I live in Irvine so when I'm in the area I like to stop in. Today I was here with a friend. Looked like the owner was there. She didn't greet us. She only spoke to my friend who asked where a mirror was. I was thinking of purchasing a sweatshirt but with the lack of guest service I decided not to today. In my opinion everyone who walks through the door should be greeted. These days it seems to be unless you buy something there's no service. I like the brands that the store carries as well as their branded merchandise. Maybe I'll try again next time I'm Laguna. read more

We bought my wife some clothes here for a photo session and weren't sure which we wanted to we asked if we could return the clothes later. The sales rep said no problem as long as it was within 2 weeks. When my wife went to return the clothes she didn't end up liking they refused to refund us and only offered store credit. Poor business practices and shady customer service. Would not recommend this place. read more

Went to look for a dress and heard good things about this place. When I walked in there was only one other person and 3 girls working. No one said hi to me, asked me if I needed help or anything. I actually saw a couple cute dresses that I wanted to buy but was so turned off by the customer service I left and bought one somewhere else close by. This shop kind of reminded me of The Pretty Woman movie where Julia Roberts gets treated like crap but also went with money to spend and then went to another place to spend her thousands of dollars. There's plenty of other clothing shops in Laguna so do your research. read more

Shop Laguna is my favorite store in Laguna Beach for many reasons. 1) They have excellent staff, very friendly and helpful which I find to be rare...they where interacting with customers, offering suggestions and just overall friendly. (Typically in the tiny boutique stores employee's hide behind the counter checking their phones or have a snobby attitude) Not the case here, these girls are awesome! 2) The brands are well chosen for the area and they carry cooler hard to find labels like the faithful brand and Lack of Color USA hats. Everything is merchandised beautifully and the store is kept very maintained. 3) the prices range $$-$$$ but you get great brands, so it's worth it! Agree with prior reviews regarding customer service. I bought a bathing suit which I tried on in the store with my undergarments so did not realize that it was very see through until I got home. I went back to the store and explained the situation. All tags were attached and suit was unworn and they refused to let me exchange it for something else. In addition, I just had a baby so it was already difficult enough for me to get there and find a swimsuit that fits. I understand their policies but I am very disappointed. I was hoping they would be a little more understanding and show some compassion. $200 down the drain. I will no longer be shopping here anymore. read more

A superbly curated collection! The detail that goes into this shop is incredible. The owner, Jess, contacted me after reading my review. She seemed extremely sincere. She explained that their bikinis sell like crazy from their online store and IG. She then apologized and offered me a FREE bikini! (How generous!) Jess's explanations for the swimsuits being scarce makes sense. Plus, I did see that there were shipment boxes that had arrived that day. I'm going to assume that there was more swimwear in them. I'm not going to be in town until a few months from now, but I would like to remedy my review for now. The Shop was beautiful and spotless. It had a range of different type of clothes to complete that "beachy chic" look that everyone has been dying to acquire this summer. And most importantly, it had a view of the ocean! I found this gem via Instagram and I had to find it the next time I came to Laguna. I was greeted by all three associates with genuine smiles on their faces--finally, people who actually like their job! I love the way the store is merchandised; exquisite clothing and swimsuits delicately placed! As soon as I picked something up, a sales associate put it in a room for me and actually remembered my name after only asking once! Major points for that. Awesome that they have Levi's, but most of their selection looks pretty basic. When I walked in they were discussing issues with inventory. They had suspected someone stole or there was a miscount. Once I closed the curtain to the changing room one of the girls was standing outside my curtain literally the entire time I was trying on clothes. As soon as I was done and opened the curtain she was WAY too close. I would understand if she were trying to assist me but I was not offered assistance for a change in size or anything once I went into the fitting room, so why hover? If I wasn't desperate to find something for an event I was headed to, I would of never bought the over priced top. read more

Such a well curated an inviting store. Staff was extremely friendly and while we did a lot of boutique shopping- the service here set the bar high. Unfortunately I wasn't lucky in finding anything special to take home- but I'll be back anytime I'm in Laguna.
