What is the point of having a full football-field playground if kids get stopped every ten minutes for everything they do? Our group kept being told, "Don't go near the boxes," "Don't get close to the stage," "Don't walk near that," "Don't run over here." It felt like the security guards had a rule for every step the kids took. If the intention is to stop children from actually playing, then maybe just close the playground instead of constantly policing families who are simply trying to enjoy the space. What made the experience especially frustrating was how uneven the enforcement was. None of the other families around us were approached, yet our group of four Asian families was repeatedly interrupted four times for simply sitting near the stage -- not touching it, just sitting near it. Meanwhile, the family right next to us was throwing a football directly at the stage, hitting the sign over and over. The guards didn't say a single word to them. Even as we were leaving, they continued throwing the football at it with no problem. It honestly makes no sense to have four security guards acting like they're protecting paint or boxes. Kids sitting near something is not the same as damaging it. A football slamming into the stage repeatedly is far more likely to cause actual damage, yet that behavior was completely ignored, while our seven kids were constantly stopped for playing. Overall, the rules were inconsistent, selectively enforced, and created an uncomfortable and unfair experience for our families. read more

After a 10 AM guided tour at AT&T Stadium, followed by lunch right across the street in Frisco at Tricky Fish, it was time for our booked tour of the Star at around 4:30 PM. The facility has a half field out in front for visitors to play or practice on. In the surrounding square, you have restaurants, retail and a Cowboys pro shop. We had a bit of time to kill after lunch so we ran some practice throws on this field and also went to the pro shop to purchase some shiny, new jersey for my dad. I don't rmbr our guide's name but she was much better than the tour guide we had at AT&T Stadium. You could tell she was a huge Cowboy's fan by how much knowledge she had about the team's history, drafting methods, accomplishments and current training habits. She was also much more enthusiastic and it showed in her demeanor. We passed through so many halls with rows and rows of legends but also saw the different facilities the players use to train. The tour was extremely informative and interesting! I was hoping we'd be able to see some players working out in the weight room as we passed by but they were all resting for gameday lol. read more

This was my third time attending a business event at The Star. Each time I've attended, I've been very sad by how we're treated like a criminal, etc. This last business event I attended we were being escorted from one security personnel to another trying to figure out which room and floor our event was being held in. Even when I asked if we could take the elevator because I was still recovering from knee surgery the security personnel had us take the stairs! When I said out loud after climbing a few stairs ( I can't do this; My knee is in too much pain)! I'm not going to be able to continue to climb the stairs anymore! I'm gonna have to go home! They called another security personnel to escort me to the elevators!!! After our event was over, I asked again if I could please take the elevator they called another security personnel to escort me and my coworkers. When A Couple of my coworkers noticed some of the Dallas Cowboys football helmets and jerseys on display behind a glass barrier. They stopped momentarily to admire the display. Immediately security personnel told them they had to keep moving they weren't allowed to stand there. WOW!!!! So sad that Dallas Cowboy fans aren't even allowed to admire their favorite team's memorabilia!!! I never will go back to this place!!!! read more

Ate breakfast at Rachel's before heading to put 10am tour. Came for the tour and had to go put my purse back in my hotel room after last year I took the same purse. I was trying to move past the inconvenience and the people having us wait stayed yes they recognize inconsistencies with their processes. The tour we have been on previously and enjoyed it so it wouldn't have disappointed me not to go again. We waited on late people so our tour didn't start on time. Be prepared in case you have other plans. The tour takes about an hour and 15minutes. read more

Hey Vegas Raiders, take notes. We were visiting from Vegas in December for a Cowboys game and saw that the Cowboys practice facility was doing a tree lighting the day before. My husband, a lifelong Cowboys fan, has never been to a game or seen the practice facility so of course we had to go. We took an uber from our hotel and were blown away on how incredible this is. For my Vegas people, think The District or Downtown Summerlin attached to a practice facility. It was AMAZING and honestly so smart of the Cowboys to do this. Shopping and restaurants right next to it probably brings in a lot of business. We visited their pro shop and of course had to get a jersey, sweatshirt and of course some Christmas presents for the family. The pro shop was awesome and had so many different items to choose from. They had mens and womens and kids, along with some fun household items, too. I've never seen so much Cowboys swag in my life. The tree lighting was amazing. The outside of the practice facility has a field where it is open and after, I saw a lot of kids running around on it, which was pretty neat. They had a stage and did the tree lighting with the Cowboys cheerleaders and the mascot, as well as a retired player that flipped the switch to light the tree. It was honestly so magical and cool to see. After the tree lighting, we walked around and enjoyed some of the dining and restaurants they have. I know I started my review with it and I hate to compare, but I can't help it. I just think it's so cool that they turned this into a community area. Fingers crossed the Raiders have something like this planned. Would love to see it! read more

