The service was so friendly. Our server Maddie knew the entire menu and treated us fantastically. They added a gluten free and vegan menu. For Lil old homosassa....wow. the pierogis were delicious with perfectly roasted veggies. We also had the Mahi and wahoo fish dip. Some people did not enjoy it, but its a classic fish dip and I thought it was fresh. I had the chicken BLT and I loved it. Gourmet sandwhich. I tasted the parmesano shrimp and the fish. Holy Moly it was delicious, flakey and buttery. We definitely would recommend this. Its not a fancy place, its easy and casual but so delicious. Next time hopefully we can enjoy sitting out back.

We live close and visited here a bunch the first 2 years we moved to Ocala and have visited less and less since then. In their defense, many times the bartenders were busy attending to patrons or making drinks. However, there were several times some bartenders were just talking to friends or messing around. The drinks here are super detailed so they take some time and TLC. I will say, most times our drinks taste delicious and the presentations are magnificent! The decor is so cozy and the ambiance is consistent. Hubs and I absolutely love Tiki themed bars and fell in love with Hawaii after our visit years ago so this place is perfect for us. We also like this place because they are open later than most places in town. We recently visited for a nightcap and it was definitely different. I recently had referred someone here because she was looking for Hawaii themed food (they used to serve food) and she informed me they did not serve food. That sucks because we always meant to try it but never did. Looked good. When we recently visited, they did not have physical menus and were referred to QR code cards on the bar. Our bartender was attentive and helpful with choosing a drink during our recent visit. He actually went out of his way to make the orange peel twist in a perfect manner. I appreciated that! I was going to suggest to hubs we have another drink and then a roach crawled across the bar. I discreetly informed the bartender of the dead roach I killed when we closed out and he took it away. The inside is extremely clean and the outdoor patio has great waterfront (queue the name) views. Our drinks were cold, and my watermelon margarita was sweet. As someone who actively seeks out tiki bars wherever I travel just so I can experience and review them, i can say they nailed the ambiance. The cocktails were well crafted but leaned much heavier on warm baking spices than my personal preference and I tried quite a few. I tend to prefer creamier, fruit forward tiki drinks with just ahint of spice, so while they werent my favorite style, thats a matter of taste rather than quality. The person i visited with loved their drink, which reinforces my previous comments. The real surprise of the evening was the food. it was outstanding, far better than i expected from a tiki lounge. The dish was flavorful, well prepared and easily worth the visit on its own. Overall, the experience delivered exactly what a great tiki bar should, an incredible atmosphere, quality drinks, and good food.
