A slight detour on a drive from Nashville to Atlanta lead me to a most delicious ice creamery called The Spot in Ringgold, Ga. I just met a client at The Spot Creamery. When I first suggested that we meet here she told me that she didn't know where it was since she had just moved to Ringgold. I told her it was where Dolly was. That didn't help her. She did find me in The Spot Creamery where Dolly Parton's mural is emblazoned on the exterior wall where Tennessee Street meets Nashville Street in Ringgold. (Dolly was married right here in town decades ago.) I'm glad to be the one to introduce her to a great spot where the service is great, the ice cream is refreshing and the ambiance is warm and friendly. Brookie dough - it's like a vanilla with fudge taste. I had rarely any brownie and cookie dough pieces sadly. Peach - more of a chemical taste than peach. Ambiance was great and people were super nice. The town it's in is very quaint. Great for families, kids, young people to hang out with, groups. Went Sunday 8/11/24, The place was quite dirty, there wasn't a clean table in the place. Also all their outdoor seating was dirty. So we had to go a city bench up the street! We have been going here often since they opened for business, and they have always been good at giving you your monies worth in ice-cream, well at this visit and the last visit about 2 weeks ago, the ice-cream was barely up to the the top of the cup, (i always order what's called 2 scoops in a cup). Getting quite disappointed in this place! It seems to be going downhill! read more

It's so nice to have this place in downtown Ringgold! They have a huge amount of choices in flavors ( even including No sugar added Which is very helpful). They also give you the choice of cake cones or waffle cones with really good portions. The staff is very helpful and really will help you and let you try samples before you choose.. I love their Milkshakes also... one of my favorite flavors is the coconut ....it is so good So if you are in downtown Ringgold you should really check it out. read more

This was a cute place with a lot of good unique flavors to choose from. Was very annoyed that you were only allowed to pick one flavor of ice cream unless you got a 2 scoop amount which is a huge amount of ice cream. If you want a normal amount of ice cream they won't let you choose 2 flavors. I would go somewhere else solely for that reason. read more
