I love coming here! I have sensitive skin, a lot of coarse dark hair, and I don't break out after. Amazing. I think it's a combination of Leigh's technique, demeanor, experience, and the wax used. There are different types (not sure on the details). Leigh uses one type on my leg hair and another on my jawline or Brazilian. I'm sure there is method to the madness and I'm ignorant to the why...I'm okay with it though because I don't leave with a bunch of broken hairs nor do I get severe ingrown hairs after (both scenarios are common for me and I've experienced them at other wax places). I highly recommend coming to this place if you have been getting waxed before and are considering finding an esthetician that actually understands waxing then Leigh is your girl! I am in LOVE. First off, the place I used to go to, I would have a new esthetician every single time I went and would always have to reschedule appointments as the esthetician would quit or get fired. But since switching Leigh has always found time to fit me in to make sure that I am taken care of. My boyfriend and I both had appointments with Leigh today. We have both had waxes in the past and broken out in hives, so we were apprehensive about trying it again. Well let me tell you-- a combination of Leigh's experienced technique and hard wax she uses left us with smooth, soft skin and no irritation! The hard wax seems to be so much easier on the skin. It does not involve the liquid wax and the strip you have to pull off. She was so personable and friendly. This place is cute and clean as well. I think they offer facials too!! Oh-- and we both tried out the nose waxing... it will change your life! It's absolutely PAINLESS and makes it so much easier to breathe. I'll also throw in there that Leigh does not go up too far in to the nasal cavity to where it would impair your noses' ability to filter, humidify, and catch debris. I rarely write reviews but I just cannot keep quiet about this place. Megan consistently provides a level of service that exceeds my expectations and the quality of wax she uses is far better than anything I've ever experienced. I have been waxing for close to 20 years at all kinds of places and never seen results like this. I have thick, stubborn body hair and despite what people say about waxing, I never noticed a reduction in the amount or thickness of hair I waxed - until now. After just one wax by Megan, noticeably less hair grew back. The results are dramatic and, on top of that, the wax is less painful than others and I can go longer between waxes. I still can't believe it. I have been coming back regularly ever since and won't stop. Megan communicates really well, is always punctual, and has awesome "bedside manner" when waxing those sensitive areas. She also shapes my eyebrows really well. And there's plenty of parking for the salon. The whole experience is a million times better than European Wax Center, Pretty Kitty, or any other salon I've tried.
