I am absolutely blown away with my experience here! Several of my friends have been coming to MaxHealth for years and I finally decided to give it a try. Erin at the front desk was so welcoming, happy and helpful. I asked a lot of questions about insurance and she knew all the answers. AC was my massage therapist and I'm not exaggerating when I say, he gave me the best massage I've ever had in my life. I've been getting massages for years and this was another level. He truly knows how the body works, were to focus the pressure and coached me on breathing through the areas needing more focus. He checked on my comfort and the pressure throughout the massage which I really appreciated. They also have a nice pillow you can request if you need relief in the chest area. I am breastfeeding currently so it was nice to not be completely flat on my chest. Dr. Angelica did my adjustment which was quick and painless. I hate hearing my body popping but I know how bad I needed it! I love how quick and easy she maneuvered me. She was confident in her movements which helped me relax into the positions. Erin at the front desk is so helpful with scheduling. The massage therapists are all very nice and very skilled. They offer so many things like cupping, scraping, deep tissue and much more. Dr. Lucas and Dr. Angelica are the best chiropractor drs. They work one on one with each patient to help with any issues they may have. You not only get an hour massage but a 15 minute adjustment. Let me start by saying I had a wonderful experience at this office today. They are always accommodating so if you our experiencing pain they can usually fit you in right away. When I arrived, they already had a bunch of people waiting. I kept looking around because no one else looked like they were in pain like I was. They may be the regulars. haha The young lady that scheduled my appointment already advised me of the payment schedule. I was trying to get a massage along with the Active Release therapy, however, they didn't have a masseuse available for me. This place seem to have several massage techs - Kind of like those places in Koreatown or those $45 massage places in California. The doctor that handled my adjustment was Canadian. I don't remember his name. He was really good though. He listened to my concerns and then started focusing on my neck and jaw since I was complaining about some teeth grinding. As soon as the adjustment ended, I felt lighter. 100% better. Now I just have to see how long it lasts. The doctor recommended that I come in once a week. They also have an office on Eastern that's open on Saturdays. I'm hoping to try out that office too. The adjustments are given out in the open where everyone can see you. When I was sitting in the waiting room, I could see some of the people lying down on the benches. Everyone looks so happy leaving though. Anytime I need some maintenance on my body MaxHealth is the place to tune right back up. They can get pretty booked up so most of the time you have to make an appointment in advance. I have gotten lucky only a couple times where I needed to see them ASAP due to whatever pain and get same day appointment. I usually go to the Rancho location, the front desk, massage therapist and Chiropractor are always excellent. The facility is clean and they always have parking. I wish I came to them earlier!! Years of chiropractors even traveled to California to get help, I finally found Dr Angelica! She has a magic touch, she's the only person who was able to fix my neck with lasting effect !! It took my migraine away instantly!!!! 99% of chiropractors treat patients like a number it's how quickly they can get you out to fill another or that they are good for the first time to earn your business and it's downhill from there ....until I found Dr Angelica !!! She listened attentively to everything I told her ...she then carefully adjust and even massage sections and give tips on exercises. Giving 1 star for cleanliness and that Dr. Rich is in fact- nice. But the rest is directed to the fact he hurt me on my 2nd visit (unintentionally) Been a month since I last saw him and the back pain has not gotten better, in fact- worsened. Sleepless nights and had to go see 2 other doctors to correct the damage. Coming from the Bay Area where the care is exceptional, and I've diligently seen good doctors...this was not ok. Referred to this place by another athlete, I hoped for amazing care with good understanding to sports, but this was far from it. I don't believe Dr Rich meant to hurt me but the adjustment was quite forceful, and tears were bursting out. I squealed and said "ow ow owwww", and he said "did I hurt you?".....Immediately after he pushed on my back using his entire body, I knew trouble was about to rage. The accuracy of his adjustment was completely wrong and I was mortified. Before going in that dreadful day I called their receptionist Re: a 2nd visit since 1st one was "ok". Since he's close by, figured I'd give him another shot, and this was how the convo went: Me- "can you ask Dr Rich if I should come in for a 2nd visit since my back is still flaring up? Or if I should stay home and keep it calm?" Receptionist - "you should stay home" Me- "uhhh...is that the doctor's order or are you suggesting that to me yourself?" Receptionist- "hold on please.....(comes back in a minute)....yes, you should come in for a visit" Like, WTH!?! Seriously? Didn't know a receptionist could make a decision like that and be so OFF. The combo of being stunned by the receptionist's decision-making and driving home in tears that night, my regret weighed heavy. Conclusion- never going back. Again, Dr Rich is nice but wont be referring this place to anyone who is serious about healing. read more

