Never a concern with fitting folks into the space even though it is very small for a bar. You will need to slide between tables and chairs. Just factor to keep in mind, but this is not an issue as most folks try to be respectful of one another. During a pop-up yoli tortilleria event got to dine on sonoran style hot dog, masa shio koji wings, summer veggie esquites paired with chips by yoli, and finish with strawberry ice cream sandwich ( High Hopes & Corn cookies) It was both filling a delicious. If I space in my stomach I would have for sure ordered seconds. It can get a little warm in side, so be ready for that too if you run on the hotter side. They have so many drinks and snacks on the regular menu. So dont think you missed out by not attending this type of pop-up. Can garauntee there will be more in the future!

First and foremost, what a random but fun little location near to Yoli's and within eyesight of the Kaufman Center! We walked in at XO and were greeted by the host, and we sat ourselves at the bar. The drunk menu has a fair number of options, and as long as you and your group are up for some inventive cocktails (but not tooooo out of the realm of possibility), you'll find something on the menu for everyone! Loved the vibes with the vinyls being played and mixed while we were there! Can't wait to go back and enjoy more of their libations!

I was able to get some awesome incense and trinkets. I attempted to squeeze myself into some tiny jeans on the sale rack! I got them on. lol I just couldn't walk. I think they were in the 0-2 range. If you are that size, they have 2 cool pair of jeans on the sale rack! I found a rad pair of overalls which I wound up purchasing and a rad, bucket hat too. The couple (I'm assuming couple but a man and woman) running the place were very nice. I thought all the prices were reasonable! My overalls were the highest item but I think they were around $50. My cool bucket hat was only $11. A box of incense cones were $1.25- $2.00. I'll definitely be back in!

If you want to remember the glory days of the 60's & 70's pop on in - they still exist here and challenging the current day status quo is more important now than ever before. You can get you a Deadhead sticker for your Cadillac or VW Van, the coolest hippy clothes for the next festival, incense by the bucket load, candles, art - mass produced and locally created, a room full of vinyl and every inch of the place is filled with something more cool than what you were just admiring. I picked up a few stickers and a zine as gifts. I'm not sure why it's been so long since I was last in here, but any trip to Westport going forward must include a stop in to recharge the soul and pick-up something to enjoy or to gift. Long live It's a Beautiful Day and all that it represents.

Having grown up in Lawrence when you had Kief's and…read moredoing record hunting the first time around I found it rather soul soothing to go into a place again and thumb through a thousand records again. Some are new, some are used. Place is packed with records from one end to the other and you have to navigate in/around the people there which is how it was done in the old days. I remember finding 'The Information Society' in downtown Lawrence as a teen, was funny to me in that I was picking up They Might Be Giants first release, and the Big Science release from Laurie Anderson. Things I did in the late 1980s once before. I hate feeling like some old person saying 'back in my day' but there is a sense of contentment to flip through a huge selection of sounds, seeing things and deciding if based just on the cover if it's worth spending your hard earned money on. Something playing over head selected by someone who works there, finding something new, it was a shared experience that I think we miss now with everything algorithmic and solo. The only downside being that it's hard to balance a solid selection in a physical location, I'm sure compared to 'online' but there's nothing quite like flipping through records and finding something you were looking for. Solid pricing for a retail location in downtown, you're not going to buy 11 records for a penny like Columbia house but you won't be disappointed with the selection and the hunt.

Also a good selection of 45s which you don't always see around the area. If you live in KC and are looking for records, make a day trip to Lawrence and the Love Garden.
