A well designed outdoor shopping complex and this clean and filled with tons of restaurants. It's not large in comparison to other Dallas malls so therefore there are less places to shop. It's a good place if you can't decide what to eat, but most of the places are of the chain variety. read more

LOVE the Shops at Legacy! I remember way back when, 8yrs ago when it was kind of like a hidden gem. Now it's packed every weekend. If you want to avoid the crazy crowds, go during the week, and after lunch time. The Shops has expanded so much, so many restaurants, shops and residential choices. If I was young and single, I'd definitely want to live there! Some of our favorite eating spots are Mama Pita, Mi Cocina, Taco Diner, Main St Bakery, Capital Grill, Season's 52 and Fireside Pies. read more

Love coming here. Beautiful place. Great to walk or hangout on one of the restaurant patios. The lake is beautiful. Careful at night. The City of Plano has totally messed up and the sidewalk is messed up around the lake. I tripped on it and cracked my phone screen. $150.00 repair. No fun at all!!! Totally irresponsible of the City of Plano and Shops of Legacy. Good thing I'm not the suing type. I had a big bruise on my knee and hand. read more

The Shops is a fantastic place to go for a date night or out with friends. Wonderful restaurants, bars, shopping, and indie theater. Love that it is seperated into two different locations. Parking can be a pain at times. read more

An incredibly well planned retail and dining experience. We came here for Mama Pita and walked around during the holiday season. The lighting and decor is great, you can see why Plano is such a great place to settle down here. Nice crowd, very safe as they have plenty of security, and a great place the whole family can hang out. Just about every cuisine is represented through Legacy.. there is an upscale feel to the retail shops as more higher end designers are present. I can see this being the place to go to get out of the house and feel human for a while. read more

Pricey, high-end shopping and dining area in Plano. I've been coming to this area about 6 times a year for the last 20 years and remember when this place was just farmland. How it has grown and in my most recent visit, it's growing even more, now sprawling across the North Dallas Tollway with more hotels and shopping planned. (Surely a shrine to conspicuous consumption!) Plenty of places to dine here: steakhouses (Bob's Steak and Chop House, Capital Grille), sushi (Naan), barbeque (Jasper's), Asian fusion, Tex-Mex, and much more; and plenty of places to stay, from high-end (Marriott, Hilton) to more moderate (Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn (but still kind of expensive due to the location)). Great for people-watching as well -- it seems all the "beautiful people" populate this area. Be prepared for plenty of plastic-flashing: both the financial kind and the bust-enhancing kind! read more

Pretty good area in Plano. They have different restaurant in here and all of them taste pretty decent like kenny's smoke house, RA Sushi etc. They also have a decent night life for adult. If you are in college, is not your scene to be here at night. They also have some sports bar here as well, so not a bad idea to come here during NFL Sunday. read more

If you've got an afternoon or evening and like to shop this place would be great for that. There are tons of restaurants, shops and boutiques making it a dun place to explore. The parking was easy but I can imagine on a busy Friday night it light be a little busier but I had no trouble. I want to do a little more exploring and will take my girlfriends out here to do it. read more

Driving thru the shops of legacy is a nightmare and so is parking. I have to park in the very back of the parking lot.its just a hassle to get the place you want because you can't park in front of the place you want to go. read more

Smart urban planning by city and developer. We have watched this area grow and prosper since 1992 when we moved into the area. Great retail mix for nearby apartment residents and for a destination. And there is ample places to park your car; street or better yet during hot weather the free parking garages. Very pedestrian friendly so park your car and stroll around. Hang out on the street side tables to be seen and watch the passing parade. Nearby Marriott hotel for out-of-town visitors is very close to the heart of the area (Bishop Street). Right next to North Dallas Toll Road and south of Sam Rayburn (Hwy 121) intersection so easy to get to from surrounding counties. read more

The shops and area is nice. The parking situation ruins it, and they take up half the garages for valet that's not half full.

It's just so pretty and inviting! Great restaurants, pretty shops, easy parking and access from the highway (although a little construction on the main road). A fun area to be sure! read more

Probably one of the best places to have a great night out in plano. The shops has tons of restaurants and places to go with friends. Not only is the night life filled with plenty of people but local musicians play live music and offer a great night out. The scenery is also nice and makes a great walking environment. When I moved to Dallas last year from Los Angeles everyone recommended me to the Shops at Legacy for shopping. I lived about a mile from Rodeo and lived in the Miracle Mile for a few years so having high end dining and shopping at my fingertips was something I got used to. When I first came to the Shops at Legacy I was disappointed by a few things. First off I found parking to be a bit difficult. Someone had just been murdered and stuffed into their trunk a few months after I moved here at the Shops of Legacy and I noticed that in some parts the parking was very secluded and dark. Also, there was a lot of rowdy younger people running around. I understand that this is normal for shopping areas but when you are selling the high end shopping experience I would have expected a little bit of security and having kids running around chasing each other, running into patrons, and talking loudly with language that would embarrass Andrew Dice Clay turns people off. The shop selection was decent and the shops we did walk into had great employees. I know it may seem very elitist in my review but again when I compare the high class shopping experience I would expect a little bit more. read more

Nice selection of dining places and shoppes. Good atmosphere. Rated just 3 stars because of the difficulty in finding parking. Some restaurants have taken over spaces in the parking garages. We try to go for an early lunch on the weekends but will not go on Friday or Saturday evening due to the lack of parking. read more

I just can't stand how this retail establishment is planned. I have to purposefully avoid shopping here due to how inconvenient it is. There is absolutely no parking available anywhere near any of the shops or restaurants. I understand that they have garages, but who thought it was a good idea to make the garages impossible to get to? If you want to run in quickly to one of the shops that faces the legacy, you have to park in the garage behind the shopping center and then walk around THE ENTIRE length of the building to get there. Its hardly convenient for a quick stop. I'm pretty sure many of the business there, especially those who target the lunch crowd would do a lot better somewhere without a 15 minute walk from parking. Even the shopping center across on legacy figured this out and has little walkways from the parking garage to the shops so you can at least avoid walking all the way around the entire shopping center. There is also not enough parking. On a friday evening, there just aren't any spaces left, so we last time we had to leave. read more

I'm from California, but I stayed in Plano for a bit a few years back and I absolutely LOVED this place. It's stunning. The restaurants and bars are all amazing, as are the shops. There is nothing like this where I live and I need to come back and visit just so I can come back here and experience the beauty of this place. Loved it! read more
