We went to Ashley's today for the Memorial Day sale. I want to change one bedroom into an office since I work from home. We were looking at sleeper sofas and we found one and the price was great. It was very comfortable to sit on and pulls out to a queen size bed. They honored the online discounts including price and free delivery. We also spotted a beautiful entertainment center for a little over $400. That's to go in the new office space for me as well. Our salesman, Nathan was great and so very patient with us. Not good. Bought one of the most pricey beds in the showroom. Looked great in the showroom. When the installers came in, they installed the mattress, but it was lopsided and the wood frame inside was also lopsided. Not only is the bed crooked, but the slats and the boxspring sit higher on one side.. People in the showroom, pushed this bed . Told us it did not need a boxspring because it had wooden slats. When they delivered it, it only had four wooden slats. This is not a bed that does not need a boxspring. You must have a boxspring for this bed. I ordered furniture from the Ashley furniture store in Wesley Chapel and dealt with a lovely salesperson, Doreen. Ordered over $15,000 worth of furniture on 2/6/26 . Gave them a month to get my order together and send it to my house. On 3/3, furniture arrived but: 1. Furniture was dirty and stained 2. The person putting one of the beds together told me he was missing parts , so I have a bed that is incomplete in one of the bedrooms and 3. They sent the wrong size bed foundation for that bed. It was supposed to be full size , they sent queen . That's not the worse part...........the worse part is that I was told by the 2 delivery men that brought the furniture that someone would contact me to straighten out these mistakes. NOBODY CALLED ! The next day I contacted my salesperson and explained what happened. She apologized and contacted customer service and got me a case number and once again said someone would contact me..............NOBODY CALLED ! The next day I called the store again and a lady by the name of Paulette helped. She called customer service and explained my problem and got them to call. Someone by the name of Mandy finally called and said she would take care of this and call me back..................NOBODY CALLED!!!!! Again , I called customer service. Gave them my case # and spoke to a Maurice who sounded like he was from the Philippines and I could barely understand. He tells me I have to email pics of the furniture in question so that they can review them. I do. Again, he tells me someone will get back to me ..................NOTHING......Crickets! Next day, Thursday, I call customer service to make sure that they got the pics and now I'm speaking with a lovely girl from the Philippines that I can understand and she finally finds the pics after telling me they couldn't find them but instead of giving me answers she tells me the pics have to be reviewed and that it will take 72hrs but someone will contact me ! At this point, I'm so fed up with their customer service that I'm on the verge of telling them to come and get ALL THE FURNITURE AND JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK !!!!! I expected more out of Ashley furniture but all this has been is a total nightmare! This is what they call "White Glove Service" ‍ I'm tired of their apologies, I'm tired of being told to be patient! I feel that they had no problem taking my money but now, nobody seems to care. I'm giving them their 72hrs and if I don't hear from them I'm taking the bed foundation to the Wesley Chapel store and demanding my money back !!! We liked our sales person. Problem came when I got home and saw the exact chair on line for $400 less. Called store and of course didnt get anywhere. Can't return item. Lesson has been learned. Next issue it was delivered on Saturday and Tuesday it developed a noise in head part. Very expensive recliner for issues already. read more

Complete GARBAGE experience. Sales guy (SCOTTY) straight up LIED to us about couch being in stock. Once they get your money, you're useless to them. Delivery is a complete joke...they'll keep pushing your delivery date back without communicating that they're changing it. Whenever you call customer service, you get someone that barely speaks English and can't help you at all. I'm STILL waiting for my couch that I paid $3000+ for, and from the looks of these other reviews, it seems like the delivery itself is going to be a headache as well. AVOID THIS PLAVE AT ALL COSTS. I order a dining set with a server, paid well over $5000.00. Was scheduled for delivery and at 9pm i finally got a call that they would deliver the next day. Called customer service and they hung up on me and I had no updates and could not track the order. The store in Wesley Chapel does not answer any calls, I called them more than 20x's yesterday and today. I get another call that this morning that my dining room table is on backorder and they don't know when it will be delivered. This is so horrible, honestly I have never experienced anything like this. I have asked customer care to transfer to me to the store and they are unable to. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS AS REPUTABLE FURNITURE STORE AND I WILL BE RETURNING THIS SET. Very poor customer service experience. I and my extended family will never shop at Ashley again. Ashley delivered the wrong size box spring that was ordered and I ask them to deliver it to my new residence or refund the $179. They only offered to deliver to my old residence or for me to bring the box spring and they would replace it at the warehouse. I filed a claim case and had at least 10+ emails and calls where the support reps were reading from a script and ask the same questions over and over, with no one that could see I spent over $6K and would make their mistake right. The local store said there was nothing they could do and that it had to be handled from their corporate office. Hopefully you never have to file a claim or you may share the same experience I did. Ashley certainly didn't care enough to lose multiple customers over $179 and leaving a customer with a very poor experience. read more

