Wow! I was very impressed with The Spa Lounge in Draper! To start, I really appreciated how easy it was to book online and make any changes I needed. Then, once I arrived the front desk staff was all very welcoming and the place was incredibly clean and really nice. Finally, my deep tissue massage with Shelley was one of the best I have ever had. I woke up at 0800, took my temp which was over 102, and then I called at 0811 to leave a message to cancel because they were not open yet. I received a call at 0944 saying that regardless of my illness, I would be charged with 50% of the total. I would not have enough time to even drive there at this point. I was told "wear a mask". This week my partner and I had a 90 minute deep tissue couples massage here and it was great! We're visiting from California and had never gotten professional massages and we had a wonderful first experience here. I thoroughly did my research when looking for day spas with couple massages and looked at both Google and Yelp reviews for places to consider. The check-in process was quick and easy and the receptionist was kind and pleasant to talk to. We were lead to a changing room where we had lockers containing slippers, a robe and a small mint/chocolate treat. The changing room is communal and small but had all the amenities we needed with an attached bathroom and a changing area with a separating curtain from the lockers. We were then lead to a lounge area where we waited for our massage therapists to fetch us for our session. They had an assortment of teas and water available for us and the lighting and ambiance was very relaxing. We didn't wait longer than a few minutes before our massage therapists came to introduce themselves and lead us to the couples massage room. I appreciated the brief consultation they had with each of us individually to address specific areas of focus and need for the massage. I had Cassidy and my partner had Haley. They were both nice and we enjoyed our massages very much. I've had recent neck, shoulder and lower back pain that is attributed to me working from home more and Cassidy put extra time to address these areas and was very receptive to the changes of pressure applied to different areas of my body. My partner said that Haley did the same and focused on the particular areas of his body that needed more attention and the pressure applied during the massage was perfect for him. He was so relaxed that he fell in and out of sleep throughout the massage! The hot towels applied to my back and feet were wonderful and the lighting and musical ambiance were perfect to set a relaxing tone throughout the session. I appreciated that after the massage Cassidy and Haley waited outside the room to debrief with us and gave us water. Overall it was a great experience! The spa had relaxing vibes all around from the smells, music, lighting, decor and customer service. We highly recommend for folks who come to ask for Haley or Cassidy. read more

I went to the Spa Lounge for the first time today and had a prenatal massage with Audrey. She was amazing!! I have had a few other prenatal massages and several other deep tissue massages prior to getting pregnant (due to chronic back and hip pain issues) at other spas/with various massage therapists in the Salt Lake valley. My experience with Audrey at the Spa Lounge unquestionably surpassed all previous experiences. I will definitely be back. Would highly recommend to others! read more

I am a long time customer at Spa Lounge, I used to be happy with their services and enjoyed my experience there but my positive opinion has drastically changed over the last few months. I have gotten them a lot of service from friends and family as well and I have put a stop to referring anyone I know to them because of how frustrated I have recently been with them. Many situations and instances that have been frustrating. Without telling every detail on each situition I at least want to say to not trust a single thing any staff member says to you, MAKE SURE you see it in writing. They have screwed me out of a good chunk of money by trusting what the staff says to me and not verifying what they said to me on their website or their customer agreement. I also got a positive COVID test so I needed to cancel my appointment 20 hours in advance.I literally didn't feel sick and didn't know I had COVID until 20 hours before my appointment, I called right when I found out and they gave me grief about it saying I would still be responsible for 50% of the amount of the massage if I canceled. Woa! (They have a 24 hour cancellation policy even if you have a positive COVID test). They finally said, I got special permission to "waive the fee this time but never again" and I said, so if I'm ever sick again or get COVID again then I should just come to my appointment sick. A manager said, "well yes or you should just be ok with being out the money." They had no hesitation to letting me go to my massage appointment even with COVID-19. YIKES. I hope anyone that is immunocompromised is aware that they are not taking any precautions to prevent exposure to COVID-19 or any other sickness really. There are multiple other things that have happened, I just done have time to type it all out but basically they will never be getting my services again. I am the last one to complain about a company and I never do bad reviews but I felt I needed to post this. I let a manager from Spa Lounge know that I was going to post a bad review to let people know how terrible their customer service is and he says, "I don't respond to threats well." Haha!! It wasn't a threat, I wanted him to know that I was frustrated enough that I felt a bad review was necessary. RESPONSE TO Diana's reply- You mean the $50 gift card that you immediately canceled because of my post. Shows a lot about your company. Also, it was $50, not close to the money I'm out from the misinformation staff told me. And I didn't want a gift card, I wanted my money back but at least it was something. Anyone that knows me knows I'm not an "entitled person" not even close. I'm honest and reasonable and they can't admit that their staff made a mistake. EVERYONE, please save yourself the hassle and get your massages elsewhere. Who reads every word of the "agreement", I skimmed it, I did not say I did not read it. I got the Gel-X nails done on 2/18/22. They were done by Lydien, and she did great! She paid really close attention to the shape of my nails, and spent a good bit of time tweaking the shape so they looked good (which didn't bother me at all!). She also trimmed my cuticles really nicely. The only reason I deducted a star is because I was left with a bunch of hardened gel underneath my nails. Other than that, I'd totally go back! read more

