All materials / clothes were easy to grab down and try on. They had a small fitting room to try on tshirts and other items. They had a great selection of hats with awesome designs but at $35 for a snapback they were over my budget. I was also disappointed that the design that caught my eye, a ski lift, wasn't available in any of the designs on the floor. Perhaps because we are moving into the summer season of apparel but a bummer to miss out on a sale because you have a design on the wall but not on the floor. Salesperson was helpful when we made it to the counter with our purchase but did not really engage us before then. When I went to the register to pay for the sticker my wife wanted I saw a great phone case. The design was a pattern of all of their icons on a black background. The case was simple in design but had a good weight and stuffiness to it. Price point was $25 which is not too bad for the design and quality. I'd like to check this shop out again in winter and see if they have more of their winter themed designs available. In the meantime I am enjoying my new phone case.

The ladies working there were incredibly friendly, upbeat, helpful, and never pushy. They quickly helped me find exactly what I was looking for in my size and made the whole experience enjoyable. I might add the prices were very reasonable! What really stood out was what happened after we left. I accidentally left my wallet in the store, and they went above and beyond trying to find me--searching for my phone number, looking on social media, and doing everything they could to get in touch. After searching through almost every restaurant in Truckee, they found me about an hour later, after they closed! Their honesty, kindness, and effort meant so much to us. Who would go that above and beyond? They would. Great clothing, exceptional service, and truly wonderful people. Definitely a 5-star experience, and we'll absolutely stop in again when we're back in Truckee!

Over the 40 years I've been skiing, I have not met anyone with more knowledge of the human foot & what a good ski boot fit is like and that includes several good orthopedic surgeons. What makes Cosmo great is his personal tireless efforts centered on the individual. Where other shops may have 2 or 3 boot fitters, with Cosmo Footwerks, Cosmo IS IT - he is a craftsman. So if there is a line of people waiting to see him and he is pressed for time or has other priorities, then someone's service may take a hit. But if you schedule with him, be on time & be patient you will come away with happy ski feet - priceless! More than anyone I known in this sport, Cosmo stands behind his work. You can come back as many times as needed to get your fit right. Not only does he continue to work with you but he remembers your particulars, even if it was some time ago. Pat is a true gem in the ski world. He does great work, charges a fair price to all (not just locals). If you go to see him, call ahead and scheduled a time when he's not so busy. If necessary take a day during the week, you will enjoy the shop and Truckee when it is not so crowded with weekenders.
