It's a small place - and street parking can be tricky. But I was fortunate to get a spot right out front. I stepped inside and saw the various containers of products and was pleased. Not only were there things that I use every day, but the prices were ridiculously affordable. Isela (theeee sweetest person) gave me a brief, but thorough "tour" that was absolutely fascinating. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL. And I met her husband and best friend, who happened to be in the store. Simply delightful. I think this is going to be another one of my "happy" places.

I've been using the Walgreens in Placentia as my primary pharmacy for the past eight years…read more The most convenient thing about this location is that they have a drive-through window for picking up prescriptions. There is rarely more than a car or two in line, if any. The pharmacy staff has always been friendly and efficient both at the drive-through window and inside. On a few occasions when I needed a prescription urgently, they were always happy to expedite it and have it ready within an hour or two. A few times when my doctor's office was slow to send more refills, they gave me a five day emergency supply so I wouldn't be without a medication. I switched health insurance plans this year and Walgreens is no longer in-network, but I wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future.

She made an mistake, totally understand that, but then her shift lead said it was too bad, they couldn't do a thing about it, I'd have to call the 877# for reimbursement AND... if I wanted the Amazon card I'd have to pay for that one too. (which I did). I called the 877# and they told me only the store could remedy the mistake (of course) maybe call customer service. I did just that opened a case (#26553056) with Walgreens customer service and this is their reply back; Thank you for taking your time to contact Walgreens Corporate Offices. We appreciate hearing from our customers and value all comments received. Please be advised, Walgreens corporate policy is no refunds or exchanges on gift cards. Again, thank you for contacting our corporate office. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your comments. I understand people make mistakes, but what happened to owning your mistake and make it right??? I am so frustrated!!

They got most of the stuffs that I like but they do have seasonal sales that could go up to 75% discount so...something I got things at really cheap and by luck too. Service is slow but friendly so can't say much. There is only one cashier at the register and I only see 2 only during holidays. Overall, they got what I needed and by luck, they're on sales. I waited approximately 10 minutes for assistance. I politely tried to get the attention of the manager, who was working in the photo area, but he either did not hear me or chose not to respond. I waited a few more minutes, and still no one came to assist. After repeatedly waiting without help, I raised my voice simply to get someone's attention. Instead of receiving assistance, I was asked to leave the store--despite the fact that there were no cashiers available and no help provided. The store felt like it was running unattended. I have video footage showing how empty the registers were during this time. I do not recommend this Walgreens due to lack of customer service and poor management. I will be contacting corporate to report this experience.

I've visited other sustainable companies that still use unnecessary packaging and plastic, but not here. There's none of the extra wastefulness, everything is natural, thoughtfully made, and environmentally friendly. So far I've purchased reusable makeup remover pads, a reusable sponge, reusable produce bags, body soap with a pouch, body oil, deodorant, toner, makeup remover, face wash, a candle, sunscreen, and shampoo and conditioner bars. The best part? I get to refill the containers instead of throwing them away. How amazing is that? Christy and Catherine are so friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Christy, the owner, is amazing and I could talk about sustainability with her for hours. I've been searching for a company like this and I can't wait to go back and stock up on even more products.
