I started in the steamroom to get into relaxation mode. Then Olivia came to get me and she was the 'strong hands' i requested and then some. She found every knot in places i didnt know i had them and never let up - which is what i asked for. She beat me up in the best way (iykyk) while responding to feedback when the knots were too tender to handle it. This type of trigger ppint is what you want when you've got tension that wont quit. It was perfect and I left tension free.

I am a big believer in healing massage and should be going much more frequently than I am. It absolutely works, for your physical and mental wellbeing. My friend suggested we visit here because she had a lot of credits and wanted to gift me one of them. (We had originally planned to go up to the Crater for some relaxation, but weather was doing Utah weather things and this was a safer option for doing a heckin relax.) She comes here a lot and has earned them being a loyal customer, but it was still very kind of her to offer one to me. We both prefer a more feminine touch, and in order to both have a massage therapist that fit our preference we scheduled our hour massages back to back. I am forgetful, and have forgotten her name, and I'm sorry, but she was fantastic. I would definitely come back again. Apparently another new thing that's popped up in my adventures with anxiety is that I am uncomfortable putting my face in the donut hole, how fun for me. She was awesome though, she said we could modifty it so I could lay on my back and sides, like they do for pregnant people. I was nervous, but this turned out fine. She had a great sense of how much talking I felt comfortable with, and I found her easygoing and kind. I only wish I could remember her name. They did have extras, or "enhancements," you could add on to your massage, such as hot stones, CBD, or aromatherapy, but I decided not to do anything extra. The temptation was there! The value of a one hour massage is $100, and they did have square so I could tip appropriately even though I did not have any cash on me. Again, this place had great vibes and I loved my massage therapist and her willingness to accomodate my weirdness. It is nice to go somewhere for a treatment and feel better than comfortable. I would absolutely come again when I am next in the area.

The atmosphere was great and the place smelled incredible. I had really high hopes! The massage that I personally had was not much of a massage but a gentle rub. I was hoping to release tension in my upper back and neck but the therapist could not quite get deep enough or help relieve that. It was relaxing, but I would not pay for the service again. My husband had a different therapist obviously, but he also said that he felt like it was not a deep massage to relieve the tension, but more of just a gentle back rub with oils. Honestly we could have saved the $200 and rubbed oil on one another for the same effect that we got.

I booked two apts, one for 30 min facial and then a 30 min massage for me and my Mother for noon. We drove an hour from where we live, arrived about 15 mins early for the paperwork and noticed there was only the three workers cars in the lot, so we were like wow we are the only patrons here :) We waited a few mins in the lobby and a sweet lady came out to greet us, took us to a couch with a cute fireplace, the music and setting was nice. She brought quite a bit of paperwork to fill out- the questionnaire seems excessive and was taking some time to complete.... She came back with water and asked if we were done, we weren't even half way, with medications to surgeries and so on.... She came back just before noon and said,... "just flip to the bottom and sign it, I don't want you missing your massage" Ummm we are the only ones here and this is a mound of paperwork for a massage and facial. So we didn't finish them, followed her downstairs to a cute locker changing room. She gave us each a key for a locker and there was a white robe, slippers and a chocolate peppermint patty on top. She again told us to "hurry and change then come out" Good Lord, we are at a day spa TRYING TO RELAX, not HURRY! Geez My mom is elderly and she was really cold, it is January. She got her massage and I got my facial then we switched places. My facial was nice and I loved the steam but at the end a really loud kitchen timer went DING right in my fetching ear, she said "times up" but it startled me and burst the whole relaxation thing. My mom loved her neck and shoulder massage but continued that she was freezing. I told her the facial room had a space heater and to have her turn it on!! I got my massage and Craig was awesome! My Mom came from the facial and said she couldn't even feel the space heater and shivered the whole facial. Her hands were frozen! We changed and went upstairs, there was a beautiful tray of food. Fruits, coffee, juice, nuts and chocolate. That was nice! We went to pay and it was over $200 with tips. My mom said "get to the car, I've got to turn on the heat...." She's 70! This was sad because we traveled so far expecting a more relaxing and warm experience, spent so much money and why the heck were we being rushed like that?? No one was there when we left either but us! All in all not overly impressed which I wanted to be. The reviews on their website site are different than on here. Craig was awesome I just want to make that point. We both agreed on that and for that reason I may return and bring my boyfriend who's never had a massage but I don't want to be RUSHED!! I wish I had told her that straight up the first time she asked us to "hurry"- We aren't here to "hurry" we are here to "relax"

She then brought us water and took us down stairs to a very nice bathroom with lockers and a big comfortable robe. We then met our massage therapists. They were two very friendly girls that explained the process and provided an amazing relaxing environment. The massage was one of the best I have had. They invited us to stick around after for snacks. Every thing about the Millpond is high end and a very comfortable. It's not your normal strip mall spa experience. Really bad experience with a massage therapist this evening. I felt sooo uncomfortable and we were…read more5 minutes into the massage. I asked her 3 times to stop the massage. Three different times. I wish the receptionists would've had my back and could've helped me. Neither one of them asked me what happened or said anything when I went to the desk 10 minutes after my massage started. Her name is Cindy. Back in January there was a note to not pare with me with her because she does the worst massages. No technique, just rubs back and forth and it hurts. Really bad massage. Rubbing skin back and forth with lots of friction and talking non stop asking me questions outside of the massage. When I asked her to stop the massage the first time, she goes "tell the front desk I say hi" in such a smirk voice. I was shocked. I said "excuse me?" Still hands on me. She grabbed my right arm and dug her hand into my back shoulder blade. I have been icing it since I got home. I asked her the second time. I said "I don't know where the button is to call the front desk people in. Can you please stop?" Didn't stop and wouldn't take her hands off. I lifted my body and of course I'm not dressed and was pulling the blanket up around me and I said "I want to get dressed! Please stop." It was so bad. I'm waiting to talk to someone in charge. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. And I am so unimpressed with the receptionist and other employees.

It is great for my physical wellbeing as well as my mental well being. My face never felt so clean and relaxed as it does. I had my brows done first since that isn't quite as relaxing as the facial. I was so tense, more than once I had to be reminded to relax my forehead as I was furrowing my brow. After the facial started, I felt literally like I was floating on a cloud. This feeling has stayed with me, although dimmed a bit, for the last four days. I was so relaxed and I could feel the stress rolling away from the moment her hands touched my face. Nikayla does all kinds of facials- Custom, untrasonic, high frequency, luxury, chemical peel, back facial, body scrub. I don't know what half of those are but I am determined to find out! Waxing of brow, face, lip/nostril, bikini, brazilian and underarm. I'm pretty sure I understand what all of those are and will NOT be finding out personally. LOL I have seen some of her work that she does on eyelashes. She does a Full Set, 2 week fill, 3 week fill, brow tint, lash tint and eye enhancement. I love that she is available on Sundays. This makes it easier for me as far as time goes and I can go after church. I'm not an evening person to have these types of services but think it is cool that she has late appointments. Nikayla is one of four people who are at Mist Spa. The waiting room itself is very relaxing. There is another Master Esthetician, a License Massage Therapist who specializes in Swedish and Hot Stone massage. The fourth person is an Esthetician that specializes in Classic and Volumne Lash extensions. She also does natural and special event makeup. Having a facial and wax with Nikayla.... will be a regular health service for me now.
