I absolutely love the laid back atmosphere in this salon. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere with friendly and professional employees, this is the place!! I needed an appointment last minute, and they worked with me and got me in. Not only that, but I was going in for a touch up on my roots, and generally have a very hard time trusting ANYONE with my hair. Victoria Palmer did a fantastic job giving me the EXACT look I wanted. She was so much fun to talk to, and you could tell she actually loves what she does and is passionate about making sure you get the look you want, so that you feel absolutely amazing. Very attentive, so friendly, and her prices for $40 less than I could find anywhere else! I asked her pricing on a few other services, like full eyelash extension set, and their prices for that are $50 less than I've been quoted just about anywhere else. There's no doubt I'll be back. Got a mani pedi. Very good for the equipment they have. They don't have a usual chair and tub for the pedicure it's a small disposable tray thing that is placed in a plastic bin couldn't have cost more than $50. I didn't pay full price, I got a groupon and it was worth the groupon price not advertised price. They did a good job and it is Shellac i just don't feel like i got the same type of experience that you can expect when you get "pampered" couldn't relax or feel comfortable the shop felt thrown together not very professional. read more

First off I want to say that all the ladies at Beauty Trendz are amazing! Over the last year there has been a change in ownership, and in staff. A lot of these reviews are super old; and I wouldn't take them too seriously. I honestly don't think any of the nail techs referred to even work there anymore. If you are looking for hair Becky, or Mur kill it! Becky has done my color and cuts for the last year; and now does my husbands, and sons hair. Mur is somewhat of a jack of all trades. She is Beauty Trendz massage token massage therapist, and has been a practitioner for over 20 years. My husband and I have both received many massages from Mur. From deep tissue, to structural, to Swedish massage Mur has got your back! ;) And if you're looking for nails Megan is super put together. She gave me my first painless shellac removal by drill! I was pretty impressed. She also loves what she does, and gets pretty creative with her design and detail. The best part of Beauty Trendz is that they are affordable in all there services! My original review is at the end of this review. After seeing my review, the owner of Trendz contacted me. As I understand it, their shop was overwhelmed after offering a Groupon. The person who did my nails that day was licensed to do a manicure or pedicure, but not the type I wanted. And that was not her specialty. To make a long story short, they made it right and Tammy did my nails and did a great job. Through all of this chaos, I have finally found a manicurist in Utah. It was my first time purchasing a groupon deal and it was a terrible decision. I really feel bad that I have to leave such a bad review but I have to as it was the worst manicure-pedicure I've ever had. The lady that helped me was very nice but unfortunately I paid to get my nails done well, not to talk. I usually get my manicure done by someone else but do my own pedicure. I am pregnant though, so I decided to treat myself and have a professional do it. Not only were my toes barely brushed, my feet still had all the dry skin, calluses, and the nails weren't even cut. I could have done 100,000 times better than that. I went home, and everything was such a disaster, there's no way I could have gone to a wedding with those nails, it just made me so angry. I had to remove everything and just put clear nail polish. So I wasted 1:30 hours of my time, my money, and will waste more by getting a new manicure-pedicure somewhere else. When I saw my my mother-in-law that night and told her about how bad my experience was, she said literally: "you didn't go to Beauty Trendz don't you?". And then she told me how bad of an experience she had a month ago as well and she asked to be refunded and won't go there anymore. I will definitely never recommend this place. read more

Staff was friendly and the salon vibe was relaxing. However my nails were not cut, cuticles or calluses were not removed. No hand soak either. There was no manicure or pedicure performed in anyway. I paid basically to have my toes and nails painted. My gel was a light color and only one coat was used so on certain parts it is see through. My previous polish color wasn't fully removed. While the ladies were nice, I will never go back. read more

I purchased the groupon deal fo my mom from here and regret it. She had the manicure shellac and pedicure shellac. The manicurist did not do anything to shape her nails or clean her cuticles. She didn't even have a nail clipper in her kit and had to borrow it from another manicurist. Even though the price was for a pedicure shellac and manicure shellac, I paid basically for a nail polish change. My mom told me to never buy a groupon for her again :( Unfortunately, I purchased a groupon from here for myself before my mom went. I really hope my experience is not as bad. read more

Becky is an excellent stylist/barber who is very detail- and client-oriented. She always takes her time to ensure the client gets exactly what they want so plan your schedule accordingly. I went in for a mani pedi. The girl that helped me was really nice and I feel bad leaving a bad review but it was honestly the worst mani-pedi I have had. It started chipping the very next day. I called in to see if I could get in to have it fixed or get a partial refund and I was told that the girl who did my nails was only available on certain days. I asked if I could get in with someone else because I couldn't do the two days she was available due to work conflicts and she told me no. I asked for a partial refund and again was told me no. My husband gave me a groupon for a gel mani and pedi for Mother's Day. it was the worst mani pedi I've ever had. The owner did my nails and she didn't trim my cuticles, just filed my nails and slapped the gel on there. It was very lumpy and unprofessional looking. I went yesterday and today, not even 24 hours later, my nails are all lifting and peeling. The girl who did my pedicure was just as bad. She was running behind, so all she did was trim my toenails and paint them. She didn't try to get the dead skin off or massage my feet at all. She smeared polish all over my toes and didn't even bother to clean it up. The polish that didn't smear is already chipping. What a waste of money. Now I have to pay for another babysitter and go pay someone else to fix the mess Trendz created. read more

I typically don't give reviews but my experience was not a good one. I purchased a Groupon and glad I didn't pay full price (wish I wouldn't have even paid the Groupon price). The staff was nice and friendly but I had the worst pedicure and manicure ever. I called for an appointment and they said they could get me in. I ended up with two different ladies. The one that did my nails was clearly inexperienced and not organized. I had shellac and she tried to paint my nails twice without going under the UV light. I had to ask her if that was correct (as I knew it wasn't). So she took the polish off and started over. Then I had to keep reminding her the turn the UV light on. I didn't even get a hand massage. She seemed very pre-occupied. Then my pedicure seemed like she just started doing this and she was also dis-organized. The items that were used on me seem cheap other than the polish. When I was done the lady just walked off and left me there. I had to move stuff over off the floor just to get up and leave. I have had many pedicures and wish I could give a better rating but it was not a good experience. read more
