They HAD to experience Firt Wayne's best!! On Friday nights...Debrand's offers a chocolate cheese cake. It's not a traditional cheese cake. It's not dense nor cheesy. The cake offering was light and airy. It has a nice chocolate flavor without being heavy and over the top sweet. It really kinda melted in your mouth. A MUST try if you are there on a Friday night! Absolutely delicious!! The ice sundaes are still a crowd favorite. The ice cream is home made and smooth. The peanut butter option is very rich and sugary. The peanut taste is bold and creamy in texture. No nut chunks. The raspberry option is just like this. Bold berry taste with a rich concentration of sugar. I added the caramel sauce which blends the chocolate and peanut butter flavors nicely. The pecan bits give the sundae a nice crunch texture. The chocolate shell on the ice cream tends to be hard and difficult to cut. I recommend that two people split a sundae as it is decent amount of dessert and it is really rich. The Debrand team is always very friendly and service oriented. On this occasion they brought our party some sample chocolate pieces while we waited for the order.
