I celebrated my birthday by doing the Great Escape package. Which includes "One Hour Swedish Massage, Euro Escape Facial and Brow Shaping, Pedicure, Escape Manicure, Haircut, Shampoo and Blow Dry, Makeup Application." It also includes a lunch as well. Let me start off by saying how each and every service I went to, I felt so cared for and comfortable. From the start of the day to the end every single person in there made me feel special and relaxed. Honestly time flew before my eyes I was enjoying myself so much. I have to give an extra shout out to Sarah who did my facial and brow shaping, I feel like she really took her time in explaining what is going on with my skin and how I can better take care of it. She also has the softest extraction touch out of any facial I have ever had. I will continue to go to Sarah for any facial I ever need. My massage with Dewald was the perfect amount of pressure and I felt amazing afterwards. Amber and Rachel made my hair and makeup look fantastic for my birthday dinner after my spa day. I absolutely love this place. I've been going to them for many years. The massage therapist, "D", is excellent at what he does and has helped my broken neck and back sooo much. And he is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. The hair stylists, Amber, Monica (former employee), snd of course a Emidio, are wonderful. Maria is a great manicurist and Kate is about the friendliest hostess there us. Let's not forget Kristen who keeps the ship running and is very pleasant. Came to the spa for manicure & pedicure with a friend. Found this place through SpaFinder because I had a gift card. The manicure & pedicure are outrageously expensive, but figured with the gift card it would be worth the pampering. Both girls were perfectly nice and professional but I have gotten much better manicures and pedicures at half the price. Not to mention both of our manicures chipped only two days later which is very atypical for us. Pretty disappointed with the outcome for the amount of money this spa charges. read more

I wanted to take my daughter to get her first facial and decided on Emidios. It has a salon and day spa. Its not a huge salon where you would feel lost and unimportant but a quaint and cozy place hidden behind the bowling alley. Everyone was ver y helpful and friendly. My daughter thought it was amazing and also got her eyebrows waxed, which looked perfect. My facial from Renee was one the very best I ever had. It felt like time went too fast. They use amazing products too,Pevonia Botanica. I also got my haircut done by Linda and it was beautiful. She is friendly and seems to know what I wanted without me having to go into much detail. Went to the salon and spa for nail trim and pedicure with a companion. The nail treatment and pedicure are unbelievably costly, yet figured with the gift voucher it would merit the spoiling. Amanda styled my hair in one of the most exceedingly terrible ways and wouldn't quit speaking awful about different clients. Also both of our nail trims chipped just two days after the fact which is exceptionally atypical for us. Quite baffled with Amanda and the result for the measure of cash this spa charges. read more