I can't say how much I love Max Health and recommend them to others! Dr. Rich is awesome! Miriam is a lifesaver, best therapist I've ever had! I've been a patient for a couple years now and they have helped me immensely. I've dealt with herniated discs as well as other issues that have been treated and corrected. I find that the therapeutic massage that I get before my chiropractic adjustment to be super helpful. All of the therapists and doctors listen to what's going on and help solve the pain I've been in. I love this place! Very friendly staff. The first 30-40 min I got a massage by the masseuse then they take you into the main room for your adjustment. I have lots of lower back pain from standing all day at work and I'm glad I found Max health to help me! read more

Excellent first time experience today at Max Health Center. I booked and went to appointment within an hour. Thankfully they were able to fit me in. Deep tissue massage before by Anthony was excellent, he released some spots my current therapist has missed. Nice to be relaxed a bit before adjustment. Dr Ford was great, perfect adjustment, not to agressive, but not too light either. Nice bedside manor as well! Plus! Carolee at front desk was very pleasant and informative too. This place is amazing! Have been twice and will not want to go to another chiropractor. They incorporate massage and stretching (approx. 45 min) prior to the chiropractor adjusting you. Miriam is an amazing massage therapist! She specializes is sports stretching so if you are an athlete she would be ideal. Even if your not she is great at what she does. I loved their location on Eastern and was a regular there for a couple of years until I moved closer to this one. It's in a nice area off the freeway but it just doesn't have the same vibe as their flagship location.. Both girls I had were pretty socially awkward when I tried making conversation with them but it just sounded like they didn't want to be there. Also they don't yet do x-rays at that location, if only they could hire friendlier more socially open therapists like at Eastern and get that x-ray machine, I'm set but I'm pretty disappointed :( Hopefully this all changes soon.. read more

I have been a long time patient at Max Health since 2010. Since the first time I went there I have been a loyal patient. Max health has taken really good care of me over the years. Being a cocktail server (now stay at home mom-still tough on my back and body) you can only imagine what happens to our bodies. I was so glad when a friend told me about Max Health. I use to go to location on Eastern which is about 20 mins with no traffic. I was so thankful that an office opened up nearby (fort apache location). I have been going to this location for a little over a year now and Dr. Rich is great! I started going due to some back problems. I went to a different chiropractor for it, also did PT and pain management (didn't want surgery or addicted to pain meds). None of it was giving my back the relief I badly needed. With the help of Dr. Rich and the massage therapist (can't rem her name) at the time that specialized in cupping (amazing). I started to get the relief I needed. I currently see Aaron for my massages and I can't believe how awesome he is. He is very knowledgable and really takes time to work on areas that are bothering you. I woke up one morning and my neck was in excruciating pain and couldn't move it. One visit at this location and 75% better after visit and 2 days later pain gone and I could move my neck again. With 2 kids and a busy life, I'm thankful they are always able to get me in. Thank you Dr. Rich, Aaron and entire staff for help fixing me when I need it. Don't know what I would do with out you guys! Anyone in need of a quick fix to long term problems this is your place to go. They care about their patients and know what they are doing.
