So my friends live up here and siad this was the better place - more variety in the beer. I found it to be a great enviro - helped by the Cider place next door and Steam Dumpling pop up in the parking lot - a, YUM! Had some good beer, Had some gyoza,....listened to great music.... Hope you too can catch a great time here!

    Great place

Brews were decent. Taco truck out front was great. This was one of the few breweries in the area that actually made it somewhat easy to find what food trucks were there.

Great venue and large beer list. I ordered the Berry Bueno sour, delicious. Some live music in the parking lot. Check it out!

There's also a cider place in the adjacent warehouse, if you're into that sort of thing.

It is pretty big, with indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a huge projector inside. You order drinks and food at the counter and sit down either indoors or outdoors. Both are pet friendly from what I saw. I tied their Paloma which was very tasty. We also tried My Mom's Mole food truck. We tried their Mahi Mahi Ceviche. Only thing I didn't like were the olives in it, but it was delicious otherwise! Chips were so good too. Parking can be a bit limited, as they share the lot with other businesses. They also host different activities throughout the week. We went on karaoke night, which was so much fun! Definitely recommend this place!

I love the concept of a non-profit brewery. Especially one that gives back to the local community…read more Watsonville Public House does exactly that and it's a wonderful feeling to grab a nice cold beer, knowing that you're also helping to contribute to a good cause. They're a relatively new brewery (around a month old) so their own beer menu is a bit limited; only 4 to chose from that are produced by them, but they did have 7 other beers to choose from on their guest taps, one cider, and two wines from Alfaro (a Chardonnay and a Pinot noir). So it's safe to say that there's something for everyone. The ambiance is laid back inside. There's plenty of seating available and room to spread out with friends if you come in with a group. I visited during trivia night and the energy from the competing teams was fun to watch. I had the chance to try two out of their four in house beers; the table porter and the "Spanglish" Mexican style ale. The porter was an easy drinker but a bit on the mild/light side to me. My preference leans towards porters and stouts so I was happy they even had that option since most places are very IPA heavy. I just wish it had more body and mouthfeel. It reminded me of a Guinness you get from a glass rather than on nitro. Still good and drinkable but definitively missing something. The Spanglish ale was moderately better in terms of having interesting tasting notes to it but it drank more like a Hefeweizen to me. It even had that somewhat distinct banana note that comes from a certain type of yeast. Neither of these beers knocked my socks off but they weren't bad either. It boils down to personal preference. I still plan on coming back and trying their two other beers so I can at least say I've given them a solid try. Parking can be tight and a bit sparse so keep that in mind when you visit. Try to carpool if possible. Service was top notch. The gal working behind the counter was attentive, kind, and worked efficiently to run all the taps solo. A+ job. I encourage you to give this place a try if you're in the area.

It is sharing a space with a brewery and I recommend you see both of your best worlds, but my family and I are cider heads. And we totally like the fact that they decorated for Halloween with properly placed skeletons in the room we enjoyed taking pictures with them. As you walk through the entrance, the first thing you smell is popcorn. They have a popcorn machine there and let the guests have free popcorn if they like. Everyone of my family loves popcorn. The thing I thought was really great is we could bring our dog in and they're very dog friendly. We have a nice sweet little dog. We knew there wouldn't be any problems with guests. They were tasting eight ciders that day. So we ordered a flight of eight so we could taste all their varietals on sample. I tried the wooden tooth special and the sweet tooth and strawberry and oh snap and Newtown Pippin and don't make me blush and pretty in pink and tropical burn. My personal faves were the first two and I also liked the don't make me blush. I was so impressed with the cider which I bought two bottles of their Gravenstein, which you cannot get a tasting up because of the supply left is low. I'm really looking forward to tasting those at home. Awesome all around. Now on my radar.

To quote The Rock "If you're going to have a cheat day, make it EPIC you've earned it"…read more A staple to the community of Watsonville, I absolutely love what they are doing here. The owners are so nice. Watsonville has no shortage of great food, but the slice project remains ONE of my favorite places to grab a slice of pizza in the area. The slices are generous, before I became a health conscience junkie I would eat about 4 slices by myself (those days are far behind me) but every once in awhile I will have a slice of pizza in moderation. Their crust is thin, blistered from the wood-fired oven, just the right balance of chew and crispiness. The toppings are creative without trying too hard, and every ingredient taste high quality. What I love most is that they don't overload the pizza. Their crust combinations are thoughtful, letting each ingredient shine instead of burying everything under a mountain of random stuff. I always ask for gluten free crust, you have to call in advance so they can prepare it, my favorite is the Lil' Pep. The atmosphere is casual, energetic and perfectly located. Whether you are a local or visiting from out of town, this is ONE of the spots that consistently lives up to its reputation. I don't come here as much as I used to, but everyone once in a while is good enough for me. - thank you for the hospitality and keep up the good work

We like to support local family run businesses and the food has been good in the past. The wait staff are consistently friendly and mostly competent. We've been pleased that when asked about gluten-free options each time, the waiters know about 90% of the menu off the top of their heads and aren't afraid to say they need to ask the kitchen when there's an item they're not sure about, rather than guess the answer, as has happened at other restaurants. Saturday we had a group of 8 that were seated at 4:45, so not exactly rush hour. We finally had to ask for water after 15 min. It was close to an hour from when we placed our orders before the food began arriving. I had informed the waiter of an onion allergy and requested no onions anywhere on the plate, as well as subbing extra veggies for the pasta. My food arrived with onions throughout the veggies. While I appreciate that they quickly took the plate back to fix it, the new plate had only a single serving of veggies which were so undercooked that even with the steak knife if was difficult to cut, and not great to chew either. I quickly gave up and saved it to finish cooking at home. Another guest ordered the tuna fresh catch rare, and it arrived between medium and medium rare, which was quite disappointing. But at least his veggies were closer to al dente. Another small irritation was that they brought out bread and olive oil, but there were only 5 pieces for our group of 8 so we asked for another one for our end of the table, and they charged us. While we recognized many staff as longtime employees, both the food and the service didn't live up to previous visits, which is even more disappointing because we brought new people to experience their food. Given this experience, it'll probably be awhile before we go back.
