I left with a few 1950s cocktail hats, a vintage fur cape in pristine condition, 2 large fancy Cinderella Pyrex dishes, a baggie of glass Victorian buttons, and 2 bags of 1950s buttons for $80. I can't wait to go back when I have 3 spare hours to give the place another detailed shop. I highly recommend coming here. The heavy heavy cigarette smoke within everything inside became pretty stifling as I walked through- esp the second one. A couple of open doors on the front and side does not help, nor did a few fans. I had to get home and shower and wash everything and even then I could still smell it. I do not recommend if you're an asthmatic.

My concerns and comments were listened to and my wants were accommodated. Bruce, the owner of the store, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He made excellent recommendations and made me feel very confident in my choice and preferences. I'm a tough grader but Strauss hasn't failed to put a smile on my face every single time. I will say that this place is usually busy throughout the year, which itself speaks of their service. So, be patient and you'll love the results in the end. And I have to say Bruce is a great guy to know.
