We went for lunch, ordered wings, sandwich and a beer. Lots of seating area. The server was welcoming. He gave me the beer to start with and then brought the wings, when i looked at the wings I didnt want to eat, they looked extremely dry (like sun dry). The sandiwch was okay nothing to brag about. Ordered a gin martini with no vermouth. The 5 ounce martini glass was less than half full. When she overheard me ask my partner if this was for real, the bartender said "but you asked for no vermouth. That's 2 ounces of gin." She charged us the full amount for a 2 ounce martini. First time to try out this Pub. Always loved the architecture of this building but never have been inside even when other restaurants occupied the space. Loved the openness of the space. Tv screens, big bar is what I would expect at a bar and Grill. Went on a Tuesday night which featured $7 burgers. Of course had to try it and was a very good burger for the price. My guest and myself also tried the calamari as an appetizer which was quite good and nice presentation. I order extra spicy Caesars and they were quite tasty with a nice dill pickle and picked bean as garnish. Service was good, but the place wasn't that busy. Love this tavern, the food is excellent and love the interaction with the staff. One suggestion with the increase in craft brewers would be to feature the London and area craft brewers and ciders. Great establishment to enjoy some sports or company. The atmosphere of this bar is very unique from others in the area. The staff is very friendly and prompt with their service. Jason the owner usually makes an appearance and is sure to make your visit exceptional. I've had the privilege to enjoy this bar on numerous occasions including Wine Wednesday were they sell half price bottles of vino. If you're a little hungry the appetizers are delicious. We used to go here when it was Villa. The inside is much the same. Seating options include booths, the bar and tables. There is a loft table that I'd like to try next time. Nothing special about the décor, but neither is it boring. The menu is on the small side, which should allow them to focus on what they can do well. We visited at lunch. I couldn't have anything from the lunch menu, so they very kindly let me order from the dinner menu. My guest enjoyed the burger ($10). I had the fish in chips, two pieces of fish coated in potato chips ($17). The potato chips that come with the fish and with the burger are served room temperature, not hot. Draft Coors Banquet (16 oz.) are $5.25). Our server (Sye) was very friendly and welcoming. She encouraged us to come back to try other dishes. We plan to take her up on her offer. read more

Meh. I went to watch the football game and if that was all I wanted...success. We didn't get approached until 10 minutes in for our order after being immediately welcomed. Got there to an empty house at 845pm on a Thursday left with the place pretty much full. From the midway point of the halftime to the two minutes into the fourth quarter or about 30 minutes we sat without empty water glasses and empty beers. Never got to order a third or a fourth. Staff was nice but not attentive. When we left many tables were sitting on empty for drinks while the two girls waiting on tables chit chatted with a few select people and pulled Bud and Bud lights from the tap. Presentation of food could be improved. Our food took a long time to come out and then while we ordered some food to go our server forgot to put the order in and we ended up waiting even longer for it. The food was good though. The atmosphere of the pub is nice its just a bit packed and hard to get by as the tables are really close together for the space available. read more

Upscale, but friendly, bar with good food and great deals through the week. Giants screens for watching sports and occasional live music. Great place to mingle, especially before and after events at Budweiser Gardens. Owners in the house who are responsive to customer needs. Would actually give this place a 3.5.. the first time I went here with friends, we loved the atmosphere, food was good - try the fish tacos! But the service...the service needs improvement. Having to wait for your drinks because the server decided to have a smoke break in the middle of serving our table lol! Hopefully next time is better. read more

We ate at the Squire before a concert one evening. The stuffed squash is delicious, a little loud, decent price, good service, a tad small and cold inside. Overall good, for accessibility the washrooms are down a flight of stairs so not ideal. read more
