The staff was friendly yet professional, but they will talk and hangout with you as long as they aren't busy. It created a relaxed and comfortable environment. The ride was smooth and incredibly peaceful, with amazing views. Once you reach the top, there is a large place to hangout, play games, or just sit in one of the many chairs or swings and take in the view. You can spend as much or as little time as you want at the top, which was so nice! Also, the restrooms are clean and they offered us cold waters and a Moon Pie. For young kids, I'd probably tether the child's tube to yours. Our two kids, 7 and 9, did fine. But, we had to make sure they rode the tubes correctly. Cowboy Tubin's prices are less than competitors by $5/pp and the run is slightly longer. They have very clean indoor changing rooms and bathrooms. Much nicer than some other places. Dennis welcomed my wife and I as soon as we walked in the door and after I explained my situation and target types of waters he took me straight to the perfect affordable setup. He expertly answered my questions and refrained from trying to upsell me to the readily available much more expensive options. Once we'd made our choices he left us to wander the store browsing. In the end I walked out with a nice rod and reel combo, a few extra leads and tippets and a big smile on my face. If you a tired of the big stores where they treat you more like money bags than fellow anglers, check out Little River Outfitters. I'm so excited about camp this is the only one I've ever been to(except church camp) and I don't want to go to any other camp than camp ba yo ca (camp baptist youth camp) the only things I disliked was... -we were making a movie and I paid for repelling as an extra and I missed making the ending of our movie yeah that's it like i told you amazing camp Pointers -don't go on the blob it hurts -if you like repelling just fyi it is a good incline mile hike to get to your repelling spot - bring good shoes -don't plan to take a long shower -you WILL be sleeping and a wooden platform for one night (I LOVED this night) -take the bus it is a good way to make friends before you even get there My last words CAMP BA YO CA 4EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -me P.S. camp counselor Rosey is the best!!!

Lt me first start by saying, I had a great time with our churches during our visit. But there are…read moresome thing's that really need to be looked into. First off, no cell service. While I know that is basically out of there hands, there is also no telephones in the buildings. Second, very difficult to find a camp leader/director when you need one. Those two things together isn't a good combo. Luckily we didn't have an emergency although we did have a scare as someone feel out of one of the top bunks during the night. The other thing is that the beds need brackets, ALL beds. First night + horrible bed = no sleep. I understand I'm not staying in a hotel but, adding brackets wouldn't be very difficult to do. A bed with no brackets means your head and feet are in the air while the rest is sunk in, similar to a taco. Other than those things, it's an overall beautiful place with many different things to do. It is a very large area that has multiple things spread out from each other. This is why we felt a telephone was needed. No outside contact.
