Much more than a market, it has amazing amenities- all community centered, which should serve as a model for other cities. Meeting spaces for learning around healthy eating (with kitchens & demo islands!,), a beautiful greenhouse where weddings and conferences take place, ample sheltered outdoor seating & a great variety of top notch vendiors. One could shop for staples, sit down or take away meals, and a few home decor/kitchen items as well. I spent $$ I wasn't intending to on teas and a fabulous vinegar & am NOT SORRY ! Great Indian food for lunch and I took a few nice BIG samosas to go for later. Grand Rapids residents are lucky to have this place and visitors should not miss it!

When we went inside it seemed better but it was a bit pricier than most markets we've been too. There was a lot of different things but a lot were just sitting out and weren't covered where people could contaminate them. We bought a couple things but the majority of people we saw were just walking around and weren't purchasing much.

Directly next door are Target, Costco and hotel properties from both the Marriott and Hilton chains. There is a lot of parking! The plaza has multiple entrances including the one onto 28th street which features a traffic light and turn lanes. Easy access to the highway. They didn't have anything I was interested in that day, but it was fun to browse. Betteraged is mostly clothing, but I did see a crate of vintage records for $10 each. All of the clothes I saw were in good shape, although I thought some of the prices were a bit high. They had a lot of flannel, tons of jean jackets, and cardigans and sweaters galore. Plenty of great items for fall. I would be interested in coming back again to check out what they have in stock. If you're a vintage clothing enthusiast, I'd add this spot to your list. There's street parking available on Eastern or you can park in one of the paid lots on Wealthy.

Tons of Levi's and other brands, military garb, sweaters, t-shirts, jackets, coats, pants, etc. It was definitely a walk down memory lane for me (over 60). My daughter and I walked out with 90's leather jackets, very reasonably priced. The store was also very organized and easy to move through. They do have a changing room. Really nice guy working there today. Can't wait to go back!

What I found was a lot of sweaters, pants, and long sleeve shirts. Prices were high as well. The store is organized very well by color and size which makes it easy to look for certain pieces. The staff were friendly as well! If you're looking for season specific pieces or cheaper pricing this is not the place for you.

There is a decent size parking lot outside, and a very simple store front but when you walk into the blue sea and smiling staff welcome you. There are bathrooms throughout the facility that are well stocked, clean and taken care of. The selection of items varies as every thrift store does. You will definitely walk away with something when you stop here. Today is Wednesday and although the site says 6pm they are open until 8pm. They take cash, and credit cards for purchased and will hold items as needed to allow you to continue to shop. This place also offers for purchase water, pop (soda), Pringles, assortment of candies and snacks to keep you going because when you get here you will be here for a while. I felt very comfortable being here, walking amoung the items and I teracting with the staff. Highly recommend.

I didn't really browse the clothing but I could tell that the things I saw looked well-made and fashionable. A quick check of the Frances Jaye website let me know that they appreciate and support sustainable and ethical brands, which is always awesome to see. The prices may be higher than your average mall, but you get what you pay for. They have men's and women's clothing, accessories, home goods, cards, books, and gift items. I particularly loved the Holland shirts that were modern and stylized. I ended up buying a fancy wick trimmer as we seem to have a surplus of candles these days, as well as two cute holiday cards featuring cat illustrations, because #crazycatlady I loved this little shop and will absolutely stop in every time I'm in the area!

They have amazing jewelry, clothes, and accessories here. I got a really cute star choker that I wear constantly. That's precisely what happened when I purchased a Tombolini suit from AK Rikk's in early September. I paid dimes on the dollar, but got a remarkable product shipped to me (for free --- and in a valet-sized boxed; I mean, the suit was literally hanging from a makeshift mailable wardrobe). AK Rikk's is expensive (even when it's discounted), but it is a rare jewel in a world of cut-glass-fast-fashion-fakes, and one of the few vibrant retail clothing palaces that still exist in this world of dead malls and Ebay deadstocks. If you can't get to AK Rikk's in person (as I couldn't), check them out on YouTube. This is the first thing I've purchased from them (on their website), and I don't know if there will be anything else from them in my future, but it's a Wilkes-Bashford, Mitchell's, Bergdorf-Goodman, Neiman Marcus level shopping experience from start to finish. It's north of Paul Stuart (price-wise), but that "north" extends all the way to Heaven (experientially).
