This location on St. Joe Center Road is the closest to my family home and the one I have the most memories of - my dad would often take me, my siblings, my mom, and whatever dog(s) we had at the time in his 1955 GMC pick-up truck (which he only used for short trips) and let us each get a small soft serve twist cone on hot summer nights in the 90s and 2000s. He would complain about the price, take a bite out of each cone, and we would eat our ice cream while people watching. Good memories. My boyfriend wanted to see some of my favorite childhood places so we stopped here last night on the way home from my birthday dinner (I always have room in my stomach for ice cream!). I got my childhood fave, a medium soft serve twist but with sugar free lemon and vanilla instead of the vanilla/chocolate combo our dad would get us. In the last 20 years, Zesto's has expanded their menu immensely and offer more flavors, more toppings, and even things like dole whip and Boston coolers! My boyfriend got a medium peach Boston cooler and enjoyed it, but it was a lot so I graciously finished it off for him.