This was a great tour!!! Ramona and Julie did a great job with this tour. So personable and efficient with all the information that was given. Parking here was a breeze. I think it's good to come early so you won't have any issues missing your tour. We did the 1:20pm tour and were able to eat prior to coming here. For $75 it was worth it. We got to see everything besides their lockers. We saw DAK in the field too with a family member but we were not allowed to take photos of them which makes sense. I love the Star!! I come here frequently. I was coming here years before I moved to Dallas and I absolutely love it. I always have a good time here. There is something for everyone and that it's family friendly! Before I had my son I loved going to the common table to the weekend hip hop brunch. The French restaurant is good and Tupelo honey is great for breakfast. Concrete cowboy is always a good time, there's never an entry fee and they play all the major boxing events! Cow tipping has the best ice cream and tricky fish has great seafood. Cane Rosso pizza is always a hit. This is a great place to bring your kids, even your dog can enjoy the fun! During the holidays they have a weekly Christmas extravaganza where they put on a whole show with the cowboys cheerleaders and light the tree. They have the best Christmas tree and lights! Not to mention this was during a weekday, so that's probably how we managed to avoid most of the crowds. The fan shop has a large and satisfying collection of gear. We recently did some corporate events in their facilities and really had a good time. They have great meeting space in the main office building. We were taken great care of by the staff. Every request was handled quickly. Lunch buffet was yummy. Loved the peach hand pies. We also used their space over in the athlete building on the indoor area mezzanie. What a cool facility. They got us extra chairs very quickly when we needed them. Good food and drink there too. And loved the tour of the facility. Got to see where the players practice and learn and eat. The Star District is a wonderful area to stroll through. An unique experience even when our Dallas Cowboys are not there in practice. Well kept and immaculate grounds. Fun it is to watch or even participate in running or throwing a football around at the plaza. Fond memories of a throw, catch, or tackle of a special player while exploring the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor Walk. Fabulous sculptures all around. Being it's a reflection of time, sadly I noticed that quite a few shops and eateries have permanently closed since covid. Wow! This is a really nice venue. It's large and flexible for use in many different forms, from indoor concert to student showcase, football to graduation. Bathrooms are basic - more stadium style than I expected for "The Star." The other thing that's a little disappointing is the lack of wayfinding signage for parking. Everything is keyed to those who have tickets for games (blue parking and silver parking). Where should the first time visitor park? Is it free or paid? I finally figured out what I needed to know, but I ended up being a little late for my event as a result. In all other respects, this is a great venue and will only get busier and busier in the days to come. read more

The local football team (Stars) has this SPLENDID food court. I started my afternoon at Cow Tipping Creamery. Here, I enjoyed my homemade coffee which I brought in my favorite mug (white with zebra print) and my NEW favorite book. As a good patron, I ordered a single scoop of my favorite ice cream flavor: Vanilla. Tasty, but a bit rich for my liking. I made my way over to Cane Rosso where I enjoyed a fantastic "dessert pizza", which featured Nutella and marshmellow. They misspelled "marshmellow" as "marshmallow" however... no big deal. I'll mail the manager if you want me to. Following this, I made my way, by foot, to "The Common Table." It isn't what you think though; there are PLENTY of tables here, not just one. I gobbled up "tableside s'mores." Want s'more? Ha. No, thank you. I am stuffed. I headed back to my apartment to watch my favorite "Full House" episode, and fell asleep a happy camper. Don't expect a working box office and you'll be fine. The box office directed me to tours for ticket information. The tours office had no idea why the box office sent me there. No one could tell me anything about buying tickets for the East West Shrine Bowl except to go to the SeatGeek App. Seat Geek says the tickets are managed by the Star box office. I just wanted back row seats that weren't Handicap companion seats because i have a bad back and need to stand up a lot. The app won't let me buy tickets in the back row without warning me that they are all handicap companion seats, and the box office apparently doesn't exist. It wouldn't even be this aggravating if they didn't have two people sitting around in the tours office. Why can't they be trained to help people with these types of issues. Is it that hard to actually staff a working box office? Horrible. read more

AT&T stadium and The Star are prime examples of what Jerry Jones has......money money money!!! The Star is magnificent! The indoor stadium is shared with Frisco high school football teams. Wow, that's a step up compared to when I played football. Every inch of this place was built to be the best of the best. And it is! The tour is so interesting and worth every penny. You just have to come see this place to understand how amazing it is. We had a blast, and with friends in Frisco, we'll be back to see some high school football, inside and air conditioned! I love that you can play on the outside football field and walk around and view Cowboys statutes, banners, pictures, etc. There are also plenty of places to shop and eat and even sleep at the Star. Had the honor to visit the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters and Practice Facility. This was an amazing place to visit. They have the super bowl trophies on display along with the rings, the practice field was beautiful, tons of history displayed throughout the entire space. We even got to see the official conference room for the Cowboys, along with their work out area and locker rooms! There was also a special appearance of Will McClay who was there for a special Q&A! This was amazing because you really learn about the process they go though every year when drafting new players along with the player evaluation process. read more

As a group of homeschool moms in town for a homeschool convention, we weren't sure if we would like the vip tour of the star. I am going to start by saying The Star is one beautiful place to visit. We are huge Dallas Cowboys fans and we came from Cincinnati, Ohio to see the game. This is the issue that we had on our tour at The Star. The tour guide(Rosie) was HORRIBLE, rude ,loud ,dismissive ,OCD and very unbecoming to guest on the tour and not only that she was very RUDE and demeaning to her coworker(TJ). I couldn't believe how the tour guide acted towards the guest who paid to see The Star. I would hope that after this review that someone can talk to her about her behavior and tone towards paying customers. The way she talk to TJ who assisted her on the tour was just down right embarrassing and upsetting to say the least. The property was amazing, but Rosie was just awful! read more

As a Seahawks fan who was curious about football operations, I signed up for the guided tour during my vacation here in Dallas. The facility definitely lived up to its reputation as one of the world-class facilities in the NFL! (Well, having 1.5B to build it definitely helps). The tour was extensive, as we were able to see the draft room, Cowboys history on the wall, the evolution of the uniform, both the indoor stadium and outdoor practice field, the Super Bowl trophy stand, the media room, etc. Our main tour guide was knowledgeable and humorous, and you can see his passion and love as a Cowboys fan (turned out his brother was a radio announcer for the team). It definitely made our trip a lot more enjoyable as we walked through the shiny giant building. We saw a few players walking in and out, but no recognizable names as it was the day before New Year. Overall, I am glad that I did the tour! (It was not enough to convert me to be a Cowboys fan, but the effort was there haha). Definitely recommended if you are in the area read more