The sales service was good. We were in and out. Got a Tempurpedic with smart base. The delivery guys were good, fast, but took off with the headboard attachment hardware and the bottom mattress rail. Both which come in the packaging. I called Ashley Furniture and talked to one of the drones and after barley understanding her I had to submit pictures etc, for them to tell me to reach out to Tempurpedic. NOPE, WRONG. It's Ashley Furniture's fault and should have taken care of this. I mean, the mattress and smart base were delivered a couple hours ago, today! So I call back to a different number. Finally get routed to local distribution or the local warehouse. They claim that there was no hardware in the box. Well, according to Tempurpedic, all that hardware WAS in the box. I mean, I have the instructions from in the box that state what comes in the box. Guess what it said... All that hardware is included. The so called "supervisor" on the phone kept saying that it didn't come with hardware. That MORON running the show over there couldn't lead a parade down a one-way street. Bottom line, be mindful with the whole process. All the way down to the delivery. NEVER sign off on anything until you are 100% satisfied. We will NOT be doing business with Ashley again simply due to how HORRIBLE their customer service is. Piss poor management leads to even worse employees and overall experience. The post sale experience in this case was not good at all. Going to the store and picking something out is only half the battle. Remember that. read more

THEIR FURNITURE QUALITY IS THE WORST!!!!! I purchased a sectional in November and spent extra for the extended warranty. The fabric is pilling and fuzzing up and looks awful after only 6 months. We called customer service and were told this isn't covered by the warranty. We have no small children and have only used the sectional to sit and watch tv. Very dissatisfied with my purchase experience and delivery experience from Ashley Furniture of Wesley Chapel, Florida. Delivery contained the wrong parts and could not be assembled. Was advised the following day a service truck would respond with negative results. The short story is the store blames the delivery service, but the wrong parts were not the delivery companies problem. Two days of from work wasted, two weeks later, guests had to sleep on a mattress floor over Christmas, and I have still yet to receive the parts for a bed in boxes on my floor. Horrible customer service... I bought a desk and 2 side tables on December 27, 2019. Originally it was scheduled for delivery on January 6 but then they Were out of stock and finally they delivered on January, 16th. Item was supposed to be in a box but it wasn't. Still I accepted because it had been 3 weeks and I wAs excited to see my order delivered. I quickly inspected it but I didn't notice the problems until a couple hours later I looked closely. Attached are pictures of the damaged desk. You can see them when you lean down anD get closer. I called customer Servis and they gave me the run around . After getting fruitless, never connecting calls I started getting never being picked up calls. They could see my number and ignore me!!! I sent my complaint in an email with pictures attached. Horrific experience from the sales pitch to the delivery and refusal of assembly. I've been using ashley furniture since 2009 in Brandon and this store. I was a valued customer until I purchased a bedroom set and a living room set. $1800 later, I'm told I can't pay for installation, so it was refused (despite the internet promoting $129 install). I was told my bedroom set would be sent UPS and my other furniture would be delivered. Well, upon delivery, these guys forgot to order one of my couches in the set. When I called customer service, they were lost. Communication is terrible! I had to go to the store in Wesley chapel and instead of comping me the couch, they made me pay full price for it and than have it delivered without installation! When I unraveled the boxes, one of the couches had a broken leg. I created a ticket at customer service, but that was two weeks ago and haven't heard anything. This company just doesn't care. Upon putting my drawers together for my dresser in the bedroom, one piece was jacked up.(pic included). I am beyond upset and Ashley furniture supplies terrible service, broken furniture and a headache to boot. I included all the pictures of my items and alot of damage occurred. Do they care? I will never shop here again and I don't care if it's more elsewhere. At least they will come to my house and install everything! read more

Absolutely the worst store to ever deal with. We ordered several pieces of furniture to include a bookshelf. When it arrived, they had no hardware to put the bookshelf together, and I was told they would be back later that day, they eventually came back two weeks later. When they arrived, they tracked mud all over our brand new house and the hardware they brought didn't fit. When they delivered the couches, one of the men cut his finger and bled on our new couches. When you try calling the store, nobody ever answers. I had an issue with my new couch that needed to be fixed, they were supposed to show up during a given window and when they were past that window, I tried calling, and I was disconnected every time. I will never go to this furniture store again. The headaches are not worth it. The one bright spot is the tech that does come out is really nice and professional. read more

