They dutifully take a lot of x rays of your teeth, the full mouth scan and then they place you in a room, alone with images of what they have scanned. It took me a while to realize that what I was looking at was my mouth because my teeth looked absolutely terrible. They use some kind of weird lighting trick to make your teeth look very yellowed. My teeth are not that horrible and are nice to look at. I wrote on their sheet that I was overall pleased with my smile. Then after viewing that screen for a while, about four females came into the room and said I had heavy bone loss and their clinic couldn't even do a routine cleaning. They wanted to refer me to a bone specialist like the specialist could restore my bones! They also talked about dentures and I flat out told them, I would NOT be receiving dentures. Oh, and another thing. At the end of the visit, they give you a looooong list of things you can buy or procedures you can have done to your mouth. I looked at the final cost and it was about four thousand dollars. Yup! You read that right. I will never return.

One, they don't use a different polish on veneers than on regular teeth (which my previous dentist did). Two, the tech who worked on my teeth was rough, especially on the gum line around my veneer. And three, while the office design was nice, the technology they used for the cleaning was a bit old-school (dated). I'm just used to a practice that uses newer forms of cleaning and polishing procedure. As I was private pay, the total was $250+, which is highway robbery for a simple cleaning. I go every few months, so my teeth are almost always never a problem. I was in and out in 30-40 minutes. The cost didn't come anywhere near equating to the experience. My search for a dentist in SA continues.

Our first appointment we were canceled after we showed up in the office because they didn't have my son's chart, allegedly. 3. I made another appointment six weeks later and they tell me that they have no way of seeing the chart from the sister facility so all those patients have been on the "back burner." When asked when they planned on having a resolution, they said I could call corporate. It was then no surprise, the number Roseanne or Roseanna gave me--that was not their corporate number. 4. I offered to bring in my son's chart so that it could be scanned into their system and she stated no because they would have to create an entirely new contract/charge for something I've already paid in full for. Save yourself a headache and do not visit this location.

Instead of asking if anything has changed, they basically make you do the job of the front desk lady and fill everything out yourself. I had a consultation with Dr. Holtquist who explained everything in great detail and warned me of any complications that could arise. A few days before my surgery, the office let me know that Dr. Holtquist had a personal matter to attend to and that Dr. Medley would be performing my surgery The day of surgery I walked in nervous and was quickly put at ease with the warmth and kindness of Dr. Medley. It was honestly the easiest and best experience I've had with a surgery. I was sedated for 99% of the procedure and only remember him telling me when they were moving on to my next tooth. About a week later, I started to have some pain in one area and called the office. Abby was extremely helpful in getting me scheduled for a follow up the next day. Dr. Medley explained everything he would do again and packed my socket with some medicated gauze which took all of 3 minutes and quelled my pain within 15 minutes. I cannot rave enough about this office, the helpful staff, or Dr. Medley. If anyone every needs a recommendation, this will be the office I tell them about.
