This is the best ice cream I've ever had. The flavor choices are excellent and they rotate in new flavors regularly. They also have some lower sugar choices that are delicious. Ices, too. Lots of fruit, chocolate, caramel, nut, cookie dough choices for those who have preferences, otherwise, just have fun trying something new. The portions are generous. Staff is friendly. Service efficient. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Bathroom. Reasonable and fairly priced for this quality of ice cream. They also have homemade chocolate candies. You can get pints or other sizes to go. There is a children's toy box. Very child friendly. Table and chairs and additional comfortable seating. Plenty of parking. Great quality ice cream! So many different ice cream places to choose from when you're in Angola but This has be new favorite and closest to Lake James! Win, Win. Next door to Caruso's. From the outside, it doesn't look very special but once you go inside everything changes, nicely updated. The most important part of every ice cream joint is the ice cream itself. This place is super cute! The owners did a great job decorating and it was very welcoming. They had a huge variety of flavors. I went to cookie dough and lemon poppyseed. I don't see lemon poppyseed very often and this one was delicious! The lemon wasn't too overpowering. They also offer some specialty chocolate treats like truffles and turtles for those who aren't in the mood for ice cream. We plan on going back the next time we're at my in-laws lakehouse. This place is fabulous! The inside was very niche and well decorated! The ice cream was even better. They said that they get their ice cream from Wisconsin and you can definitely tell it's made with love. It is so creamy and rich. I can't remember the name of what I got but it was absolutely phenomenal and it has peanut butter and chocolate but with a vanilla base. Their waffle cones are also very amazing! They offer more than just amazing ice cream, they also have gourmet chocolates and some crafted cold brew/ cold coffees that looked scrumptious! They also have a rewards punch card and I will be using that for a free treat next time I go and visit my mom up there. Hopefully going to try the crafted cold coffees as a pick-me-up. Stopped by this cute little place after eating lunch at Carusos, which this place shares a parking lot with, and it was truly amazing. The inside definitely looks like something designed by Chip and Joanna Gaines, and the ice cream is absolutely delicious. They have a caramel flavor that is their best seller that is an absolute MUST GET. We tried 6 flavors for $7 and every single one of the scoops we tried was amazing! read more

Just blew past this place next to Caruso's & turned around. Boy are we glad we did! It is SUPER CUTE & has plenty of indoor seating. The hand packed ice cream is plentiful with more than 25 varieties. Shakes & floats are also avail. Gluten free is clearly marked. The owner was behind the counter & was incredibly nice to share information about their products. The ice cream is really good & trucked in from Wisconsin. I had 2 scoops in a cup: Mint Avalanche & Peanut Butter Cup. Hubby had Banana Cream Pie (OMG so good) & another fudge something he can't remember. Of course leave it to the man to pay no attention. I need details! It was super reasonably priced, $5.93 for ALL! Yup...now that's a deal! Portions were good sized too. We will definitely be back. The hours will change on May 1 & they will stay open 7 days a week. This will be their first full season so please, as you're heading in or out of Lake James, Jimmerson or Crooked Lake...stop at The Social & show them some love.
