Through my chiropractor in Bee Cave, Dr. Cash, he introduceintroduced me and recommended me to Claire, she has been the most amazing massage therapist I have ever had hands down. I am so happy that I can rely on her every time, the issue in my past was I would find a good massage therapist at a local massage place and before you know it they're no longer there. At The Gruv there are two wonderful massage therapists to choose from (one male, one female) and an esthetician on site as well. Very welcoming aesthetics. Super clean and calm environment. They have a snack and beverage bar for your convenience. Booking is a breeze. I could go on and on, but I'll just say "go!" Please just don't take my time slot? Lol. Morgan is my go to. She offers several different massage styles. Morgan has a lot of experience and always makes me feel like I'm floating on a cloud when the session is over. I had and have some neck issues; the first time I came in I could not move my neck to the right at all. Peter has such strong hands, he knows what trigger points/reflexology to press to release the muscle(s). This type of massage though is not gentle, it's really to release tension and it may hurt a bit ..but you will come out feeling amazing. I'm sure you can always ask for more or less pressure. I've since moved away 30ish min away but I will continue to come back here! I'd only suggest that they make their music a little longer and ask if any guests would like a heat lamp. As someone who gets massages regularly, I have a lot to compare this to. Unfortunately, the massage felt weak and the therapist didn't seem very knowledgeable about addressing tension in those areas. Overall, it wasn't a good experience and I left without any real relief -- it felt like a waste of both time and money. On a positive note, the space was clean and nicely decorated.
