I enjoy cider, though typically don't get it much, and will confess as being kind of ignorant as to how different and good it can really be. But I got a great lesson in that regard after visiting Santa Cruz Cider. There are all sorts of libations on offer here, in many different styles, so you are sure to find something to please your pallet. I wound up going with a large flight, and found some real gems on their menu. The Wooden Tooth is one of their mainstays, and has a good balance of dryness and sweetness. Several of their other entries take this base and get infused with other flavors, such as the Oh Snap, with ginger, and the Don't Make Me Blush, which is a most excellent pomegranate-infused cider. There are also some very delightful concoctions like the wild-fermented Wild Side Gravenstein, and the Lot 24, with emphasis on using all local apples. But the two which impressed me the most were the Sweet Tooth, and the Ciderkin. The first being their dry cider with fresh juice added, making a good balanced tasting drink with lower ABV. Also on the lower ABV end, the Ciderkin is a second-run ferment, only clocking in at 2.5%, and is most refreshing on warm sunny days. And while I was not able to try them this time around, the menu also includes things like Hot Mulled Cider, and Cider Slushies. I'll put a pin in those for next time. In all, I liked pretty much everything on offer here! Beyond the drinks, the location is just my kind of place. I love little hole-in-the-wall spots, and this certainly qualifies. There's definite charm here, and if the weather is nice, you should take a seat outside and enjoy your refreshments. Plus, the service here was outstanding and very friendly! Prices for everything are decent, though proportionally a bit higher than if you were drinking beer, since most of their pours are smaller sized. They sell several of their ciders to-go in individual cans and 4-packs, too, and I just had to bring some back with me. So all in all, I am very happy to have found these folks. I am for sure looking forward to my next visit, and I highly recommend any craft brew hunters in the area have them on their radar. Cheers!

You've never had cider like this! Sophisticated, not sweet, alcohol forward, fresh, and crisp. We tried 9 ciders and had fun ranking them. You can buy bottles and cans to take home. We sat at the bar and chatted with one of the owners and one of the regulars. The cidery is owned by two sisters, which I think is really rad. And they use local apples and do everything themselves. Try them all! Not only is it really fun, the ciders are all different. Oh, and they're DOG FRIENDLY and have rotating food trucks. Chill place to hang. There's even a brewery (The Slough Brewing Collective) next door if you love beer.

I had a great time here sampling the dry ciders. Casual place to sit and chat with other folks. Best cider I've had outside of Paso Robles. Live music -guitarist playing. Friendly server. Worth a stop-over if you're in the area.

If you like ciders on the dryer side, this is the place to be. Had a wonderful visit here this last weekend and definitely recommend a visit. I tend to lean in the middle on the dry to sweet cider scale and the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me pick what I might like and I got so excited and decided on the flight. My favorite cider hands down was the pomegranate cider, it was perfect and I took a four pack to go. They have board games too! Great way to spend an afternoon.

This place was amazing!! They are so friendly here and also a great selection of ciders! There was even a slushy cider as well and there was the slough brewery next door for those beer people

What a cool place to stop for a drink. It was a bit hard to find just because it's in a very industrial area. The place that it's located at is pretty much a warehouse redone. But I really did enjoy the drinks here. It's right next to a brewery so you have options to go between the two. I personally ordered the eight flavor flight so I can try every single cider that they had. My personal flavors were the strawberry apple and also the sweet tooth. Although I'm not a huge fan of cider, in this case, I was definitely craving something refreshing having just came off of a 8 mile hike. My only reason for not giving five stars is the fact that the food showed up a little bit late. On the website, we were led to believe that there would be a food truck there when we arrived. But it didn't show up until about 1:30. But once it did come, the tacos were absolutely delicious and the cider paired well with the food from the food truck. I did enjoy this place and I would definitely come back again.

