The name is actually "Headquarters Army Navy" and they specialize in brand-new clothing, boots and equipment. Most of the customers are paintball aficionados, and they're looking for camouflage clothing, military boots, and paintball supplies which Headquarters Army Navy has in abundant supply. You can also find a great selection of camping and hunting gear, as well as some knives, canteens, cooking supplies, and other equipment to add to your hurricane supplies box. Finally there's also a collection of military and tactical gear including pants, shorts, jackets, holsters, and other specialized equipment. This is one of the few places in town to find PROPPER-brand tactical pants and shorts, along with some heavy duty t-shirts. You'll find Headquarters Army Navy at the little triangular-shaped intersection where Skipper Road meets Bearss Avenue, just to the east of Nebraska Avenue. I'm a huge fan of Trollbeads, so I was very excited to have a chance to visit a brand store while I was there. This store is great - the beads are laid out beautifully. Even if you're not a fan of the brand (yet!) there's plenty to look at and admire. The salesperson who helped me took plenty of time to answer questions and show me the fabulous beads they had available. I purchased a couple new beads as mementos of my trip. Toward the end of the strip of retail shops on Dodecanese Blvd. (next to the spice shop) Katie (I hope that I have her name right), has a fashion forward and conscious place to get clothing items and accessories that you'd be hard pressed to get anywhere else. When speaking to the owner I was informed that she only buys a few of each article of clothing so once the stock is exhausted, that's all there is available. I was told new shipments come in weekly which is pretty awesome. Her shop features some local handmade accessories and various pieces of wall art. I enjoyed talking to the shop owner and a salesperson when I was there and they were helpful without being pushy. I did not feel pressured to buy anything which makes for an enjoyable shopping experience. I found the clothing to be reasonably priced and I bought several pieces for my upcoming vacation. I hope to visit again and see the great pieces that Katie carries a limited inventory of. This is her first store and something she's passionate about and enjoys and I love that. Check out this boutique if you are fashion conscious (and even if not) and enjoy wearing clothing that is not sold in many stores.
