We loved this environment for a Saturday lunch, beachy & lively, yet relaxing too. Nice fans to keep us cool in this June heat. My girls had two 2 different sushi rolls which were "the best ever". My fish tacos were ok, maybe 4/5, but the pina colada was amazing, real coconut, not the over-flavored fake that seems to be common in other establishments. The scenery was beautiful, I loved the live music and the lake was pretty as well. I was disappointed the Blue Crab was just crab cakes and the waitress didn't know if it was synthetic or fresh which made me extremely disappointed and not want to waste the money on it. The wait time to get a table wasn't to long only 15min. They seemed to have a really nice playground for the kids but the music that was playing right next to it didn't seem very kid friendly at all. Tiffany was our waitress, she was nice, to me but barely ever saw her. A gentleman was bringing our starter and food before getting our drinks or refills so 5 stars to him. The price for the food was ridiculous for 4 people and I only got a side salad. I've never been to a restaurant that charges almost $4 per SODA?!? It wasn't worth all the hype. The Gator Bites were Very Disappointing. I got better gator bites at OceanFront Restaurant, WaterFront Restaurant & Crabby's in Tampa than this place. read more

This was a very enjoyable dining experience. The outdoor seating was very nice and relaxing. We saw a pod of manatees swimming close by. The food was good - not exceptional - but good. My only negative concern was the demeanor of the staff. It didn't seem like they enjoyed being there and we felt like we were a necessary nuisance. I absolutely loved visiting Crump's with my family! When we arrived, we put our name on the waitlist and they told us it would be about 30 minutes for a table. While waiting, we made our way to one of the bars to order some drinks and the bartender was super friendly and ready to make some drinks for us. Since it was such a beautiful day outside, we all went with tropical drinks and then hung out near the beach area and took some photos which was fun! When our table was ready, we were seated at a high top table near the deck and our server was quick to come over to check in with us. She gave some recommendations to try their sushi since they were recently added to the menu. My mom and hubby ordered some of the sushi and then I ordered the shrimp tacos and a side of hush puppies. My dad ordered the bang bang shrimp. When our food came out, we were hungry and each of us shared what we had with one another so I can say that everything was good and fresh. I really liked the hushpuppies and should have ordered more, but what we had was just right. The shrimp tacos were so flavorful and the toppings were crispy and delicious. The bathrooms were actually super clean and look to be newly renovated. There is even a gift shop where you can get some silly/cute gifts of t-shirts if that's your thing. The atmosphere at Crump's is seriously so fun and I can see this place being the place to be during the summer season. I can't wait to go back for another visit! read more

Great place on the water in Homosassa! This is a huge venue with lots of seating areas and places for group gatherings. You can come by car or by boat and seems like it would be a great place to waste away an afternoon. Our server/bartender Marco was great. The drink and food service was prompt, and they were great about clearing plates before the birds got to them. You are on the water so there are lots of birds. The Peel and Eat Shrimp were excellent. The rest of the food which included Chili Fries, Chowder and Shrimp Tacos is pretty much what you would expect. read more

We went here to enjoy the sunshine and the water views after the pool at our hotel was closed for the day. We were seated at the restaurant but since we didn't plan on eating we ordered drinks and sat on the Adirondack chairs in the sand. We had both alcoholic drinks and mocktails that were delicious. Stopped by with a few friends for lunch yesterday. The grounds and atmosphere are great each part of the grounds had a different vibe. Under the big tiki hut was more families and people with dogs hanging out. By the water were boat goers in the sand tables and then by the water tables were more adult only tables which was quieter and in my opinion the best seats in the house. We had a table right by the water which was awesome the only thing that was bothersome was the bugs especially bees. The drinks were kicking and delicious. The food was sadly disappointing very bland and lackluster. I would recommend going for drinks and sharing a few appetizers. I was disappointed in the bar service at the main bar, forcing people to stand in a line where there is no signage to order a drink... put a sign up if you want people to form a line for drinks... bartenders were not making eye contact with patrons to serve drinks. Food and service is ok. Nachos were very good. But whatever you do, DON'T get water or tea or any of the cocktails with ice. The water tasted like they dipped the cup in the canal. I got a margarita and it tasted like the nasty water too. I'm assuming it was the ice. I mean it was so bad I couldn't even sip it. We each ordered a different meal and all was delicious - fried calamari, clam strips, onion rings, clams and pasta. They have an extensive draft beer menu as well and lots of cocktail choices. It's basically all outdoors but there's a covered patio area with tons of heaters so even though we came on a chilly (50 ish degrees) night it wasn't overly cold, only when the wind blew through. It was decently busy so we waited about thirty minutes but you can walk on the docks and there's a playground for the kiddos to enjoy while waiting which my nephew took full advantage of. Once we were seated service was quick. They have Coke products which is always a win for us, and drink refills were prompt. I ordered the seafood mac & cheese with garlic bread. It was warm and solidly good. Needed a lot more seafood for the price imo so I only ate about half of it because I ran out of lobster & crawfish. Nibbled on other people's fries, which were well cooked, and got some amaaaaazing jalepeno ranch to dip them in. It had a bit of a kick and I LOVED it. My family had only good things to say about their meals as well, except my dad who got black bean soup that was basically a puree and had no actual black beans in it. But that was the only real disappointing part. Mom got the s'mores lava cake for dessert and was obsessed. It does need a good scoop of vanilla ice cream! A group of friends decided this was our spot for the monthly luncheon because a few had never been to it, and it proved to be a hit. Eating outdoors with a gentle breeze from the water made it a very enjoyable experience. Our waitress Maddie was terrific with our party of 9, juggling multiple requests with no problem. Most of the group chose shrimp dishes, and I chose the shrimp tacos with chips and salsa. Everyone enjoyed their meal and also said the house chips were good. The restaurant was damaged by Hurricane Idalia and is now repaired and looks better than ever. I definitely recommend checking it out. read more
