My Anti-Siphon Irrigation Valve with Flow Control (I had to google this; it is the main controller for all of your sprinklers; see attached image) was broken off, so water was blasting up above my house. The amount of water coming out was like turning on your shower at full blast. This occurred during a holiday at midnight, so I was worried. I contacted 7 people on Yelp; the Sprinkler Man (aka Peter) responded to my text message at 5am. His prices are slightly above average from what I looked up online; however, he gets the job done and uses high quality material; you definitely get what you paid for; I also considered it as a premium for coming out so quickly on such late notice on a holiday. He is super nice. He offered two opinions: repairing the system for a cheaper price or replace the entire unit. I decided for the more expensive replacement since he thinks that the system will break again. After he repaired my sprinkler system, he offered to come back in an hour to make sure everything was running correctly because he had to wait for glue to set. We had a leak that was coming from under the concrete of our front courtyard deck. Peter quickly located the problem by tunneling under the slab and literally fixing the problem by "touch". The leak was in a place he could reach but couldn't see. The alternative would have been saw-cutting the concrete to locate the leak and would have been expensive and created an unsightly repair spot on our deck. He went the extra mile, literally laying on the ground, to find and fix the issue. We also had him replace the manifold and solenoid valves on 2 sprinkler zones. His workmanship was meticulous and the system now works perfectly. Peter's pricing is very reasonable and he was very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and kept us informed every step of the way. Peter showed up on time and texted me 30 minutes before arrival. He fixed my wiring that was a mess from my Gardner trying to fix and adjusted the timer box to make sure it is working. He charges $50 to come out and depending on how long it takes and if he needs to use extra parts the fee may be more, but he will tell you.If it is a simple fix it may be just $50 for his time and expertise.
