They have a section of $5 earrings that I always gravitate towards, and they have a good selection of inexpensive hair clips. The customer service is friendly and they are happy to answer questions about the products or help you find something specific. The only downside is the last time I went, I asked about a specific item I've bought multiple times under the impression it was local/handmade, but found out it isn't. Stumbled upon Mo, Jo & Zoe while walking downtown Truckee. Such good vibes in this shop! The owner was so friendly, helpful, and sweet. You can find funny mugs, bath bombs, greeting cards, cute hair clips, a wide selection of jewelry, unique stationary, stickers, women's clothing, and shoes. I found a cute pair of snowshoes that I'm so excited about. And found some cute gifts too! I thought pricing was good. Definitely will be back next time we're in town again. read more

Cute selection and friendly staff! A little pricey, but to be expected for a boutique. I went in looking for a silver necklace with a stone pendant in the shape of Lake Tahoe to commemorate a final weekend there, and they had just that! It's delicate, but still feels durable, sterling silver, gorgeous, and they gave good care instructions to go with it. I even picked up a pair of gorgeous silver and aquamarine drop earrings that are my new favorites! 10/10, would get gifts here and devote time to shopping and spending any Saturday. read more

There were some really beautiful and eclectic items in this store. I was able to purchase some cute bracelets for my daughters. The ladies in the store were very helpful and inquisitive. I don't think they are use to Yelpers coming in taking pictures. We have a few more days to be in town so I will visit them again before we leave. read more

Super nice staff and beautiful jewelry, things are a little pricey but I understand because COVID-19 has had a impact on store's especially local ones. I got a gorgeous owl necklace and a fun sticker. It has lots of gifts for friends. I did not look much at the clothes so I am sorry to say I can't say much about that. read more

Mo, Jo, and Zoe is so disappointing...if you're a dude! So what was I doing in there? Well, obviously I followed my wife, but somehow I didn't find myself searching for the obligatory man chair here, which speaks volumes! Nope. Instead I was browsing the amazing selection of clothing and accessories picking out things for her and finding gifts for all sorts of friends and family! The merchandise here is eclectic, hip, cool, totally approachable, and pretty darn affordable too! I actually compared the price of an item to what I could find online and this little boutique in Downtown Truckee was actually less expensive! The stuff here has lots of artsy flair of individuality, and that's what I love to see on my lady, and secretly how I wish I could describe my own style! At this point, I know your in suspense and asking "Did he make a purchase?" The answer is Yes! I couldn't help myself. They had so many really cool gifts that I had to get something for someone who just may be reading this review. SO... Great deals, but cheap quality. Very disappointed that they wouldn't exchange an item that was defective. I bought several bras for my daughter and several other items. Needless to say we spent around $200. The straps on one of the bras ripped off the first time she put it on. They refused to exchange it even though they saw my American Express charge from a few days earlier. I tried calling numerous times the day it fell apart but no one ever answers the phone. Great locally owned store with cool stuff! This is a cute little shop to find neat jewelry, cool clothing and gifts. We have been coming here for years. The owners are Truckee locals and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. They source a lot of unique pieces from local artists. I am OBSESSED with the tank tops from this store. They come in a wide array of colors and make excellent camis underneath your work clothes, also for working out. I have about 20 of them! They are stretchy and wear well even with years of wear. One size fits all and as long as you don't put them in a dryer (hang dry) they keep their shape forever and don't pill. Mo Jo and Zo is surprisingly affordable, especially compared to some of the outrageous prices on the downtown Truckee strip. Absolute must stop shop when passing through this town.
