My friend and I decided to try Zinger Coffee and Tea for the first time and we were highly impressed. Zinger Coffee and Tea is a tiny little building which is only drive thru operated. They have a decent size menu that offers multiple different coffee choices, tea choices, smoothie choices and even some pastry items. Every month, they have featured specials which do not disappoint. The Firecracker drink is deliciously awesome. You can also get the coffee hot, iced or blended. Lastly, the workers are friendly and really good at their jobs. Road trips are the best and one of the best things about road trips is when you get to check out small local businesses elsewhere. We stopped in for an iced americano for me and a scone for the wife. The coffee helped keep me alert and my wife was nice enough to let me have a bite of the scone it was good and tasty. I do not remember for sure but I think they said they do their own baking. The last time I saw drive thru coffee huts was in Oregon, so was glad to see the trend continued in UP. Sure you could go to Starbucks, but why do that when you have other local options. Save Starbucks for when that is the only option. If you are lucky enough to have many drive thru coffee huts to choose from, try them all, and find your favorite. read more

I visited Zinger Coffee & Tea for the first time this morning. It didn't take long to realize that the plethora of positive reviews were all justified! For being a small, drive-thru operation only, they have a robust variety of coffee drinks and teas available. I opted for a latte with an extra shot and asked the barista what she recommended. I don't recall the name, but she described it as a sugar cookie type flavor. I received my order quickly. It was hot (but drinkable), delicious, and handed to me with a smile at a much lower price than national chain coffee shops. You can't beat that! This place is a gem! read more

I am not local to this area, but found Zinger after discovering the Marinette/Menominee area devoid of Starbucks. Zinger is a small drive-through kiosk that is definitely worth a drive by. Coffee was good, service was friendly, and the prices better than Starbucks. read more

The coffee here is outstanding! We were so glad we stopped here on our trip around Lake Michigan. So much better than Starbucks.

Delicious! I'm here visiting family and it's nice to be able to get my Soy Chai Latte fix. I've tried other coffee places in the area and they don't offer chai or soy milk so I'm very grateful I found them on Yelp! The service is always great and the baristas so friendly. This is a cute little drive-thru coffee/tea place. It was staffed by a cute older man (owner?). I ordered a large Caffe Latte with soy. I didn't realize they charged $1.00 for soy until after I ordered! Oy! (I no longer drink cow's milk. Even S'bux usually waives the .60 charge..) It was just "alright" - very bitter-tasting - and sadly not even filled to the top of the cup. I'm not convinced it was worth the $5 price tag, but I was in dire need of caffeine for my 6 hour drive. read more

Holy moly! I've tried a lot of coffee in a lot of different places, and this is one of the best. To be honest, I did not have crazy high expectations, given the humble and homely looks of the place. But the guy working the story made my iced soy mocha in a hurry and the drink was fantastic. It's really rare to get something where both the chocolate and the coffee pop so much at the same time.