Purchased over $4200 for sofas for great room. The delivery was set up and we received numerous calls to confirm delivery and our address On the evening of delivery, we noticed truck going up and down the street but not stopping. My husband flagged them down. The delivery driver spoken little English and the other man none. The man who spoke a little English tried to convey there was an issue with address and called his supervisor and spoke to him in Spanish. We we're in limbo trying to ascertain problem. I had my receipt and Identification. We had repeated calls from delivery center and I realized the salesman had entered our house number as 819 instead of 810. This went on and on! We realize the driver was in the middle and could not understand the house number was entered incorrectly by one digit. Even with receipt we're in limbo. Had multiple calls from Ashley delivery and explained ad nauseam, and finally resolved. When calling them I repeatedly reached a person who did not speak UNDERSTANDABLE English. I have tried to call the store number multiple times Friday evening and today. Reach a virtual assistant and then finally an agent. Explained inability to ever reach the store directly. She said she would send an email to the store and have them call me right away. So far, no call. Sad to say, with Ashley Furniture, customer service is a misnomer. read more

These are not honest people. We had an issue with our leather sofa. They sent 2 technicians out who both said it's a design flaw and we should return it. The local store said it was a "corporate" issue. Corporate then said they had no record of sending out techs. We wasted numerous hours trying to resolve this. Just know that if you have any issues, even if confirmed by their employees, they will not stand behind their product. These are not good people. Avoid my mistake and buy elsewhere. read more

THE WORST FURNITURE COMPANY IN THE COUNTRY! If I could leave 0 or negative stars I WOULD. Ikea has better quality. I was sold a completely defective mattress, the mattress foam on top has collapsed leading to SEVERE indentations in the mattress which make for TERRIBLE sleep. It's a hybrid mattress (springs on bottom, foam on top) and the foam has completely sunken in. I know that some sinking in is normal but these are 3-4 inch indents of where I sleep (and I'm only 140 pounds). I've purchased the "warranty" (which is a complete scam btw, NEVER BUY THE WARRANTY) and the salesperson LIED straight through their teeth when selling it to me saying anything and everything was covered, just call and explain and they will either repair, or replace an item, easy as that...WRONG! I contacted Ashley in June and explained what was going on with the mattress, I sent pictures of the indents. After being ignored for about a month, I finally got a call to schedule a technician to come and view the mattress. The technician was very polite, measured the indents on the mattress and CONFIRMED with me that these idents were NOT NORMAL behavior for a mattress and that it looked to be defective and that the foam top had collapsed. About a week later I get a message that we have a delivery coming. I'm so excited! The delivery shows up and they attempted to deliver ONE TWIN SIZE BOX SPRING (it's a king size mattress so we have 2 twin box springs) like what is replacing ONE HALF of our box spring going to do when the indents are all in the foam. I'm FURIOUS at this point. I refuse delivery, I contact Ashley immediately and explain what happened. They say they would look into it. I get no communications with them for about a week. Then I get a message saying a delivery is coming! THEY TRIED TO DELIVER THE SAME TWIN SIZE BOX SPRING. THIS WILL NOT FIX THE MATTRESS FOAM ON TOP OF THE MATTRESS! Not only will Ashley sell you COMPLETE JUNK, they will scam you into a warranty that does not actually work, and then they will make you go through hell when it comes to their customer service and getting something rectified. And they will do everything in their power to actually help you and get the problem solved. Ashely should be embarrassed by their behavior. By being a family owned company, if I was the CEO I would be ASHAMED that this is how customers are being treated. Be aware of their "No Return" policy that their sales rep won't tell you. The bed frame I bought has a lot of sharp edges and I cut my hands and fingers multiple times while putting the sheet on or off. Ashley won't take it back or do anything even their product is not safe. I'm trashing it (with the mattress which is too soft for my back.) now. The demo unit in the store was fine - no sharp edges & mattress was firm. What a waste of time & money. Will never shop at Ashley again. read more

Do not purchase furniture from Ashley Furniture! 1. I bought two chairs and two tables. 2. The salesperson ordered the wrong chairs and had them delivered to my home. 3. I refused the chairs and was assured that a credit would be issued within 3 to 5 business days in January. 4. The correct chairs were ordered and delivered, but one was damaged, so I returned it. 5. I received a call stating that two replacement chairs will be delivered. The truck came today, and the driver said he had to pick up two chairs. I explained to him that one chair had been returned. I spent an hour on the phone with the store, and finally, the two chars were delivered, and the one was picked up. I mentioned the problems with the delivery to the driver, and he said that Customer Service is very bad. Time to shop for a sectional and and when I went to Ashley's this morning their hours had changed to open at 11:00am. This gave me the opportunity to go to Haverty's, which is in the same parking lot. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Ashley's and have even bought furniture from them before...the prices are exceptionally reasonable but I found a sofa at Haverty's while I waited for them to open. Aside from this, their furniture is very reasonable and nice looking. The associate, Nichelle, was very friendly and professional. We spent a long time sitting, taking photos and packing our brain with numbers. Overall, a nice store. I may be back to grab one of those sectionals. read more
