Crazy selection, helpful staff…read more The Micro Center in Santa Clara, located at 5201 Stevens Creek Blvd, brings an incredible, hands-on tech wonderland to Silicon Valley with over 40,000 square feet of hardware, components, and gadgets. I agree with other shoppers that the store is a much-needed haven for PC builders and enthusiasts, featuring immersive displays like a massive 3D printer filament wall and vast shelves stocked with graphics cards, motherboards, and pre-built systems. You can touch and test products before buying, which makes browsing feel engaging and fun.Beyond the impressive inventory, the store stands out for its helpful staff and competitive pricing on tech gear. Employees at the Knowledge Bar and open-air workshop are ready to answer technical questions or help assemble custom PC builds if you prefer not to do it yourself. While popular items like high-end graphics cards can draw crowds or fluctuating prices, the overall shopping experience feels well-organized and exciting for anyone passionate about technology. Thanks

I've been by a few times recently and at every stage, the service was excellent. First, I went to find a very hard to find accessory for my sim racing brakes. A total niche of a niche thing that even the big A doesn't have. A guy from the pc parts department took me right to it. They had four on the shelves, and every other kind of gaming gear you could possibly want. Next, I went to pick up a laptop for a family member and had used their reservation setup. I walked up, gave them my info and was handed the Karoo in like twenty seconds. Per my receipts, Ella has helped me check out both times and has been courteous and helpful. One of the managers introduced himself and gave me his contact info. So yeah. I'm glad MC is back and still the a fantastic computer and electronics store

For a very reasonable fee he promised to fix the computer. He came to my house the next day and got it to work. I paid him and he left. 30 minutes after he left my computer rebooted on it's own again despite the newly installed operating system. I called him and he asked me to bring the computer to his place so he can figure it out. I did. In the next couple of days JT kept me updated on all the tests he had to perform (which often required pulling components out one by one to isolate the issue). The issue it turned out was a faulty motherboard. OUCH. He laid out my options for me and we decided that we can save the computer if I buy some new components for it. JT met me at Fry's Electronics and spent almost two hours with me selecting a new motherboard, and RAM. I got myself a larger internal hard drive as well. JT took the parts home and basically re-built my computer. This included installing a hard drive for me just because I asked him to. When I brought the computer home it worked like a charm. Still does. Now here's what makes JT great... ( aside from being competent, responsive, and friendly through the entire experience) ... he never charged me a penny more since that first night. Despite spending countless hours on my computer and coming to Fry's with me. JT, you're awesome and I hope people read this review and give you their business.

Lol…read morehe's making his own computer and needed some specialty parts that he could buy, and physically see in person here at this particular location. The different employees at work here were all incredibly helpful in assisting my son on building his computer, they pretty nerdy, but all in the good way! Lol a lot of items were behind the lock cabinets, but there was an employee behind the counter that could quickly come unlock everything. They had their own private parking lot in the back and prices were basically the same as online my son said, unless you were buying us somewhat used item from a private vendor. So yes, I will come here again to tag along with my son since I do not know how to make my own computer, but he does. He loves this place!!

They gave me back my computer with diagnostics fee being the only cost I paid (39 bucks at the time!) and she's back in working order! Really appreciated their ability to work around my schedule too. Great job y'all, real computer detectives out here.
