Update: this is now HK nails…read more I came here after a bad experience at another (closer) salon and I'm so glad I did. The salon has been updated upon changing owners and is remarkably clean. I chose a deluxe pedicure ($45) which came with a sugar scrub, callus remover, hot towel, lotion and polish. I should note that the hot towel was wrapped around my legs instead of just laid over my legs. Something about that was really relaxing. The nail technician took. Her. Time. It was so nice to feel like I got actual attention rather than I was an opportunity for a new "fastest pedicure" record. When I left the other salon a few weeks ago I was so disappointed the polish was so thinly coated that it looked way worse than when I do my own nails. This time my nails were shaped beautifully and the polish was shiny and perfectly done. Great little escape! They have a sign to tip in cash, but they do accept Venmo for tips as well!

When he was done, he went to start the pedicure in which I declined because if this is the job on my nails, what would my feet look like? I made an appointment for 11am when they open on Sunday. I got in just after 11 and there were about 10 people waiting. They took me back to my chair less than 5 minutes after I arrived for my pedicure and less than 10 minutes later, my technician came. What I loved most was the quiet, tranquil environment with spa music playing. This is a must for me if I am going to take some time for self-care. There are great options for manicures and pedicures with lots of upgrades available. My technician took her time and did not rush me, and did a very thorough job. I will be making this my go-to spot for manicures and pedicures!

I thought I found it, but he just brought me back to his station without finding the color match. He simply filed my nails down to nubs and put a clear coat over them. To no surprise, they started chipping a few days later, and now I am just trying to stretch it out since I paid $130 for a dip mani and pedi. I am mostly frustrated at the fact that he kept saying "it wasn't him" who did my nails. I literally said to him, "I'm not crazy. It was you." I almost followed up with "Unless you have an identical twin brother with the exact same tattoos, it was you." He was obviously annoyed the whole time. The guy even stuck his phone in my face to show me a receipt of some kind. The nail tech next to him said to me, "It couldn't have been him because the only customer he had that day was a dip mani and a pedi." I said, "Yah. I had a pedi too."
