After the first heavy rain in the desert this past week- my garage area dry- my front room dry and no build up of water. Thank you Hector

Hector with Desert Precision Landscaping did an amazing job with our front yard landscaping. I provided him with my drawings and he made them come to life. Hector listens, recommends and follows through. Hector and his team were easy to work with. I could always count on him if I had any questions or concerns. Till this day, we get compliments on our landscaping almost everyday. We highly recommend Desert Precision Landscaping!

Hector and his crew are amazing! We had a house built and the backyard was all desert sand. Hector worked with us designing a beautiful area. Concrete patios, pergolas, artificial grass and rock design with great plants. Also, landscape lighting showcasing the plants at night. Very pleasing to our senses. We get amazing compliments about our landscaping. We had Desert Precision Landscaping also do our front and side landscaping and people walking by always comment on how beautiful our yard is. Very professional and personable business!

    Backyard - Pool Area

Hector was recommended by a neighbor -- it was a great recommendation. He and his crew did a fantastic landscaping job on both my back and front yards - from nothing in backyard other than sand, he created great landscaping results (see photos). He's very easy to work with, gave good prices and is very enthusiastic about pleasing his customers. If I had any questions or issues, he took care of it. He did such a good job, that when I needed for some additional work, he made himself and his crew readily available. I have recommended him to my neighbors and friends.

Incredible patio and hardscaping work and irrigation repairs.

Their work is amazing, and fairly priced. Hector responds quickly and positively. Fully bi-lingual, he explains everything in detailed english to his clients and detailed spanish to his great crew.

I become aware of DPL from the many projects they have done in my community. I contacted DPL about improving my builder grade front yard and transforming my sand box backyard. From my first phone call through the entire project Hector and his team have epitomized outstanding customer service. I explained to Hector my vision and needs but that I also wanted his input and expertise. Hector created a plan that took my ideas to a next level design. Hector kept me informed throughout the project. He answered every phone call and text almost immediately. He was open to the changes I wanted as the project evolved. The result is outstanding. The yards look better than I ever imagined. Hector kept the project on budget despite my changes. Thank you to Hector and his team for a job well done. I highly recommend DPL.

Hector installed the lights and irrigation for our cactus garden plus the rock

Hector and his crew did a great job on our new home in north Palm Desert. Hector did grading, concrete, weed barrier, landscape rock, artificial grass and even installed lighting, and my drip irrigation system. Our new home is nice but our yard was nothing but dirt. And now it is transformed into our own private oasis. Hector knows a lot about his trade and always knew how accomplish what we were looking for. Special thanks as well to Hectors concrete guy Gonzalo. I'm a retired masonry contractor so I know a bit about concrete. I kinda think of a broom finish as a lesser skill in that its used so you don't slip on the concrete and it can also cover up a somewhat rough trowel job. Gonzalos broom finish is the best I've seen. Its beautiful. And great attention to detail. He knew the lower edge of my walkway would probably show due to the slope, so he pulled the form and finished the whole front edge. Its right in the front of my house and it looks great.

"Restora" is under new management and it is now called "Desert Concrete Restoration." I think the…read moresame crew is doing the same crap job because I've seen the photos from other reviews and I experienced the same negligent job. BE CAREFUL OF BOTH COMPANIES AND DO NOT HIRE THEM. I hired Desert Concrete Restoration to do a smooth concrete overlay to fix the terrible stamped concrete that another company did. However, Desert Concrete Restoration left a worse job than what they attempted to fix. I personally observed her crew members openly smoke marijuana ON THE JOB SITE (one of them would leave the job site to obtain his fentanyl fix from the drug house down the street and is now in recovery, which I PERSONALLY observed). Another crew member was the owner's son, who only worked for 2 hours per day. As a result of her crew's open and reckless drug use: (1) this job was ongoing for 2 months because the crew has had to fix their mistakes 4 TIMES, as they were not able to get the surfacing right; (2) the expansion joints are ALL crooked (only one was done correctly) and cut jaggedly and in a zig-zagged pattern, with cut marks laden throughout the sides of the concrete because the person who did the cutting job would openly smoke blunts while working; (3) the finishing is lumpy, uneven, and has excessive trowel marks, which are unevenly distributed; (4) there is no finishing or beveling on the sides of the concrete, which is similarly uneven, lumpy, and has dried sealant drip marks (despite the previous company's negligent work, the sides of the concrete were at least finished. Desert Concrete Restoration even ruined already-straight sides and finish); (5) the crew forgot, on a daily basis, due to the fact that they were working while high, to cover the filters of my pool, so concrete collected in the filter (one of them forgot a screwdriver in the skimmer for about 2 months). As a result, (a) I had to pay out of pocket to have the filter changed before the regular due date; (b) the owner of the company, when sealing the concrete unevenly and unprofessionally, broke the plug of the filter cartridge, which flooded my property and required me to incur additional out of pocket costs; (c) due to the fact that so much concrete dust (and a screwdriver) collected in the autofill filter, the autofill broke and the pool flooded concurrently to the owner breaking the filter plug, thus exacerbating the flooding of my property and causing me additional out of pocket costs. I priced fixing their mistakes and the quotes were in the $20,000 range. DON'T HIRE EITHER COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE SORRY. I've reported Desert Concrete Restoration to the California State Licensing Board and anyone who is a victim of their crew working under the influence should do the same. As a response to Anthony P's post: I believe this is a fraudulent response. I have never contracted with Anthony P., I've never communicated with Anthony P., and I have absolutely no idea how Anthony P. knows about my job. However, if there was nothing wrong with the job, then there would be nothing to communicate with me about to "fix," right? I think people who read this will be smart enough to discern the fraud, particularly from the contradictory response. Nonetheless, I have absolutely no idea who Anthony P. is and why he is responding. PLEASE EVERYONE BE CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT HIRE THEM!!

