Out-of-towners had an amazing time in an eclectic establishment. From the staff to the patrons, beyond friendly. Thank you for a great time!! Karaoke rules!

A great place for the witchy girlies. Took my girls here once on a goth-bar-crawl, and this was the first stop. Great ambiance and interesting cocktail menu. The night I went there were tarot readings (although it cost $). They host a bunch of shows so be sure to check their events before going or half the bar closes and then there becomes limited seating!

If you like to keep your senses entertained this is the pace for it. You could spend the whole day in here and still miss some of the interesting decor. I had a lily dale which was served in an ornate teacup with an eyeball floating in it. Sweetly sour. I followed it with a standard mai tai which is my go to. Jake is great. There was also the opportunity for karaoke and pool.

My band recent played here. It's a unique space for those willing to DIY. The staff were supportive with accommodating our needs. Main bar area is in the room adjacent to the music area.

My friends and I decided to give this place a try. I love the atmosphere and the esthetics of this place! There's a bunch of cool art work and figures on the wall. The drinks were great. I tried the daisy chain which was tasty but also nice and strong... just how I like it ;) The werewolf fries were unique and tasty. It was basically fries with fried chicken and sauce but it was delicious and worth the try. One thing that I didn't like was when I asked the bartender for their recommendations they proceeded to list the drinks on the cocktail specialty list rather than getting to know my preferences and giving me a solid recommendation. Other than that, I had a great night out with my girls.... P.s. there was someone there playing records which was awesome and really fun to listen too! Overall, had a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

I'm cajun born & bred. I spent the first 30 years of my life in Lafayette, Louisiana. You can take my word when I pass judgment on cajun food. . . This place made me feel things that I haven't felt since I left home. The atmosphere and clientele are exotic, spooky, and weird like New Orleans. The food is decadent, delicious, and prepared with love like in cajun country. The staff and owner are hospitable, accommodating, capable, and warm. It was everything I needed after moving up north. Specifically, you need to try the cocktails "dark shadows" and "the resurrectionist". The former is a dark rum concoction with ginger, lime, soda, and molasses bitters. The latter is a spicy blend of jalepeno tequila, habanero moonshine, and citrus fruit. Both are equal parts refreshing and potent. The Shrimp and Grits stole the show. It made me feel things. Great things. Familiar things. The flavors brought me back home to the bayou. I cannot stress enough how much you need to try it. . . If you can't afford a vacation to NOLA, try the spirit room. Louisiana loves you.

It's Halloween all year around! Very interesting place! I was here on a Wednesday night and they had a film going on a projector and a pianist playing some dark old school Halloween type music. Very cool. They have an extensive drink and food menu. I had a spicy tequila cocktail which was full of flavor. Staff and owner are very friendly and welcoming. Staff will ask for proof of vaccination and you must still wear a mask when walking around. This was surprising.

Definitely a place you have to check out if you're in Rochester!! Lots of Variety of Cocktails here. Interesting recipes. Bartenders are pretty damn awesome!!! Good recommendations and ensured everyone had a great time! Shows/Music happen at this amazing Gem too!! Great entertainment events!

My favorite bar in Rochester. It's the first place I saw Charming Disaster play live. Drinks are well-crafted and creative. The food is pretty good too.

Most amazing bar in Rochester!! Recently took a friend visiting from Israel and it was the highlight of her trio $10 gets you a tarot card reading $1 gets a poem recited just for you! Bartender Jacob just won best in the city! He makes a mean drink full of fresh herbal overtones, fresh squeezed juices ... so delicious! Crazy cool interior. - feels like it's a old as Rochester itself but has only Been there two years. Be sure to check it out!

So happy to have this nice little addition to the neighborhood. There is something for everyone here whether it be a date or group hang. We've got light yet filling bites a la Southern influence, cocktails, mocktails and a few beers and wines. There's even tarot card readings for the more daring souls. It is haunted by good vibes, spirits and a book collection. I'm a big fan of the food. I had dinner and drinks with @ebbbster and we enjoyed everything. The salad, hot chicken and tacos were all wonderful. The shrimp tacos are bomb diggity and they're my favorite. Crispy shell, juicy shrimp, spicy and a perfect side of beans.

Was better when they had their own cook, but he was let go and replaced by a dubious hot dog machine and a ghost kitchen. Shame.

I have not tried food from this place, but the service and ambiance were wonderful. I love the occultish type decor.

Cool little out of the way bar that has live music and a tarot card reader. What's better than that.

If the kitchen is supposed to be open until 11p don't tell people they can't order food at 10:50pm. What's the point of hours?

We live two hours away but will definitely be back. I can't say enough about this place, the drinks, the food and the music by Dave Turner was amazing. If you have not been there, it is a must!!! Again, kudos to Dustin an amazing server and person and to Sean the bartender. Memories for a lifetime!!!!!

You need to know the secret to getting past the gatekeeper as this is a speakeasy setting. (Figure it out on your own, that's half the fun)!!! Once inside there was a smooth jazz group performing. The music was a lovely backdrop to the setting and not overwhelmingly loud that I would be screaming to be heard. You can have a normal level conversation and still enjoy the music. There were comfortable cushioned chairs with pub sized tables for seating. We sat at the bar as all table s were taken. The energetic bartenders filled up in on all the idiosyncrasies of the place and happily answered all of our many questions. They told us that it was quiet for a Thursday night and that the weekends were much larger crowds which would not appeal to me as I'm not looking for a club scene atmosphere. I was happily comfortable. The drinks are creative and include interesting combinations of ingredients. We shared three appetizers, the sliders (my favorite), spring rolls (the side sauce was great), and the tacos with a tasty crema drizzled over them. The staff let us tour the dining room, basically a Ramon Santiago gallery. (The angel was my favorite). We went to see the ballroom as well as I had attended a wedding there 37 years ago while it was still the University Club!!! It was the same lovely room I remember and brought back wonderful memories. My friend was staying there while she is having some work done at her home so got to see the guest room she was in. As expected from a historic building large windows overlooking downtown Rochester, a gas fireplace, and soaker tub. Beautiful space. Some logistic issues with heat and fan not working so this was her second room that hopefully the new owner will address. We ran into their new executive chef and they have done a great job in hiring him. He told us about future ideas they have for putting their thumb print on things and they sound quite exciting. I thanked him for the time he spent speaking with us and appreciated his enthusiasm and forward thinking. All in all a most enjoyable time at the Inn and would recommend a visit by anyone of any age. So glad we have a community that cares for its historic buildings and their importance to our identity
