We ended up getting Vanilla ice cream with cookies and creme as well as chocolate yogurt + cookie dough for our little one. Portion sizes were large and tasty. Pricing was $$ but so is most ice cream shops in the area. Service was quick and the young workers in the store were quick and attentive. The was our go to spot for ice cream while vacationing in Chattanooga! We've been here both times that we visited, and both times we left happy with the quality of the food!! The banana pudding shake was to die for point blank period!!! My wife had the hot fudge shake, and the kiddos had chocolate cups with andis mints pieces in them. There was absolutely zero complaints from them lol. They offer almond milk as well as oat milk options as well. Usually Dairy Queen and other fast food places that offer ice cream, messes with my wife's stomach but this place does not at all. The only complaint that I have is the price was pretty hefty. For two shakes, two kids cups, and an adult small cup, it was $41. That's literally almost an entire meal for the family at Chick-fil-a. We will still be back when we visit, but I think that there would be tons more people if the prices were a bit more reasonable. It's either vanilla or chocolate ice cream. But with that you add your toppings which get mixed into the ice cream. We went old school with cookie dough and macadamia nut ice cream. What was the magic was when they made it, they put the ice cream into a machine which then makes it a soft serve almost when it comes out. That was cool. Me and the group of friends were in town for my birthday and decided to walk the Walnut Street Bridge. We did and took some great pictures and on my way back saw this cute little ice cream shop. It was really hot outside that day so ice cream sounded delicious. The way this ice cream shop works is you get to choose between chocolate or vanilla and it could be either ice cream or yogurt. You pick your toppings which is $.40 per topping. And you choose a cup or cone. They take the ingredients and they blend it all together and put it into your choice of cup or cone. They were really fast because by the time I took my card out to pay they were handing me my ice cream. I chose to do the vanilla ice cream with Reesie's cup and caramel. It was really really good. My guess is that this place is family owned since there's a young kid maybe 5th grade that worked the register and knows what he is doing. I quite respect that. They don't have any preorderable creations. Everything you order has to be created by you. It's really simple though. You simply choose vanilla and or chocolate ice cream as the base with the style you want (shake, sorbet, ice cream) then simply add ingredients at 60 cents each (or 85 for certain ones). Here's what we got: Small cup of Chocolate ($2.95) Pecan topping ($0.60) Rum topping ($0.60) Coconut topping ($0.60) Small cup of vanilla ($2.95) Toffee topping ($0.60) The toppings are blended into the ice cream, and whoa, the dark chocolate was rich, and the rum flavor was strong enough to make me think it was REAL rum (nope, it's not). Man I devoured this thing! The Vanilla with toffee was also very tasty, VERY sweet, and both had a smooth consistency that made me smile. There is outdoor seating as well as indoor, and while we came in at a lull period, don't let that fool you because no sooner than us sitting down that the line became almost out the door long! They literally have a million flavors and mix it themselves with some swanky machine. He got a vanilla base, cheesecake, black cherries, and pecans. I've come here every single time I've been to Chattanooga except for once. This was probably my 5th or 6th time here and I still absolutely love it. It is by far, my favorite ice cream place EVER. That being said, it's my favorite because the ice cream is super fluffy and the toppings are blended in extremely well. I always go with a vanilla ice cream in a cone with some Oreos blended in. During our one month stay in the city, we went 8 times and that's how good it is. A few tips: 1. Skip the waffle cone, which is pretty lackluster. 2. If you do the chocolate base, do chocolate-related toppings too (e.g. chocolate chips, oreo, brownie, nutella, nuts), but not fruits. 3. Unlike chocolate, a vanilla base allows you to really taste all the toppings. I tweaked my toppings a little every time, and I think I have converged on what work best for me: Vanilla base, milk chocolate chips, nutella, butterfingers, cookie dough. Other toppings I've tried: Oreo -- good, but all it added was texture. Dark chocolate chips -- too chunky, too hard to chew, unlike milk chocolate chips Hazelnut -- couldn't tell it was there at all, maybe too pulverized? Graham crackers -- like oreo, it only added texture. Marshmallow -- couldn't tell at all. Brownie -- good, but only for people with a sweet tooth. Snickers -- I like snickers, but it's too sticky as a topping. There was (and still is at the time of my review) a 20% discount for checking in on Yelp, but it was not always accepted. To start of, they will ask if you want a cup or a cone/waffle cone. Then you will choose either vanilla or chocolate ice cream (or yogurt), then you pick your add ins. Once you have told them what you want, they whip it all together so it's like a soft serve ice cream. There are many many choices to pick from. I always enjoy myself each time I come here & I'm sure you may as well. There are a few tables inside and more outside. They also have a Frosty Paws treat for your dog.