We started daily with a joker using our bathroom for 30 minutes every morning, that they showed. Then they might work 20 minutes, until there dead equipment broke. Then they would leave never to return. They said they could do the work in a month, they would move the furniture, and when done clean up, and wash the windows, they didn't start until a month and a half later. Said it would take a week, but after a month, I had to leave town, so they slopped a coat of sealer on it, and said they were done. So I left town with a garbage strewn pool, with dirty windows, coated in sludge from there expert bathroom, power washer. When I returned 3 months later, the sealer had disappeared, and all the cracks opened up, and there patching had chipped off. The owner came bye to look at it a week later, got down on her hands and knees and tried to pick off tape that was glued in the sealer? Said she might be able to get back to it in a month and a half. Well my house is a pile of patio furniture, blocking my guest room, and garage, so I said, this is a problem from 6 months ago, and I couldn't wait. So she blew me off. Her schedule not mine . Well long story short, it's a family run con job! Kimberly, her husband, and there person Maning the phones, Claudia, are all con artists. There workmanship is worthless, there guarantees are worthless, they do not stand behind there product. And they lie through their false teeth! Total tragic, unprofessional, band of "Desert Carpet Baggers!" Use anyone but Restora Con men! I started this last April, notified you then, notified you in July, then as soon as I returned. You had full knowledge of the issue, for 6 months. So then I guess I need to know what might have been your timeline. I did ask 4 times for a date, never got anything other. Than after Christmas... Well you sit in your house full of patio furniture, unable to use your patios, because a company you paid in full, can't schedule .like I said, I asked 4 times . So once again, you state false statements! Anyone interested in a class action law suit?

After requesting an estimate thru Yelp, we were immediately contacted by Desert Pride's owner and then our Project Manager, Ruben Aceves. Ruben called to discuss our project and then came out to our home within a day. He was extremely polite and accommodating, yet unassumingly confident. He listened, asked some questions, made some very insightful recommendations, took some pictures and sent us a solid estimate as promised. Once we retained them, Ruben was our phenomenal daily point of contact. He worked with us closely to understand and meet our every wish. He came to the house every day and texted throughout the day to let us know who was coming, when and what to expect. Ruben was so knowledgeable and laid back that he gave us advice on things we were considering doing outside their scope of work. (i.e. new front doors thru Home Depot and some flooring thru a friend of a friend.) The project turned out more beautifully than we imagined. Everything was completed on time and there were no surprises on pricing or timeliness. Even when we changed our minds on some of the details, Ruben didn't flinch or hit us up with a change order. I can't promise that everyone will get such amazing treatment, because we're just one customer, but I'll never consider anyone other than Desert Pride for any future needs.

Another was cheaper, but I didn't get the sense they were reliable, since it took two weeks for him to come out and another week to get a bid in, after I reminded him. Another told me that he just didn't want to do the work. He said it was a lot of work and he didn't want to be on one job for so long. Brickdancer was the sole company that felt good, and I'm so glad I went with him! There was no worry about anything, as Lee kept me informed the whole way. They work fast, did the filling with the City, got the permit and inspections, and kept the area clean. Fact is, Lee was so great that I added to the project and had him pour a new driveway. I do have more to do, but I have other work that needs to happen first. Once the next concrete and wall project is ready, I won't call for bids. I will call Brickdancer.
