Stopped here for a quick and easy dinner while staying at a nearby state park and wasn't disappointed! I got my favorite, the chicken tenders and fries with country gravy to dip. Their food was consistent with the food I'd get at any other Chill & Grill which is the goal! The service wasn't the most friendly I've ever had but far from being bad service. It's not hard on a Monday night to order: A large New York Cheesecake Blizzard A large Reeses Take 5 Blizzard w/peanut butter topping & extra pretzels. We get to the pick up window & am handed the "Reeses" blizzard. I correct the server and say "Take 5". She says "yes, Take 5". I'm waiting for the other blizzard. She hands me a small New York Cheesecake blizzard. I ordered a LARGE. I bring that to her attention & she shrugs her shoulders & proceeds to tell me I was charged for a small. Hubby wasn't happy but said OK. We drove over to park & eat. My beautiful Reeses Take 5 Blizzard with extra pretzels & peanut butter sauce. Or so I thought. I start digging in this thing like I'm mining for freaking gold. Ummm no pretzels. Wait! This thing has no peanuts either. What the hell is going on here? No caramel. And no peanut butter sauce. You've got to be kidding me? I just paid EXTRA for NO PRETZELS, PEANUTS, CARAMEL OR PEANUT BUTTER SAUCE???? Yep I sure did. You know, if I wanted a damned Reeses Cup Blizzard, I would have ordered one. I did not. It's not rocket science folks. You had ONE JOB! It's YOUR recipe and you can't even follow it? This DQ is usually very good and the owners are awesome however I had an experience that didn't make me feel like a valued customer f from one of the employees. I ordered an ice cream cake on their 1/2 off ice cream cake TUESDAY special for a birthday with all the birthday names put on it. I ordered this on a TUESDAY. I was going to pick it up later that day but my forgot because we had a lot on our mind for a trip to northern Michigan. Once we were in michigan I contacted the DQ and talked to a gentlemen that I forgot to pick up the cake on Tuesday and asked if I could pick up when we returned in a few days with the store still honoring the 1/2 off Tuesday price. This gentlemen said it would still be the 1/2 off price. I stopped in the moment when we arrived back in Indiana and the woman at the register said she couldn't honor the 1/2 off price. I told her that I had talked to a man on the phone and he said they would still honor the price. Since I saw two men working in the kitchen from my viewpoint I asked her "could it be one of those men I talked to?" Without even asking them, she ignored my request and said she could only take 20% off. I replied that if I had know they wouldn't have honored the 1/2 price off as the male employee told me, I wouldn't have purchased it. It's not a super big deal, but as a customer I didn't feel valued and that's even after I called ahead of time to ask an employee first if they would still honor the special price. In ending, I will ask for a name or pay for it in advanced so I have some sort of proof - the employee seemed like she didn't believe me... In ending, this DQ is usually decent store with integrity but now I may have to do my business elsewhere. read more

Went through the drive thru about 8 pm last night to get the usual chicken tender box and I get back home and realize not a single one of my tenders were even remotely cooked... Seriously, the worst Dairy Queen I know of. The service is so terrible. I haven't been there in a while because every time I had gone, I was ignored. I saw someone drive away without their food in the drive-thru ahead of me because they had been waiting so long. I saw someone else take pictures of the teenagers in the back talking to each other instead of preparing food. The good news, I guess, is that their sign on the road now says that they're hiring a whole new staff and management. It's sorely needed. read more

If I could give below a one star I would. Went there today to get a blizzard. The girl brought it to the window turned it upside down and it all fell out all over their window and all over my car. I told her it was on my car and she said she would get me another one of the blizzards . No sorry no apology just charged my card and gave me another one. When I got home I tried and tried to get the dried mess off my car. I called them back and asked for the manager and told her what it happened she already knew about it. She started telling me different things I could use on my car when I ask her for my money back she said she couldn't do that she would have to give me another blizzard.
