West Chester location not and I repeat not friendly or professional. Older tall dirty blond lady (manager??) is cranky and snobby. She honestly looks like she hates her job. Dark black haired pretty younger gal 30-40 age group never smiles- literally expressionless and looks like she hates you and her life. They both make you think you're the problem and I sweat this happens every time I go there!!?? I can't understand them or their reasoning behind why they act like this!!! Don't waste your time. I love this place. Unfortunately some of the condescending older women that work there ruin the experience. I had an absolute AWFUL experience at the one in Anderson... and every time i go into a Snooty fox it's sort of the same. I bought so much stuff and the woman at the counter sat up there and shame me and talked badly about me to the other women. I actually would consider it traumatizing as she was being very open about shaming me that day! Today was no exception. Taller slender woman w short hair and glasses. Absolute NIGHTMARE! Seller Beware!!! Brand Name ....Whatever!! I went to Snooty Fox hoping to sell some excess from my closet and my husbands. I brought in my bags and hangers of washed, dried, pressed mens shirts with matching ties VanHuesen, Geoffrey Beene, Hagger, Perry Ellis along with MK mint condition Saffiano Travel Satchel in Luggage several pairs of new Vintage Leather Clogs By GB and Stride Right that I had never worn. Several Tops by Notations, Elements, Calvin Klein, Worthington, Alex Marie, Michael Kors, Chicos. A Leather Patchwork Blazer, Fraaz Wrap, Dillard's Fur Two Sided Zip up Vest, Calvin Klein Sleeveless Fleece long Zip up, and 2 Department 18 Toggle Wrap Plaid Sweater Wraps and then I waited and walked around. After a bit the woman said after she eyed my things went through everything. We don't take Men's Clothes shoved a bag over them all and wrinkled them to hell and back. You can bring the Bag and Shoes back later. She took all the Notations and Elements Clothing and Leather Patchwork Blazer and Returned the other stuff WTF? Bring the other stuff back it is late August / September and already you're asking for Fall things ....Well? SERIOUSLY...okay I know they take Men's I looked in their section in the store and my things were really nice compared to the outdated crap they had left on their rack!! So don't lie to my face!! To keep all the really low end stuff and to return Name Brand things and fall/cooler weather things I couldn't understand and keep the Leather Blazer to sell. Ever hear that old saying if you have it they will come and get it!! Why wouldn't you want nice clothes in your store why advertise high dollar and sell low end things? It just didn't make sense. I returned about a month later only to be told we donated your things...okay this is where it gets good I asked the Lady after presenting my tag for them to check if I had any money. They told me they didn't sell any of the things I brought in and they had to donate it. So I decided to show them a picture I took of that Patchwork Leather Blazer with a Snooty Fox tag on it.!! Should have seen her face it was priceless.!! Apparently one of my friends was sad I got rid of it and went and purchased it for herself. I will never do business with Snooty Fox again and I will never shop there again!! They lie and rip people off and sell low end clothing. Snooty Fox is an upscale consignment shop with several locations in the Cincinnati area. My mom and my grandma love this shop, they take in their formal wear that can only really be worn once, sign it in, and then they get a call a few weeks later that someone has purchased it and they can come pick up their cash. I'm not a big fan of Snooty Fox because I prefer the instant gratification of places like Plato's Closet that give you money for your clothes the second you drop them off. At Snooty, they wait until they actually sell the item before you see any cash...granted, it is normally more than you would have received from a place like Plato's, but I just don't have the patience to wait. Snooty is a good place to go shopping if you are in the market for formal wear at drastically reduced prices; they only take clothing that is in really good condition so you know you're getting something nice. Many of the Snooty locations also offer gently used furniture at cheap prices, great for furnishing first apartments and homes...the West Chester location doesn't have much but they usually have a few pieces. read more

I can only speak to the shopping experience at this Snooty Fox location, as I brought in only one off-season dress and the staff very politely asked me to bring it back in the springtime. I was generally pleased with the experience at the store -- items were well-organized, and there was a decent variety of clothing varying from casual to fairly dressy. I happened upon a few gems (like a brand-new Nanette Lepore party dress) as well as a fair amount of typical consignment-store fare (Ann Tayor, H&M, etc). I particularly liked the blouse selection -- lots of stuff that reminded me of Anthropologie items. The shoe collection was a bit sparse, but otherwise they offered a decent selection. The home decor section did not meet my preferred furniture aesthetic, though I imagine that people who prefer a rustic or craftsy sort of home decor vibe might be excited about the household items. Overall, prices of both clothing and home items were moderate (not too pricey but not a superb deal), and there was a nicely discounted clearance section. Though I didn't make a purchase, I will definitely stop by The Snooty Fox again in the future -- you never know when a great item will be in stock! read more

I took a designer dress that my sister bought for prom from Snooty Fox in West Chester back to Snooty Fox in West Chester with the tags still on it and they wouldn't accept it. Somehow it wasn't good enough for them even though it clearly came from them. So pathetic! And boy were the rude!!! Yes, snooty is correct. These young girls think they are working at Tiffiny's. I brought in several pieces of high end new clothes and shoes. I called maybe two or three months later and I got a whopping four dollars. The sales girl said that what doesnt sell they give away. My take is there are thieves among the sales staff. They need to invest in a program that logs in the clothes and shows you your inventory sheet. I have gotten this at another consignment store in a town out west. I never consign things anymore because I have been burned several times. Remember these people get everything for free..they just have to pay for sales staff and overhead. Just terrible. Disorganized, all transactions are done by hand and on paper - REALLY?!? They will grudgingly take your items to sell, not provide you with a list of the items they took OR the prices they sold them for, then make you wait MONTHS to get paid the pittance they agree to give you and give you attitude when you ask the status of your account. The people working the counter are hit and miss, but mostly miss. It's hard to believe that with their antiquated, disorganized way of doing business and their lack of customer service that they've managed to stay open at all. read more

Don't go to Snooty Fox in West Chester to drop off your clothes. I just went and was "greeted" by Robin with a "you're gonna just have to wait", not even a "hello, how are you". Nice customer service...NOT. She was rude during the whole process. Snooty Fox doesn't have an electronic database of customer names so it took a while to find my information (my last name was spelled incorrectly). Robin also passed up in a brand new Longchamp bag, a winter blouse from the Loft and other good brands in good shape...when I asked why she passed up in some the items(I told her it would be good to know so I could determine if it was worth it to try to go elsewhere) she said it was because that is what SHE decided on. She also said the blouse was summer, even though I bought it in December for a holiday party. Rude, Disorganized, and not a lucrative trip. Why go here when there is Poshmark.
