We got there hours before they were going to close, and there was only a couple of other people walking around, and then it was just us. We walked around for about 20 or 30 minutes or so and not once did anybody ask us if we needed any help. The part that makes it so bad was, one of the salespeople looked right at us and saw that we were waiting for help, and she just turned around and went the other way. So we just left, and no one said anything to us. I don't recommend this store to anyone who needs help with details.

The condo was beautiful, except for the scary clown artwork. The condo seems to be a new build, with great appliances. The beds were comfortable and the condo was clean. Communication with Simple Life was good. I received several emails with instructions for check in, garbage service, and check out. The condo is centrally located in Door County. The indoor pool is nice but they seemed to be making improvements to the outdoor pool, which was closed. It claimed to have a fitness center but it only had 4 pieces of equipment. The only negative things I can say about the condo was that is wasn't stocked with many necessities. I would suggest bringing your own towels. We were given 6 for 7 people. We couldn't find any dish towels. They had plenty of dinnerware but the coffee cups were tiny( more like espresso cups, so bring your own). There is a limited amount of serving dishes. We were given two dishwasher pods and laundry pods( once again, bring your own) and one roll of paper towels. There's no Kleenex provided. So while the place is lovely, just know that you will have to bring in some items. And the previous guests left there garbage in the garage. I communicated this to Simple Life and they responded immediately. I didn't want to be blamed for that. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, centrally located condo. We would stay again and use Simple Life in the future.

Today the tree selection was very good but the customer service from the lady running the shop was very disrespectful. I in no means discount or disrespect people's feelings on the current health crisis but since we did not bring masks with us and some of us don't wear them for health reasons we were treated like we were not welcome and told we should shop somewhere else. Had she just explained that they require the masks with no exceptions indoors politely and respectfully, I would have no problem and we would have stayed outdoors. This is a family tradition that started when my kids were little. Besides picking out and cutting…read moreyour own tree; Santa is there, they have hot chocolate, cute cut outs for kids to put their face in for pictures and, when you've cut the perfect tree you can catch a ride back by horse drawn wagon, Thomas the Train and others. They have a beautiful selection of ornaments, wreaths, precut tress and the staff is friendly and helpful. They will shake and bale your tree for free and if you have a spike stand, they will drill trunk for free as well. Even though our kids are grown and moved to their own homes, my husband and I still go here and cut a tree every year, the trees this year are exceptional. The only difference now is we go during the week to avoid the crowds. They make the tree experience all about families here and because there is so much for the kids it is quite busy on the weekends so you can expect to wait to pay for things as well as seeing Santa or some of the other experiences , but it is well worth it. Also, be respectful and leave your dogs at home, they have horses that could be spooked by them.
