either. I wish I would have cancelled my order and left but I was shocked, apologized and went outside to wait as I was told. I can absolutely respect and understand if dogs were not welcome. She is a teeny 2 pound, 12 week puppy that was nestled in my arms deep asleep. Outside of the puppy thing, the owners did not feel welcoming or kind, I absolutely felt like I was asking them a huge favor to make a coffee to go and was an inconvenience. Not the local vibe that our area needs. I will make the extra drive to Thirty A Coffee that is always welcoming and kind.
