I couldn't tell you the different things they did because well, I am a guy and we don't always get this stuff : ) but I can tell you I saw a difference when I left and continued to see even more results over the next few weeks. They utilize proven skin care methods but also research and integrate new technologies. I should say that Lorena is serious about what she does. You can tell she is constantly thinking and assessing what a client needs. This may come across a little "clinical" to some people. However, she is a genuinely good person and cares about people. PSC is also a true American success story. It was founded by a young female who funded the business on her own and built the business from the ground up. Supporting small business matters. PSC is not a bargain basement facility providing Group On specials. They are also not charging outrageous prices. If you want quality work you have to be willing to pay for it. My aunt, uncle, & brother went to Lorena for a facial so I decided to reach out to her. My family advised me she charges somewhere around $60 or $70. When I reached out to her for a quote she told me it would be $145 for a facial. I figured she was probably charging me for a facial that included all the works so I kindly asked if she had any facials that were less and more affordable than that. She bluntly told me no. I then advised how my family members went once to her and recommended me to her thus why is she charging me more than double. She did not even reply back or apologize for trying to give me a price that was more than double. She simply left me on read. That was so unprofessional. Be careful with the prices. I don't mind paying a a few dollars more but considering she was trying to more than double the price that was very unprofessional. She never even replied back and apologized for trying to hustle me or anything. Be careful with over paying. Luckily I found someone else. I advised my family of Lorena's unprofessionalism. A simply apology would have sufficed. Also if you look at one of the other negative reviews Lorena herself comments that facials range from $59-$325. Went back today for a second appointment. I'm still amazed! - Tiffany still took her time to work on my face. Her extractions definitely hurt, but she does an excellent job! You can be sure she's definitely doing her best to get everything you want out. - Yes, my face was puffy and somewhat scary looking after the facial, but it went away almost immediately. - It's now several hours later and my face already has a shiny, healthy glow. - I also noticed that the estheticians and the owner at PSC definitely keep abrest with that's going on in the makeup/beauty world. They will go to makeup conventions, buy new products which they will then try on themselves and see if it'll help clients. - The facial I got was $65.00. Very Unprofessional Visit Ever!! I would give a Negative Star Rate if possible. As I signed in, the receptionist asked if I got a message about appointment confirmation. I believe she was upset for me not calling back to confirm. I received 1 email and 2 text appointment reminders but nothing about calling back. The manager brought me back into a facial room and asked to lay down. I told her that when I made the appointment it was only for a Consult. She thought I was there for treatment and gave me an unwelcome look like I was wasting her time. So I told her my skin condition and wanted advice. Basically she said "I can't help you. You already have someone doing your facial. You need to go back to Newport Beach. I can't answer your questions. You need to ask those questions to whoever is doing your facial. There's nothing I can do. And It's not good for you to jump around doing facials." I was outrageous! I just moved to Brea/Fullerton and I was looking for a new place to continue my treatment. She was very unprofessional within our 2 minute consult. She walked me back to the receptionist to charge me $35 consult fee and asked about why I didn't call back to confirm. Really! Now again back to not calling to confirm and a 2 minute consult about not helping me. They failed to mention a consult fee when I made my appointment. I've worked in a professional cosmetic office in Newport Beach and we wouldn't charge new patients if we couldn't help them. I read good reviews on Yelp about this office but I'm disappointed on the service I got. I did pay the $35 and I will never return back there ever. read more

Found a coupon/discount on Yelp for a $65 facial, so I gave this place a try. The esthetician was very professional and welcoming. She was very meticulous with the makeup removal, masks, and neck/shoulder massage. The extraction was painful, but thorough so I'm OK with that. I left with glowing smooth skin that lasted for a couple weeks. I gave this place a 3 star because the clinic didn't seem as clean as I think it should be. I got a look at the steamer nozzel and saw what looked like black mold (it could've been lint, but I doubt it). It grossed me out and I moved it away from my face. I want to go back, but the image of black gunk inside the steamer nozzle haunts my brain. I have to find another place. Ugh. read more

After only 3 appointments with Lorena, my skin has improved a TON. Before when I used to wash my face I would feel so sad because I could feel all of the bumpiness and ugly texture but now my skin feels a lot smoother and softer. It does take a bit of time to notice the results after a facial and I am a very inpatient but trust me, the wait is SOOO worth it. What I like the most about PSC (besides the results lol) is that Lorena really educates you about your skin, why your skin is the way it is and she gives you tips to help your skin improve and her products are really good. I found this place on Yelp. After reading the reviews I decided to drop in and check the place out. The owner was very friendly and accepted me as a walk in for a facial that same morning. This was not my first facial, so I can tell she's extremely experienced and she knows what she's doing. She has a process set in play according to your skin type and uses her own product line. So you can purchase the scrubs! They are excellent btw! Especially when used in the shower as it scrubs off dead skin. Her moisturizer is the BEST! I love it! I absolutely LOVE IT HERE! I have been coming here for nearly a year now and I am so pleased with the services. I have been struggling with cystic acne for years and it came to a point where I literally couldn't speak because of how swollen and how painful it was to make any movement. I have gone to dermatologists and have responded negatively to the medication (i.e. Nausea/vomiting, skin burning) that they had prescribed and figured I needed to do something else. I looked on Yelp and saw the wonderful reviews for PSC and thought I might give it a try. I did and I WISH I would've come in earlier! I was greeted with the sound of relaxing music and a pleasant greeting from the receptionist. The first thing that really impressed upon me was the personal interest that was displayed. Lorena called me in and first took a look at my skin and educated me as to what was going on so that I have a better understanding of how to take better care of my skin. I was so impressed! She showed me images and explained to me what was going on exactly. She really took an interest and was very personal with me- I didn't feel like she was rushing me out of that it was 'strictly business'. It was so refreshing! I especially appreciated that she gave me tips on how to better care for my skin by recommending using products that I already have at home.
