The food and service were excellent. I had the Rib Steak (Med Rare) prepared perfectly. My husband had the Cioppino which he said was extremely good. Nice wine list. This little gem was the best place we found all day in our travels. When we went in to sign up for a card, we received $15 free play and were told to go to a certain area to play. We had a great afternoon. The slots were loose, we won a nice amount of money and time passed as if it had been minutes, even though we played almost 4 hours! At lunch at the clubhouse. The club salad was great, the sweet potato fries were bomb! The place is grimly decorated in burgundy wallpaper with damask patterns. Super gloomy looking, and it could use a good scrubbing. Small casino, very smokey even in the afternoon when the place is pretty empty. I personally will never return to the stables casino again me and my wife went in there on September 29th about 10:30 p.m. with my wife's service animal which is a bullmastiff terrier he's a big puppy Buddy's friendly is going to be but he is also smart is going to be I was walking him through the casino to see the bells and crowded affection I told security if I had a problem I would leave okay I had no problem with him walking him around through the casino you can watch this on your video okay I walked him around the casino twice outer walls walking him by everybody and Buddy the dog's name was not paying attention to nobody okay I walked him back up to his mommy my wife and buddy sat down my wife was talking to an older couple I was just won some money on the casino and the lady asked if she could pet him and I said my wife said yes when she reached down to pet him your security guard Brian who had been following me the whole time and then rude from the time I walked through the door stepped up close to my dog scaring him and my dog put its paw up and bumped the lady's hand and so they go oh I guess he didn't want to be petted not oh I don't get I'm scared at all and her husband was petting the dog she proceeded to pet the dog until Brian you're rude security guard stepped up and crowded the dog and me scaring the dog into twisting and it's collar and making me have to calm the dog down three times because of his intense presence against the dog okay my dog has never acted like that before and never will again okay Brian is a rude person I am going to put this all over Yelp all over Facebook all over Google and I will be contacting Brian's bus Becky on Monday they take a legal service dog out of the casino and left my wife in there without me or her service animal who suffers from anxiety so I believe the little comment he made is I was walking out the door is a clincher on it all go ahead and tell 88 I don't give a f*** about them it was recorded so Brian when you read this from your chair after I'm done getting you fired for this no it was all me and your little smart ass mouth that came down on you just like you came down on my dog have a nice day I will never ever return to this casino again and neither will any of my friends or family and I have a lot of friends and rescue and elsewhere read more

We never actually made it inside the front door. While parking our car, some guy comes walking briskly out the door of the casino with one arm up near his chest wrapped in a sweatshirt. As I'm pulling into a parking spot, he walks in front of my car and starts pulling on the rear passenger door handle several times trying to get in (fortunately the doors auto-locked). Not sure if this was an attempted carjacking or thought I was his Uber or just a case of mistaken identity, but I didn't want to stick around to find out and we high-tailed it out of there in a hurry. I played back the dashcam video and the guy had a sinister grin on his face, so who knows. The outside of the building was nice. read more

I love this place. I would describe it as 'delightfully tacky'. It's old. It stinks. The clientele is very worthy of people watching. With that being sad, the staff is almost always friendly, the drinks are cheap, and the games pay (sometimes- it's gambling). There are lots of games and it's rarely crowded. The hot seat games on the screens are fun. It is one of the smokier ones in the area. But really, don't set your expectations high and you won't be disappointed! read more

Fun casino to play. The snack bar has quick tasty food. The restaurant is wonderful especially their weekly crab legs specials. They have a comedy club that I understand is reasonable and fun but I've not personally attended it yet. read more

this place is so hit and miss. had sirloin steak very good. roast beef and mash potatoes, excellent. today chili but it was luke warm. salads are good. needs a complete remodel and sectioned off from casino and smokers. aimee is a very good server! appreciate her hard work and positive attitude. mgmt needs replaced. new vision for restaurant. price is higher than most casinos. also they never serve bread with meals like other restaurants do. other specials are not very well thought out. Well here I am let me tell you my story my grandpa pas 54th birthday July 21st we go out to THE STABLES I walk a delicious meal with no complaints, is that what I got? NO. We order our drinks first they arrive my eldest sister got a water and it tasted like utter shit tap. Our food arrives my grandpa cuts open that steak and it's RAW *gordon Ramsay voice* so they take it back and put in the damn microwave why not flip that shit on the grill. Then my little sister got a steak and order it medium it was medium RARE no flavor all fat learn how to season your steaks you idiotic fools! The bill came out to be 134 dollars and that ponytail having waitress wanted a 28 dollar tip hell nooooo. Never going back again I'd rather have Taco Bell. read more
