Nice clubhouse and restaurant but the greens/tee boxes were terrible for almost 50 dollars it was a complete ripoff.

We played today and the course was not well maintained at all and gnats were everywhere. Play was super slow from a lot of occasional golfers that did not yell fore and almost took us out. I love golfing here. The scenery is so beautiful and there are lots of places for shade so if it's hot you're not stuck out in the sun. I'm not great at golf so to me this course is pretty challenging. It's off the beaten path but not so much that it's hard to find. There is a great little gold community around it and we've never been stuck behind anyone while playing. I like that it's not a crowded place. Even if someone is with you just riding along, they can at least enjoy how beautiful the area is. read more

While spending a week in the area, we brought along our golf clubs and decided to give this location a try. We are so so happy we did. Probably one of the best if not the best thing we did on vacation. This is a beautiful golf course and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots and lots of beautiful scenery and we had a couple of wild turkeys that tried to join our game. We will definitely play here again when in the area. read more

My son and I played this course on July 22 and we really enjoyed it. The setting, being at base of the Smoky Mountains is absolutely beautiful and the course is not crowded at all. The wet weather make it challenging to keep the course in perfect condition and I am sure that a frw avid golfers may be critical of the length of grass in a few of the fairways but overall, the course is very enjoyable. The cost is low, as is the traffic so be sure to stop and play Wild Laurel while in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Townsend, TN area and be sure to have enough time to grab a beer and sandwich at the clubhouse when finished. You wont be disappointed! read more

Beautiful course with a fun layout. Affordable food and drinks at the club house. Would highly recommend.

Our absolute favorite place in Townsend to eat, drink, and hang out. Such a hidden gem. Incredible views of the mountains and wonderful staff. The rich mountain (roast beef and horsey sauce) is our favorite sandwich and bearded iris is favorite beer. The club sandwich is also delicious. read more

For the cost of this course it definitely is a 5 star. Very scenic saw lots of turkeys and dear there was a bear looming around but we never saw it. This course could be challenging it your not consistent with your tee shot. read more

Do not play this course. Green were like putting on Velcro with a tennis ball. Bought 2 hotdogs and I thought they were rubber.$87 for me and my son, played Palmer National for less. The reviews were 4.9 out of 5 No WAY!!! read more

The staff in pro shop were friendly and helpful. Clubhouse has been remodeled since the last time I was at this course and the clubhouse and food were great. The course still needs some work. The only way you can find your ball in the rough is if you step on it. Also, the fairways have gotten tighter so it looks like they have cut back on the mowing. The greens had black patches in places and need some work. The course was in better shape last year. The setting is wonderful but they need to do some course maintenance to make this a first class place. read more
