Some stores have been around forever like the health/organic food store called Martindale's and the Famous Footwear. Parking got markedly worse when the Outback Steakhouse moved in and worse yet once they started opening for lunch. The Springfield post office is here as well. Parking is the biggest challenge here but there is plenty of variety.

Now you must exit each store out into the cold or bad elements or summer heat to visit another. You might as well go downtown and shop on Market or Chestnut because this shopping area is no longer a destination. Formerly ,I got my one stop shopping done here about eight times a year but Because of the new configuration I've only been here twice since it opened. I'll never brave the elements in under 50 degree weather so that eliminates Thanksgiving through St Patrick's Day I'll not be shopping here. Who wants to run store to store or to the car in a rainstorm? And I know many people who feel the same way so in some cases they have lost a lot of business from those with disposable income. But it's a new day and someone probably got a promotion to executive Vice President for this good ( NOT!) idea. This place is pretty but if this was an attempt to compete with online shopping, it's a fail. Now 5 months a year I'll be taking the e-commerce route versus shopping here. Giving it 3 stars because its newer, pretty and clean.

I only go once in a while to visit Boscovs as it holds a lot of memories for me. I also love to shop at Ollie's across the street. I also used to go to the AMC before the riffraff tore it up. Sad to see what my favorite mall has become. I used to work at Chick FIL A there and used to date a gal who worked at Boscovs. Lol good times.

Half of the stores are empty, there's an enormous Fashion Bug, like 18 dollar stores, and a uniform store. Oh and the nastiest K-Mart ever. Seriously, this must be government subsidized because it's always empty and never staffed. The video game store is horrible and will likely close soon (if it hasn't already) and even the restaurant, Italian Delight, left and opened up across the street. Oh, and the arcade and movie theatre of my youth are now gone.

Don't bother. It only got one star because you can't give zero…read more The mall is deserted, I don't think there is a single open store. Apart from Kmart or Acme, there's no reason to go there. In 2007 they did film some scenes for the upcoming movie 'Lovely Bones' , but I think all the sets have been dismantled, so it's not even worth a visit to see a movie set. I'd be very suprised if the place isn't torn down in the next few years.

There is a hallway pass-through located in the corner of the L, between K&G and Carter's. The hallway used to smell like urine, but was repainted about a year ago, and is much nicer. It is all well-lit, but sometimes people hang out in there, and it can be sketchy. It still beats the craziness in the front lot, so I now park in back every time! This shopping center features mainly big anchor stores like Walmart, Old Navy, AMC 10 Theaters, Marshall's, PetSmart, Jo-Ann's, DSW, Burlington, etc. They also have Sally Beauty, Sleepy's, Bath & Body Works, Five Below, Jenny Craig, Dress Barn, and GameStop. There are some mom-n-pop stores in amidst the giants, like a kid's store, two hairdressers, etc. There are not many restaurant options, just a bagel place, salad place, Subway, and a Mexican place. This is a big Septa bus destination, which brings huge crowds, particularly on the weekends. Parking is also totally crowded, and drivers are miserable. The most recent renovation (a while ago at this point) changed the lot, so you are forced to the left or right when you enter at the front, and then funneled down lanes other than where you really want to go. It is a total mess, and causes a lot of road rage. Again, this is why I park in back. Anyone remember when Circuit City and Filene's were here? Or that basement discount store that got replaced by Jo-Ann's? I've been shopping at this place for many years! I think Marshall's is the only store that's been here forever, since the 80s.

A mishmash of stores is probably the best description of this grouping. Staples, Empire Beauty School and the new Verizon store that got upgraded from across the street are the anchor stores. The parking lot is full of speed bumps to prevent cut through traffic. Due to the strange configuration, you have to enter at the light on Rte 320 near Staples and do the hairpin turn to get to most of the stores.