Me: Fifty four year old professional, parent of four children, particular consumer, willing to pay for value, long time massage customer, always in search of a true barber shave. Escape: I was gifted the four hour Gentlemans Escape package from my daughter. Easily made an appointment, given directions over the phone, receptionist was very pleasant. The package was a one hour massage, haircut and shampoo, traditional shave with a straight edge, manicure, pedicure and lunch. I have had similar packages before in the area. I have to say the experience was exceptional. The staff are very friendly, Everyone goes out of their way to see to your comfort, while performing an excellent job at their skill. Emidio gave me my haircut and shave. He did the traditional shave cream and hot towels using a straightedge. "D" gave me my massage, deep tissue work which was very good and strong technique. Maria gave me my manicure and pedicure and with her strong hands and attention to detail, made it very comfortable. Becka washed my hair with a scalp massage. Lunch was from a menu! Italian fare, I had lasagna, served a large portion. My family said I looked like a new man, sounded like a new man. I felt like a new man! Went here today as a recommendation from a friend. I got a leg wax and my first Brazilian wax with Amanda. This is usually obviously not a pleasant experience but I have to say I had an amazing experience!! This place is amazing. They offer spa and hair services and I currently have taken advantage of the hair and nail services as well as had reiki and an angel card reading done. I have my hair done by Ashley and she is not only one of the nicest people I know, she has a great feel for hair, as well as what works for me. My hair has never looked or felt better. Kristen does my reiki and she has made me a believer. I have never had it done before and it brings me so much peace, I can't say enough great things about it. My first time here, I made an appointment with someone I understood was fantastic. The afternoon of my appointment I received a call asking if I would come in 2 hours earlier that would allow for "necessary extra time for 1st time clients" with a different stylist. Being assured that all stylists were as fantastic, I agreed. The salon was a little difficult to find, but when I arrived, I was impressed by the space and how friendly everyone there seemed. They offered a drink, had snacks laid out, and a waiting area with cushy chairs and couches. When it came time to get down to business, however, there was less than a minute taken to assess my needs as a 1st time client. I was literally just asked where my part was, and if I straightened my hair. Ok, not the biggest deal if the service was awesome, although it was off putting that I was encouraged to switch stylists and my schedule for no apparent reason. The haircut itself is good enough, minus some blunt-cut bangs, but at the end, when my hair was roughly blowdried into a poof, the stylist goes "All done!" I asked if she was going to finish the blowdry (I dunno, tame it a little, use an iron, anything), she told me she didn't have time, and "couldn't" - that next time, I should ask for an appointment with more time. I'm sorry, but was "extra time" not the reason I switched in the first place? I've never been to a salon where they, by default, let you walk out the door the way I left, especially for $50+. This salon may offer more to loyal customers, but as a first-timer, I was disappointed. Any out there who might have a recommendation about great stylists or salons would be most appreciated as I have not had much luck around here yet! read more

I have been going to the Emidio Vincenzo Escape Salon in Severna Park for several years now. The services I get are haircutting and coloring, facials, waxing and deep tissue massages. The Salon also has a variety of other services catering to both men and women. I have been to many salons but this one, by far, has the most skilled stylists and estheticians as well as the most impeccable customer service and pampering. I really love my haircuts and color and my stylist provides me with excellent style with creativity if I want something a bit different. The facials are absolutely relaxing and they leave my skin glowing. The deep tissue massage is to die for and when I leave the salon after any of my services, I look and feel my absolute best. The setting is very relaxing and comfortable. There are fireplaces in both the spa which is a separate area of the salon and the reception area which makes for a very cozy atmosphere. There is coffee, tea, soda and cappuccino offered as you come in and a tray of cookies sits next to the couch in the reception area. When you enter, you are warmly greeted and someone quickly arrives to take your coat and offer you something to drink. I am impressed by the fact that anyone, even if it is someone who is not providing you with the service that day, offers to hang your coat and get you something to drink. Every single person in that salon is geared to providing the best of styling, comfort and pampering for each and every client. I have been to many salons during my time and usually it has been what I consider to be a necessary but not really enjoyable experience. However, at the Escape Salon, I really look forward to going there for the service as well as for being with the people who work there. I can confidently say that the experience is as enjoyable as getting together with your best friends for a good time. I recommend that you seriously consider a service at the Emidio Vincenzo Escape Salon in the near future and I am sure that you will love it and become a steady client. read more

Today was my 1st visit to the spa. I followed Ashley there from another hair salon, she's fantastic. I was expecting another "chain" salon where you are lucky if any of the staff (besides Ashley, she is always nice and smiles) acknowledges your existence. Well, I walked in and was greeted by 2 very nice women. I was offered a beverage and given a tour of the most beautifully decorated and clean spa I could imagine. The entire place smelled like citrus, vanilla, lavender and cinnamon. The private massage rooms and pedicure chairs made me wonder where had I been going in the past, I have been missing out on true pampering. The entire staff said hi with big smiles as I was introduced to them. I've had my hair washed before; but, the young lady that washed my hair also massaged my head...I was drooling! I will most definitely be scheduling a massage soon. I really felt well taken care of. It's not just for women, men go too. Great place! read more

Had an hour massage yesterday, almost the worst 1 I have ever had. A male did it and if I was not in a pleasant mood I would have demanded to see his credentials. He pushed all my tension into my head, which let me know he didn't have a clue what he was doing. He was very kind, but clueless as a massage therapist.
