Just stopped in for a couple drinks! Bartender was super great. For 3 in the afternoon the place is packed!!! The Shed is right off the pedestrian walk and it is super cute. I was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender who finished his current drink and made mine in a flash. Clean comfy bar top and stools, with a lovely patio area to enjoy the foot traffic. Kitchen is open and visibly clean. I ordered the chicken pita appetizer - super fresh ingredients, though the veg (chunks of cucumber, onion, and yellow bell pepper) was raw so extra crunchy. Light on the taziki sauce, which I like but some wouldn't, but lots of meat (yum, but kinda bland). Definitely a chill local hangout. A child just ran up and took the stool from next to me to take to his table, so I guess the bartop isn't the popular seat! Cool little place. Visited 3 times in 3 days to get out of shopping with the wife and crush a couple beers. Managed to get the family in a couple of the times for some food and more beers. Not good is a gross understatement. I gave this place 1 star because 0 was not an option. I went with a crew and was DD so not drinking, the clown serving us pestered me about not drinking until I finally said I would try one. He then had the audacity to bring it in a shot glass "for me to nurse". Beer was trash and service was even worse. I'd starve to death before I ever set foot in this place again. read more

A perfectly chill and inviting place for beer drinking, tummy filling and hanging with family and friends. We visited The Shed on a Saturday afternoon with two kids 10 & 16. We loved the rustic decor and enjoyed the overall feel of this place. We ordered and then devoured the Nachos with Pork Carnitas. Yum! The Cheesy Tots left us wanting more. So we went back, tried the Davis Hasselhoff Loaded Potatoes and the wings. Oh my goodness were they delicious! I did catch a glimpse of the giant Calzones at the table next to us, will have to go back to try them next time. Small but good beer selection on tap. This is a great chill place for a quick bite and some drinks. The menu for food is small but they do have a decent selection of cocktails and beers. The decor here is very rustic and organic. For food, the Shed Bread for starter was absolutely delicious! It's freshly baked bread with sautéed onions and mozzarella cheese, served with a very nice smashed tomato sauce. The pita souvlaki with chicken was big and on point for only $7 on Mondays. Their baked potatoes are LOADED! A must try. Four of us went here for drinks and snacks. It was positive on many levels. I liked the ambience, and the staff were first rate. Perhaps best of all was the food. All of the food is made from scratch. We tried a few things - chile, the meat pie dinner and the calzone. All were first rate. The pastry was beautifully done. This will be a go to place. Chill AF but friendly enthusiastic staff too. John the bartender is very knowledgeable and actually ran out to get orange marmalade so he could make me a special drink. How nice is that? Best patio in the Platzl! They have a great service, local beer, good nachos and some art exhibition once in a while. Make sure to go early Thursday to Saturday night because you might have to wait to get seated. It's a local favorite! read more