They are receiving one star only because their is no ability to give "NO stars". I've had several nail appointments with the Draper location. Sadly, the front desk has been one disappointment after another with poorly trained individuals that seem to be reading off a scripted answer. The manager was condescending and not helpful either. They booked me with a different nail tech without notice, were not agreeable to moving an existing appointment to 90 mins later and so on... just difficult to deal with and quite frankly were more interested in repeating their "policy" than listening to a client and attempting to keep that client. Their services are "ok" for what they charge, not anywhere near the expertise of what we are accustomed to receiving in Las Vegas. What a joke. I had an appointment today at 4pm. I got stuck at work so i needed to reschedule. I was told that even if i rescheduled it that i had to pay 50% of the price because "the therapist works on commission ". I want canceling the appointment, just changing time. Why couldn't that money be applied to the next time. They would have received the commission either way. Sometimes the customer has things pop up. If i were looking to cancel, then that's on me and i should pay. But to change the time slot?? Clearly not in the people business, only in the business of looking out for themselves! I found The Spa Lounge randomly on Yelp about 2 years ago and have become a semi regular. I'm a massage therapist myself and tend to be very picky about who I go and see - so it was a blessing when I found this place with several therapists I enjoy seeing. It's a small day spa with a nice atmosphere - a half dozen rooms and able to accommodate couples massages. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. Booking is super easy online, over the phone or in person. Prices are extremely reasonable and the have packages or monthly options. read more

