    Brownie Bomb
    Abigail C.

This review is about our experience with the desserts at The Stand. The Stand has a drive thru and a place you can go up to the counter and order. There is outdoor seating as well. I wanted to add that there is a separate entrance to go into/out of the parking lot. The entrance is in front of the golf place. I ordered the Brownie Bomb and the portion size was big. There is brownie on the bottom, and on top of the ice cream. The brownie bomb also comes with whip cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup. This dessert is super sweet. My other half ordered the Banana Bogie. This dessert comes with vanilla ice cream, pineapple and strawberries chucks, and chocolate syrup. It also has whip cream and pecans on top. We both thought the desserts were great and the price point isn't bad either. We are both looking forward to coming here again and try even more desserts, or regular menu items.

    Pumpkin Pie Wipeout

Cheese dogs and taco in a bag were great. Taco in a bag is my favorite thing I've had so far! Went back for the pumpkin pie wipeout and it wasn't bad but could use some more spice.

As a self-proclaimed hot dog aficionado, this dog stand caught my eye while on the South side of the Fort on business. The Stand carried a 4.5 Yelp rating at the time of my visit which further added to my interest in sampling one of the top dogs in the Hoosier State. I love the shade trees and picnic tables available for dining al fresco in front of the Stand giving it the feeling of a "grove" in the city. From the menu with 23 varieties of different hot dogs, I sampled a simple Coney as well as a Texas Dog dressed up with bacon, tangy BBQ sauce and finely chopped white onions. I found the Coney sauce, BBQ sauce, sweet raw white onions and steamed buns to be outstanding validating the 4.5 stars. However, the wiener itself was only meh...a thin, plain-Jane beef and pork sausage probably boiled in bulk. Nevertheless, the flavor and texture of the fixins made up for the meager meat making the Stand a tasty casual lunch under the maples on a warm summer day...4 stars.

Have always heard of this place so on a nice sunny day we took a drive to get a treat. Plenty of outside seating nice parking g and a clear in and out driveways with signs o. Where to enter and exit. They also have a playground for the kiddos to play on. The menu is pretty big for a small local ice cream stand. If you'd rather have food they have that too Cones shakes blizzard type things etc etc all can be found at this cute little place. Employees all wore gloves and mask and the tables were marked off so ppl could sit the appropriate distance from each other. Umbrellas are on the tables but they also have benches if you prefer that. If you don't want to walk up to the order window don't worry they have a drive up also. It' wasn't as busy as the walk up either on this day. We got hand Scooped cones and the cones were fresh and the ice cream was very very creamy and rich. We also got a swirl soft serve and it was also Henry creamy and delicious. They offer a flavor of the day and vanilla or chocolate for their soft serve. Both were smalls and more than enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. We also purchased fries, they only have one size, and a small soda. They usually come with refills but not at this time which I didn't know. She said it did then when I went up to get a refill they said no. Kind of upsetting since a small soda was over $2. It's also very pricey. For two cones fries and soda it was $14. Eek. I'd go again. For a treat but it's pretty far from my house. Took me about 22'. Glad we went and def recommend. Enjoy.

This is literally one of my favorite places to go and get ice cream besides zestos . The stand is just a little better just because of the variety of desserts and regular food they have. It's easy to get in and out of the entrance and it's not in a super busy area. I recently came here with my mom . We ordered a lemonade shake up, a taco in a bag, and cheese fries. Everything was good as always ! The staff is always nice and patient. I am sad that they no longer have the strawberry creme drink which I loved so much. Above all I would recommend this place to people. I have never had an issue and I've been coming here for years.

Didn't skimp on the toppings and this one has bacon.

I took a seat at on of the stools at the counter. About those........this place has been around since the early 1900s, and you can tell. The stools were the size to fit people back then. My big ass barely fit on it, and this old timer next to me went to sit down, and missed the stool completely and almost took a tumble (thankfully he did not fall down). I placed my order for 2 hot dogs and a large Dr Pepper. How were they? Delicious! Coney Dogs- These dogs come with a loose meat style coney sauce, mustard and onions all on a soft steamed bun. The most awesome part, they are only $2.00 each! You can't get anything these days for $2.00. The dogs were delicious! I can see how they have been around 100+ years. If I wasn't going to another place to eat afterwards, I could have put down 4-5 dogs, easily. Service was very friendly, and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Would definitely stop back in if I'm ever near Fort Wayne again!

I wondered what the "select concessions" were... but I guess I would find out once I placed my order. I went to the Ball Park Favorites Concession which sells the following food: chicken tenders, fries, fried chicken sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, cheeseburgers, bratwurst, chili cheese dogs, hot dogs, funnel cakes, cheese curds, pretzels, nachos of all kinds, caramel corn, peanuts, candy, potato chips, cookies, and apple sauce. This concession stand also sells the following drinks: bottled water, sodas, apple juice, as well as premium and domestic draft beers. The family feast special was $2 for soft drinks and hot dogs. I was in the mood for a stadium hot dog, my family wanted chicken tenders. So i got two orders of chicken tenders and fries, a hot dog and fries and three sodas for about $32. The line does get long but the workers hustle, so i may have waited 10 minutes. If your wondering about condiments, there is a condiment station nearby to put whatever you like. I am a purist, so i just went with mustard. The hot dog was plump and flavorful, the fries were nice, crunch and salty. I had a bite of one of the tenders and they were so good! I almost wished I had gotten that instead of the hot dog... and I loved the hot dog. The cold drinks helped us survive longer in the heat... which would not let up even into the night. Great food!
