Today, though, I walked into Julian's - and lo and behold - it was the same Julian from Woo who's opened his own place!! So excited about this - I just don't do facials, but my talented friend Kimberly Mack - seriously, if y'all need makeup done for anything from a special date to a wedding, call her (you can find her on FB) - asked me to come in. OMG (and I really don't like that acronym but that's all I can say). Nicole is a genius. I filled out a lengthy questionnaire about everything from skin type to medicines I take to diet....all so she could figure out how best to take care of me. I came in because Kimberly asked (I didn't know they've only been open a couple weeks!) and I was very nervous - pedicures are my domain but facials - eep! Nicole handled all my anxiety with such grace and she made sure to use such skin-appropriate (they use Caudile products) products and was super-attentive to my skittishness - she told me it would be the highest compliment if I fell asleep in her hands - and I did! Seriously - it was like getting a massage - she even worked on my hands and feet! BTW - they offer you water or wine when you come in but you won't even need the wine because it is so completely relaxing to be in such good hands. I left with samples and a cute new makeup bag - and I think I've got to go back, at least for a facial in a couple months (summer's end? sounds about right!) and some of that amazing smelling lotion she used on me - I still smell delicious. But something happened over my last two visits to this place that absolutely ruined my skin. I had scarring from persistent back acne that I used to have and went in for a chemical peel to help lighten it up. Some kind of chemical was used in the treatment that felt WAY too hot, causing me to physically wince and cry out. I made it clear to the aesthetician that whatever it was was too hot on my skin and felt like it was burning much more than it should. It is normal to feel a slight burning sensation during a peel but NOT to the degree that this was. Over the course of the peeling process a large scar formed over this area and showed bright skin pink like you have with a deep cut. I was concerned but was assured that it would heal and go back to normal. What has instead happened two months later is an even deeper scar that was NEVER there before. Had I not gone in for this treatment there would be absolutely nothing in that area of my back. My skin looked 10 times better before I went in for this. My mother noticed what was going on and was concerned. I went back a second time to express my concern and get a peel to see if the lightening would improve. It didn't. It's even darker than it appears in pictures. These treatments are expensive ($150+) and I should without a doubt be improving not regressing. Words can not express how disappointed I am with Eryn and her service and feel like I am starting back at square one with my skin. I will never give my money to this place again and encourage you to do the same.

My experience here was absolutely perfect, Angela is super knowledgeable and honest when it comes to her prices, products, and what she thinks would look best for you if you're not 100% sure on making a decision. The day before my appointment I was texted thorough instructions on how to reach her office, which was very helpful because navigating to it was quite challenging. There is a parking garage and also a few parking spots before the gated community area, but the spots are sparse. I recommend doing free street parking along the area, either the sidewalk in front of StudioPlex or the residential streets nearby and walking to the clinic, which will be through the walkway you see directly under the big StudioPlex sign. You have to walk quite a bit into the walkway, and eventually you'll see the clinic's sign out front. The interior of the clinic is clean and decorated nicely, with info pamphlets about the products being used and services offered. Through the entire process--consultation and procedure--Angela gave very helpful advice and I ended up adding on a botox treatment for my TMJ while also providing aesthetic results. I definitely would come again, you're shown immediate before and after pictures, and despite the differences the end result for me came out so natural and exactly what I was hoping for! Angela's also very generous about helping figure out pricing and pay, which I greatly appreciated!! I definitely will be coming back, battling in the race to book with her on the appointment schedule is 100% worth it for me!

This was my first time having any injectables done - I got filler in my lips and arrived still needing a consultation and professional opinion. My appointment was at 9:35 am on a Sunday at the studioplex location. I was nervous about the pain of injections after googling how bad it would hurt the night before but Angela put me at ease and totally accommodated me (had me lay down in case I passed out, iced my face, etc). I arrived about 30 mins early and Angela was able to see me about 20 before my actual appointment time, super considerate of my time. We had a brief consultation and talked about being conservative but still achieving the results I wanted. She numbed my lips for ~15 mins and they were good and numb by the time she started injecting. I am very particular and perfectionistic so it was a big leap of faith to trust someone with my face but Angela just gets it. My results are beautiful and she specifically said in my appointment the goal is to make it look like your lips, but better - not make it look different. I didn't know exactly the amount of filler I wanted and she basically said she would inject until it looked great, ended up using about 7/10ths of the syringe. Definitely the kind of professional to make the choice to send you home with beautiful results rather than try and sell another syringe or treatment just because she can. The injections felt like someone was just pinching me with tweezers, not even as bad as a bee sting. So so quick and easy. No pain after and hardly any swelling! I have a very light bruise 2 days later but it looks like nothing happened to anyone other than me. Literally everything could not have gone better. I think I walked out 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start, so efficient. I will absolutely be back for Botox and recommend Angela to anyone who asks!
