They have tons of things, things that you knew about and want and things that you didn't know existed and now need. They have Japanese snacks and a limited amount of groceries, mostly drinks and ramen. They have a selection of Japanese pens! I bought one. Can't pass up a Japanese pen. Large store, well-lit. One employee to man the register, she was friendly. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. I bought a few things for a small gift basket that included some of the things I mentioned above. An $8 individual ceramic hot pot type bowl that you can heat directly on your stovetop. It had a beautiful cherry blossom design. I also got a chopsticks set, and bamboo hot pad for setting hot pots or pans on. The cashier was kind enough to open the box for me so I could inspect the hot pots for damage. As other people have mentioned, it's like an Asian version of our dollar tree store, only Daiso prices range from $2.25-$18. It's very organized and clean. They have so much variety from toys, to stationary, gardening items, organizing items, laundry items and so much more. It's definitely worth a visit to browse everything they have to offer.

There's A Home Goods too but not sure that's an actual anchor store. It's a beautiful mall to walk around and shop. Lots of smaller stores many of which I had never heard of. A smaller food court compared to most malls. For there only being 3 days until Christmas I was shocked at how dead it was. We had pictures with Santa at 12pm and I got there early as I anticipated a full parking lot. But nope no issues parking. Found Santa right away in the middle of The mall by JCPenney. That truly is a beautiful set that he's in. He's also a good looking Santa! We didn't stop in or purchase anything in the stores, although we did walk thru Round 1 which was a cool arcade / small bowling venue. Lots of empty stores. . The center elevator was also out of order. So you I'd be nice to see a restaurant in here and eventually attend the Mammoth hockey practice arena to watch them practice. Also a Mammoth or Jazz souvenir shop would be really ideal.

This is about the taylorsville Location…read more I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at the Taylorsville store today. I stopped in with a backpack that I had purchased from another location because I found the exact same model in a color I actually wanted. I had my receipt, the backpack was in like-new condition, and I was simply trying to complete a straightforward exchange. Instead, I was told that I could not exchange the bag because of a missing accessory that the backpack never came with in the first place. After being refused service, I contacted the American Fork store where the backpack was originally purchased. They immediately informed me that there should have been no issue handling the exchange and apologized for the situation. Because the Taylorsville store refused to help, I was forced to drive nearly 40 minutes to American Fork just to complete a return that should have been handled at the location I was standing in. What should have been a five-minute transaction turned into well over an hour and a half of driving, wasted gas, and completely unnecessary inconvenience because employees at the Taylorsville store either did not understand their own policies or simply chose not to help. The behavior of the manager, who I believe was named Jennifer, only made the situation worse. From the moment I walked in, I felt judged and treated as though I had done something wrong. She repeatedly looked my girlfriend and me up and down and carried herself with an attitude that was dismissive, confrontational, and unprofessional. Rather than attempting to help resolve the issue, I was made to feel like a problem the moment I entered the store. What happened next was even more unacceptable. After making the unnecessary trip to American Fork and obtaining store credit, I returned to the Taylorsville location to purchase the backpack I originally wanted. The moment I walked through the door, I was immediately approached and questioned again. Before I could even explain why I was there, employees were discussing me over their radios. I could hear Jennifer talking about how I could not return items and questioning whether pieces were missing. At that point I felt like I was being treated as a thief, a scammer, or someone attempting to do something dishonest despite having receipts, documentation, and following every instruction that had been given to me. No customer should be made to feel attacked, singled out, or publicly scrutinized simply for trying to exchange or purchase merchandise. I felt targeted from the moment I entered the store. Based on the way I was approached, watched, questioned, and discussed over the radio, I cannot ignore the feeling that my appearance, alternative style, and skin color played a role in how I was treated. Whether intentional or not, the experience felt like profiling and discrimination rather than customer service. To make matters even worse, the store credit card issued by the American Fork location did not work. Instead of fixing the issue, I was told I would have to drive all the way back to American Fork yet again. By this point, your company's mistakes had already cost me significant time, fuel, and frustration, and now I was being told to make another unnecessary trip because nobody could resolve the problem at the Taylorsville location. I have never experienced customer service this hostile, accusatory, and unprofessional over something as simple as exchanging a backpack. What should have been a routine transaction became an exhausting ordeal that consumed hours of my day because of poor communication, poor management, and a complete lack of respect for a paying customer. I expect this incident to be investigated, I expect management to be held accountable, and I expect to be contacted regarding how your company intends to address the time, expense, and treatment I was subjected to. The store has changed but is still one of my favorites to visit both in person and online. This location is in a busy shopping plaza and is always fun to stop in and see what new items they have. Most of their products are geared towards people who enjoy the outdoors. They have a large area for pet supplies and toys which I love to frequent. I also usually find some other great deals throughout the store. Great place to browse and find outdoor gear from previous seasons at a discounted price.

Nothing stays the same but change…read more This shopping center was going through changes before the pandemic hit us. Gone are the mom and pop shops, but instead you have chains, and more chains. Most everything is here banking, restaurants, clothing, exercising, entertainment, even a bar. Lots of empty buildings. Shopco has closed its doors, but it looks like Target will be taking its place. Gone are a lot of businesses so the plaza has an empty feel to it. One nice thing it is close to the 215 freeway entrance/exit. We'll see how things progress during, and after the covid 19 goes away.

The Dan's employees line up their cars and give out candy and donuts, and all the other businesses decorate and give out candy... so awesome! The entire center is very clean, kid friendly, and there's definitely enough parking, even during events. The Commons does nothing to change that with its minimal number of identifying signs and directory maps, labyrinth road and confusing parking, as well as its "outdoor mall" layout. My one minor issue is as you walk from store-to-store and on the sidewalk, there aren't side-awning signs. For some stores, this means peering inside or walking into the street to see what store it is. The stores are The Commons biggest selling point. There are plenty of restaurants: Mikado, Five Guys, Chipotle, Slapfish, Rumbi, Pei Wei, Paradise, Wild Zucchini Grill, and Firehouse. There's a lot geared toward women: Alta, DSW, Nordstrom Rack, Seasons Boutique, a nail shop, a bridal store, and a Bed, Bath, and Beyond. There's a PGA Golf Store and a Sports Clips for the men to burn time. Overall, a nice place to spend a Saturday afternoon! :)