Whooooo!!! Loooove their cider. First tried their cider after buying it at the Downtown SC Farmer's Market. So dope to check out their location!!! I tried their prickly pear cider which was soo yummy and juicy. But their Gravenstein Cider is probably my favorite cider EVER. It's crisp, dry, tart with a very distinct fresh apple flavor. Absolutely stunning, I got three bottles to take home. Highly recommend checking this place out, it's a must!!!! They have food pop ups regularly too, I went on a Friday when My mom's mole was there!! There's also a beer brewery next door that shares the outdoor seating if someone in your group isn't into ciders. So no excuses!!! hahah

I was very excited upon seeing this place on Yelp because I love cider and always try to visit cideries wherever I visit. Like the majority of breweries/cideries in the area, it is located in an industrial area but the inside although small, was done up nicely and was open to the gorgeous weather. This is a brand new establishment, opening just three weeks prior according to the bartender. A small bar is present along with some wine barrel seating. There was a good group of people at the bar and a few sitting around which is a good sign. Dogs are also welcome! My family and I decided to order the 8 drink flight ($18) and get a taste of the whole menu. To our dismay, out of the 8, each of us only really liked one. We each liked a different one which spoke to our individual tastes but no one in my party was wowed by the taste of any of them. The majority are all fairly dry but honestly they weren't flavor forward. My top was the Wooden Tooth Special, my dad enjoyed the Sweet Tooth, my brother liked the Watermelon Mint, and my mother didn't really have a favorite. All in all, we left wanting Maybe it's the type of cider they make, maybe it's because they are brand new, maybe it's another reason, either way, although the atmosphere was nice, the drinks here were not for us. I would still say people should go on out and give them your business because honestly this type of cider might be just up your alley, unfortunately for us, it was not.

Some of the ciders tasted watery, but others: (the Wild Gravenstein, the Oh Snap!, and the Sweet Tooth) had great flavor. Really cute place

We visited today, the location itself was very quiet which I really appreciated. The ciders were great! I ordered the 8 cider flight and split it with a friend. We were able to taste all of their ciders offered. Great prices, great staff, dog friendly, they take credit cards, they have bathrooms. Honestly, what more can you ask for?

We really enjoyed our time here. We tried the eight option flight. I enjoyed their wooden tooth and strawberry apple ciders. The best part was the wooden tooth cider with a strawberry popsicle! You have to try the cider with the popsicle. As it melts it changes the flavor and each sip gets better and better!

    Cider to go!

We stayed for a tasting of all 8 ciders! I loved the strawberry cider. After tasting we bought one to go and enjoyed it at the beach. Beautiful day!

Enjoying a Santa Cruz Cider (first time trying) in my backyard in SoCal on this sweltering afternoon with my wife .Much thanks to my amigo and fellow ER RN Daniel for the gift pack of ciders and to Amanda who so generously donated them to first responders. I'm on two of five and this stuff is super goooood! If the rest are as good as these, then we are sold!!! Thank you and happy drinking!

I don't hear about many places that make mead/cider in the area. It's a bit cold inside. There's plenty of parking outside. On a weekday night, the area was bustling due to their neighbors at Hapa's and pinball next door. There is parking aplenty. The cashier was incredibly nice. We got to try all 5 cider flavors as a flight. They were surprisingly strong. None of the meads were available unfortunately. Guava Gremlin 6% - This tastes like you're on a tropical vacation. The guava is stronger in the aftertaste, and is a bit light when you drink it. Hibiscus Garden Party 5.5% - This one is fragrant and gorgeous. Tastes like a tart fruit. It's like Starbucks refresher but more flavorful, more sour, and alcoholic. Pearracuda 5.8% - Tart and fruity! It tasted the most tart to me out of all the drinks. The pear smell is light. I was tasting the sourness more than I was tasting a typical pear flavor. Golden Rift 5% - The body and taste of this one was noticeably different, not as tart nor bubbly as the others. It tasted a lot like a beer actually, although not bread-y. It's peculiar and I didn't mind it, but I wouldn't drink a whole cup of it. I think some people would not like it. Ride or Dry - 6.8% - This was our favorite! I was expecting more bitterness and sourness, but it's actually very easy to drink. You would not expect it to be 6.8% ABV. How dangerous! I can get a whole cup of it. All in all, I think this spot is so neat. It was fun trying all the flavors in a nice environment. I highly recommend and look forward to trying their new items next time!

Each time I have had the pleasure of having the owner there to explain the process and differences between their offerings and it is apparent a lot of work goes into their cider.