I have wanted to like this location but after multiple times of being disappointed, I am sad to say this is a waste of time and money going here. Yesterday I showed up for an hour long deep tissue massage. The lady that works up front has a horrible attitude. Plus, I think I overheard she is management which makes sense as to why this location has gone downhill. The receptionists are pleasant. They ended my hour long massage 10 minutes early. I asked for FULL body. The masseuse did my legs once over, in less than a 50 seconds; I was absolutely shocked. The pressure was mild; not deep tissue. I left feeling like I hadn't even had any work done. The last time I went here I took my mom. They made her do her teeth whitening manually, by herself. I mean my mother basically just paid for their product. What is the point of that?! We are not picky people, so we were both extremely put-off. I love this location but their service is not up to par. I've been to spas all around the world, and I guess this passes if you've never experienced better. Also, I tried to schedule an appointment a few months ago here for my friend and I. We ended up not being able to go because they were so confused on scheduling. I wish this place was better. The membership is NOT worth your money either. We cancelled after my mother and I's experience. Every single time I've gone here, I've been more disappointed than satisfied. I ended up going to the Murray location even though it's not my favorite; the people working there have much better service. Either way I'm looking for a better spa in Utah. Their services are overpriced and the staff is un-educated in their fields. Also, they just let anyone do some of these services. That's why my mother had to apply her teeth whitening herself. The women that basically just helped her open a tube of teeth whitening gel, openly admitted they were understaffed for the day and overbooked. She had no prior experience in that field or license to perform the whitening. Most states, teeth whitening is illegal outside of A dentists office. If not performed professionally and properly, it can cause more damage than good. Save your money. I don't typically leave reviews unless something awful or something incredible happened. Well this was incredible. I have only had a massage once or twice, years ago. I received a gift certificate for The Spa Lounge for my birthday and immediately booked a service. Boy i'm glad I did. Right off the bat i was impressed with the space. It's in a very convenient location, beautiful building, and it's very private. I was led by one of the receptionist up to the lounge, where my masseuse soon came to greet me. They gave me the option to wear a robe and slippers, or to just undress in the private room. The waiting lounge had water and comfy seating available. Once i got to our private room, Jenelle did a consultation with me and asked what areas i prefer to work on, what pressure i like, any areas off limit, and any other preferences. She gave me adequate amount of time to change and get under the warm blanket on the bed (which is heated by the way). She started with gentle pressure around my back and shoulder area, then placing a hot towel on my back. She checking in with me on pressure throughout the massage. Jenelle was AMAZING!! She focused on the areas i requested, but made sure to massage all other areas of my body as well. The oils felt amazing, and her touch was exactly what you want in a masseuse. After the service she gave me as much time as needed to change, and then was waiting for me with a glass of water when i finished. Checkout was smooth and i was able to leave gratuity on top of using my gift certificate. Even though i never get regular massages, I'm adding this to my self care routine and will be back at least once a month if not more frequently. Received a call not from the owner assuming the so called person at the front desk, 4 hours after my appointment at almost 9:00 at night. That they didn't want me to come back as it was taking too long to do my waxing. Although they don't want to admit straight discrimination that a man dare come.in for a wax appointment. They want female clients that they can do quickly and maximize profits. The asstitition was very unprofessional complaining that she had to cover for 2 other employees all day that had called out. Expecting her to stay for another appointment but she needed to leave when done with me. The owner is extremely unprofessional and doesn't care about the clientele . Well I don't usually write long reviews but I have worked in management for retail/hospitality for 10+ years so here we go. This spa lacked a lot as far as a spa like feel. Booked a bundle for a massage and facial for the first time since before Covid. My massage and facial was great, however, for this location to be brand new there was a lot it lacked. The women's locker room wasn't the greatest. No mirrors, one shower with 0 products. It's a huge place (2 levels) with a ton of massage and facial rooms but 0 amenities like steam room, sauna or jacuzzi. The waiting room was sterile with bland couches, no fresh fruit, just water and tea which is alright. I mean you get what you pay for $150 + tip. The front desk girl needs help and/or training. 0 urgency and lacks customer service. When I arrived, no help with my locker, my name wasn't on it yet. After I had asked where the waiting room was she gave me attitude like I should've known. The initial guest experience should be smooth, warm and welcoming. Furthermore, I got locked out of my locker and she had me waiting for 15 min with no one in the lobby. I had to go back to the lobby to find her talking to another employee and her response was "she forgot sorry." As well as since I bundled, I couldn't use the new customer discount. I even called to double check this and was told yes. All in all, it was a good massage and facial. Establishment alright. Train your front desk properly. read more

I had a deluxe pedicure here 5 days ago. The paint is already chipping & was so bumpy and uneven. I've only worn open toed shoes 2x since the pedicure since my work doesn't allow open toed shoes. My husband paid 65 dollars for me to pamper myself and I could have painted my toes better on my own. Maybe their other services are great & maybe I just had a bad service provider but I expect WAY more from a pedicure at a spa. Super disappointed. read more

Now why should I have to pay for a 30 min massage when you are only able to give me 20? It's the principle. I was gifted a massage for Christmas and the whole process of booking and getting the massage was great- staff at the front desk were well informed and booked me for a next day appointment, and the location was not hard to find. Now, the LMT I was treated by was Thea, and she was fantastic, very considerate and really gave me one of the best massages of my life! She even took time after to tell me about my problem areas and how I can get them less tight between massages! I love this place! First, it always smells so relaxing. Maddy, at the front desk, is very friendly and welcoming. I have had several craniosacral massages with Andy. I am extremely tight on the right side of my body. Andy is the first person to really work on loosening the muscles and helping with my migraines and headaches.
