As a customer - this place is pretty good. As a consignor, not so much. I took 21 items + 4 high end jewelry pieces. I received a total of $71 for 21 items. I was told the high-end jewelry would not get donated if it didn't sell and the consignor could ask for it back. After 1 month, I did just that. After 3 trips and 2 calls, Paula finally called me back. I got 2 pieces returned. Called and stopped at the shop about the other 2 pieces. Paula was always "so busy". I finally just wrote a letter. No response. I stopped again and later that week Paula called to one piece was in "layaway" and the reason she couldn't find it. I called again and Pammy took my name and number. I sit here still waiting for a call back. I guess I'll just cut my losses on the 4th piece. Will never consign here again. But the part that shocked me while standing in line to talk to Paula was to actually see her GIVE blouses to the buyers who were making large purchases. My thought was that whoever consigned those blouses just got screwed. There is no reason they can't do better accounting. Have the consignor bring in a list of items and Pammy can circle what she is keeping. Consignors take a picture. Pammy can mark at the end of the day what sold and for how much. Not a big deal. Return that page to the consignor. I will donate future items to Highland Lakes Crisis Center or Open Door. I wasted lot of time and gas for $71. read more

If you are considering consigning merchandise to this shop, be careful. Management keeps very poor records and does not report sales of property when they occur. They loose or misplace property and you must chase them for a check and an accounting of any sales proceeds. read more

I miss shopping at my FAVORITE STORE!!!! It is also a way to bring in those boots that are too tight but new, and the best part is making a little extra money. In town for the weekend, we discovered this place simply by bopping around. As described by another reviewer: Shops on Llano is located in a beautiful old Victorian house and offers a nice mix of resale furniture and clothing, antiques and jewelry. Half the space is dedicated to clothes and shoes. Now folks, for the record, I do not like shopping for clothes in "vintage/resale shops" - it's too much energy for the hit&miss find. But as I was passing the clothing room, I spotted a jacket I loved. I asked the nice lady at the shop for similar items and with-in 10 minutes I had found 4 new items of funky/fun designer pieces at a fraction of their original cost. Wow! So happy with my new clothes: a reversible print jacket, a dress, linen overalls & a lacy, poncho top Stevie Nicks would wear. This place is a great compromise if members of your party want to look at clothes while you yourself are not such a fan. You might just spot something breezing through the store. read more

GREAT SHOPPING & GREAT PERSONNEL. Love to go there as often as possible, as the merchandise is constantly changing. Hard to walk out without at least one purchase, so many fun things. If you are in Fredericksburg, do not miss the opportunity to drop by. Plus, very easy parking. The only negative is they are only open Thurs, Friday & Saturday, so plan accordingly. read more

THE place to go in town. Shops on Llano is a nice mix of resale furniture and clothing mixed with beautiful jewelry and vintage pieces. And what shopping experience isn't enhanced by being offered wine as you walk in the door?! Pam, the owner, is a doll and knows everyone and everything about Fredericksburg and will give you wonderful recommendations. I am almost always wearing 1-2 items purchased at Shops. I now how to limit how often I visit because I ALWAYS find goodies to buy. read more
